Kelce is on the downside of his career, Rice is coming off an ACL and who knows how long his suspension will be, Hollywood Brown is good at best

I get the sneaking feeling I’ll end up disliking Vrabel almost as much as Hoodie before it’s all said and done, just because. 😏

They were talking about it yesterday on 1 Bills live and he was signed for like 2 yrs they said something to the effect if they cut him out right it would be $7 mill against the cap but if they waited till after a certain time it would be spread out between this year and next year. Just going by what they were talking about I don't have a clue but that';s what I thought I heard them say ...

Seizing control of the means of production
BillsFanNC replied to Thurmal34's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I was against it when Obama did it and I don't like the orange menace doing it now. The fact is .. It's been done before and neither time was it the government seizing the means of production. The Marxists infesting our government are attempting to stoke the revolution through cultural means. Economic Marxism, while the ultimate goal, isn't being employed to a large extent. Mamdani in NYC being the biggest exception. -
That was (still) not the question.

Seizing control of the means of production
Roundybout replied to Thurmal34's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Yeah, no. Nice try. TARP went through Congress and had a specific plan to liquidate the governments holdings once certain levels were hit. Im amused watching yourself happily accept socialism! -
Skinny post to Kincaid.

I personally don’t like at all. But then again there is that saying Hate the game not the players

Seizing control of the means of production
SCBills replied to Thurmal34's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If you’re a conservative.. truly a conservative.. you generally should be against both of these things. But we don’t operate in that prism anymore. Trump has broken down the walls of political parties to the point Democrats are listening to Bush era officials on their tv every evening as they get mad about a raid on John Bolton… meanwhile Republicans, in large part, are cheering on tariffs and the govt owning equity stake in a business. People can act confused by this all they want, but it really just boils down to the idea that one party is right leaning, more socially conservative and fiscally populist with an appeal to traditional Americana with a base of white men, latino men, married women and growing influence amongst the working class. While the other party believes in higher taxes to fund societal safety nets and increased migration with a heavy focus on race & gender identity politics that appeal to more college educated, single women, black folks and marginalized groups. This is no longer country club Republicans vs union led Democrats. That political world doesn’t exist anymore. -
Bungles still being Bungles

Exhibit A for something about blind squirrels and location of nuts…the Bills consistently create opportunities to get there, the Bungles are consistently inconsistent. -
Reminds me a lot of the Michael Vick situation from when he got released from Prison. He had it narrowed down to either the Bills or Bengals and Goodell steered him towards the Eagles. Still a bizarre situation. Bleacher report did a fantastic article on it. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/810721-why-did-roger-goodell-and-nfl-steer-michael-vick-away-from-the-buffalo-bills

Looking back -- Davante Adams vs Amari Cooper
Einstein's Dog replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes to Davante Adams over A Cooper. In 2024 and 2025. I can understand the A Cooper move in 2024 when factoring in cost - draft capital and money. And when they acquired A Cooper the hope was for a much more productive season than we received. But for 2025 the cost was just money. I would have liked to see the Bills outbid the Rams - who took D Adams to replace C Kupp. For about an additional $10M you get a much more established proven productive player than J Palmer. -
Would I trade a Super Bowl appearance in Allen’s second year for not getting to the Super Bowl in Allen’s first 7 seasons? YES.

The government owned a shitload of gm stock after the bailout. This has been done before. Trump does it and everyone goes nuts and chigoose calls us lemmings. Oh no. -
Seizing control of the means of production
Roundybout replied to Thurmal34's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Yes, raising taxes on Americans lowers the deficit. Good job. Gold star! I don’t particularly care, I just find it highly amusing that MAGA now supports the government owning the means of production. Whats the word for that? -
Basically it's a cheap millionaire calling out a cheap (is Brown even a) billionaire. They can both kick rocks.

Eric Dickerson Claims Teams Were Told To Not Draft Shedeur Sanders
Don Otreply replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sounds like a load of sh-t from Dickerson, -
This Draft has two potential future starters that the staff is developing on the OL in Van Pran Granger and Grable. Not much to go off of, but given their faith in them and ability to build an OL with Kromer here, that alone would be a huge boost to the view of this draft class. Ray Davis is the prototype RB2. I don’t necessarily have a ton of hope for Carter. Seemed the fanbase didn’t love the pick from jump and he’s done nothing to change that opinion. Bishop, we have no clue what he is.. he could be a Terrel Bernard.. he could be a bust. We’ll find out this year. Keon turning into a high end WR2 or potential WR1 would single-handedly save the draft class. I have to say.. I’m getting extremely bullish on him as it’s becoming clear Josh Allen (and the coaching staff) trust him.

Both less talented and less destructive -
That was not very responsive. Let’s make it perfectly clear: Would you like to switch places with the Bengals? Yes or no?
-
Yeah, it’s wicked fun doing the same thing every year (making the post season, then doing very little). Buckle up for another one of Beane’s Geriatric Special Defenses and Beane’s We Don’t Need No Stinkin’ WR1 Offenses. They’ll get there 6 automatic wins against the pathetic AFCE foes. Eke out another 5-6 regular season wins. Secure the 2-3 seed. Win one, then make room for someone else. FUN!!!! Eff the Super Bowl!!!

He's probably just lucky it wasn't a Super 8.
