  1. Past hour
  2. This offense is much better in no-huddle mode…it takes Brady out of the equation. McDermott won’t allow it, though, because he doesn’t want to expose his precious defense.
  3. Looking out on the morning rain I used to feel so uninspired And when I knew I had to face another day Lord, it made me feel so tired
  4. He's super fast, but I can't recall if he's deep threat fast or YAC fast
  5. Agree, and it's the very same scheme they used last season to beat the Lions at Detroit 48-42 and lost to the Rams 42-44. Actually I've read that this years receivers corps are better than last seasons. Exactly! I do believe that I've read that opposing players know the scheme and what play are coming better then the Bills players. This OC needs to get his head out of his arse. Joe Brady needs to do a better job!
  6. Or that first jet sweep for almost 3.
  7. Agree. Im not letting Shakir off the hook either. He just got paid big and has practically disappeared. Why are we paying him 15mil a year? And there are people on this board that hated the idea of picking Mcconkey because he " would take away from Shakirs snaps".
  8. Patriots are right where the Bills were when we made it to the AFC title game the first time. Their window is just starting to open.
  9. Yeah, the weapons aren’t great, but this Brady offense is a catastrophe. Samuel, Moore and Coleman are all early second round picks and all relatively young. It’s not like there’s nothing to work with there. The Bills still have a top 5 injury-free offensive line, 29-year old Josh Allen, and a top 3 RB…many NFL offenses have thrived with much worse personnel…
  10. Um ok. Saying another QB is outplaying Allen this year absolutely doesn't mean Allen is a "scrub". And just because he won the MVP last year doesn't mean he can't play poorly or even below his own standards. Weird that I'd even need to point that out.
  11. when my kids were small we named pets based on names they could easily say A boxer, the kids first dog, was named Ali. after the boxer of course. Then came Lickie Billy my current dog is a golden pittie named Pumpkin. Punkie for short. family decision. 🧡🧡🧡
  12. This is going back in time but the 1980 divisional round loss to the Chargers. The Bills had the lead late in the 4th and then Fouts throw a long TD pass for the game winning score. A year later in the 1981 divisional round vs the Bengals the Bills were driving for the tying score, but a penalty stalled the drive and the Bills lost by 7.
  13. It's partly him (he looks like he absolutely hates to do any blocking) but I also don't think the Bills use his skills properly. He's not a WR1. He's more of a slot or TE. He's not beating CB1 coverage, but he can beat other coverages. It's not Coleman's problem that the Bills WR room is all slot and gadget receivers. He'd be good at the "Travis Kelce, just run around out there" route.
  14. It's a valid question. Will he even make the roster and see playtime is another valid one. This could be a good move that helps elevate our WR core...or it could be the WR version of when we signed Leonard Fournette to the practice squad. Time will tell
  15. this is all that is needed. we ran into a stacked box and created absolutely no offense to get the dolphins out of it despite them using a #3CB, a #4CB, a basically practice squad nickel, a #3 safety, and #5 LB, and trading away Jaylen Phillips. seriously that defense Miami put out had little to no talent and stopped us entirely by scheme. it was horrific. it was a travesty.
  16. My feeling is that Keon Coleman is not the only player giving a less than full effort this season. It's astounding to me how many vets on this team are doing nothing, and look completely disinterested in how the team is playing.
  17. This is why I keep coming back to scheme and passing design more than personnel. You can have different receivers running those same routes, but if the play calls are just as predictable it won’t matter. WRs in Brady’s offense aren’t the best versions of themselves and we have years of data that proves it.
  18. I think this game is going to play out like the last one vs TB. With Mayfield running around completing passes and our rushers chasing him like a Benny Hill sketch. I could even see it coming down to a last chance Hail Mary just like the last game. Our offensive game plan? No idea what to expect.
  19. I just go with Stinky and add a roman numeral after it in sequence
  20. I think its highly likely the Bills leaked the information to try and get sympathy from their fans. "Oh look at least they tried!" The issue I take with that is the Bills have Beane, two assistant GMs, and a Pro Personnel Advisor in their front office. They are a well-staffed, highly paid group of football professionals. They had from October 13th when they lost to Atlanta and it was obvious they needed to make a move at WR, until November 4th at 4pm to get a deal in place. I appreciate they went big game hunting, but this team had over 21 days to make a move. They had draft picks, plenty of resources in the front office, and the backing of the owner to spend millions of dollars on a player beyond this year. Bottom line is they failed. Brandon Beane seems like the type of guy it'd be cool to golf or get a beer with, but he is arrogant as hell and it impacts his job. More than once he's become defensive about fan or radio host opinions about what the football team needs. He says stuff like "this isnt fantasy football" which is essentially him telling the moron fans that he knows more than they do. The fact is he likely does. But when Joe Six Pack in Cheektowaga knows you need a WR, and you tell him he doesnt know football, and Joe ends up right, maybe humble yourself a bit. Beane is famous for pounding the podium and getting emotional about the city of Buffalo and Bills fans. Thats great. That said, when you alienate your fans. When you yell at radio hosts for being stupid. You're the bully. Beane's life path may have led him to a football front office. But there are fans who have lived and died with this team for 30, 40, 50, even 60 years. Guys that shell out thousands of dollars for tickets, parking, and whatever new goofy jersey you happen to be selling for $150 dollars this year while making manufacturing job wages. So when you completely fail at your job while making millions, maybe do better than "this isnt fantasy football" or "It takes two to tango." Bills' fans are not stupid. None of us should feel bad for you when you try and blame the Dolphins or Jets for your failures. It just proves they arent as clueless as you were when you decided to make the Chiefs better. Next time you decide to pound a podium, take a minute and understand you don't speak for us. You've lost that right. Because when you go back to North Carolina with your millions, and the Bills are a distant memory for you, we will still be here. Your job is to go after a Super Bowl every year, not make excuses for why you cant.
  21. I agree 13 personnel is becoming more popular. I also believe defensive minded head coaches, like McDermott will always embrace anything that protects their defense. This is especially true when you have a bad defense.
  22. Because it’s bullsh*t. Conspiracy theories are a business these days. The purveyors rely on people like you. looking forward to your Trump-related response and something about pedo worshipers. Sigh.
  23. I was speaking overall. I have no clue what their stats are, but overall, Allen has proven himself. Hell he won the MVP last year and know your acting like he is a scrub. 🙄 I was speaking overall. I have no clue what their stats are, but overall, Allen has proven himself. 24. Here is the breakdown of who is ***** up. Josh is included.
  25. It easily gets my vote for McDermott's worst game because of the lack of preparation (42 pass attempts in bad weather) and the team's lack of interest and effort. 13 Seconds was bad but the team showed up for that game.
