Do The Bills Have A Passing Game Problem?
FireChans replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall

For sure. If that defense can’t turn it around, their season is going to be a long and losing one. Agree but with what’s been shown on the field so far, they are a better team than the Steelers. Like you said, it’s going to come down to mistakes They’re both poorly performing teams but I out the edge to the Steelers right now.
-
Our D is not good. This is a typical year.
-
Is Cook being mediocre to bad at pass pro a legitimate reason to keep him off the field at this point? Davis looks horrendous and Johnson doesn't look much better so far this season. If we're running 13 personnel then he should always be on the field, surely with 3 TEs they can block.
-
We’re probably going to need a CB for when Benford launches with his head and has to miss time. He’s not gonna make it to the end. LB to be safe.
-
It's not a UB season without at least one big fat choke job. Up 17 at the start of the 4th, UB gives up 3 TDs and loses 21-17 to troy. QB Ta'Quan Roberson is injured in the 3rd Q and Coach Lembo, showing zero faith in his backup, just runs the ball, goes three and out over and over, and lets Troy back in the game. Then with 45 seconds left and down 4 they start passing and get close enough to throw it to the end zone three times. You couldn't have tried throwing the ball a little sooner?? Ay yi yi, every UB coach gets one massive choke of a loss and Lembo now has his.

Me so hungry:

So far through preseason and the regular season, I have not seen one good Davis run Just Took a scroll down memory lane there

Didn’t they play in the playoffs last year?

Hey, they did not win the divison AND missed the playoffs one year! At 11-5...with a backup...

Josh is already the 3rd highest scoring non-kicker in Bills history…

It's great and all, but this is one of those stats that's impacted by playing more games in the regular season - Ties the arms around the older guys like Reed and Thomas. -

Im assuming the Dems will say this is obviously a Conservative group because they believe Tyler Robinson is MAGA. I honestly if an AI photo of Hitler with a red MAGA comes out, Dems would believe its real. This is not fake. This is real. They want to be able to have sex with children and not wanting to go to jail. They want us to accept them. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C8Zjt-Gu9Qr/?igsh=anc0aXh2cWw3ZGtj

Yeah, but every day we witness history. Like today, I didn’t over consume while watching football. Although the night is still early. -

Dang straight . Who cares if he is Too thin , or slow , when they are scoring touchdowns and making plays ! It is a concern for some of us here.
-
What fits did he give us? His 9 rushes for 38 yards?

Yes, you were quoted incorrectly. It was meant for someone else. My apologies. I meant to quote NeverOutNick. Sorry for the incoming long reply, but you have a knack for making me go all analytical lol Right now, we're carrying the bare minimum at DT. We were initially going to carry 5 DT for a total of 10 DL, but Carter got injured right before the year. I think they believed that they could get by with having the minimum 4 we have active for a number of weeks and then bring Logue or Phillips up, if necessary. And they temporarily decided to boost ST's with Franklin for the time being. I think ultimately when it comes to the numbers game and where we carry extra, it's more of a sticking point coming out of the Pre-Season than it is mid season. Mid season, it's more about fitting the best players you can on when and where you can, depending on injuries. Obviously, there's limits to that. You need to make sure you have at least 2 QB, 3 RB, 1 FB, 5 WR, 3 TE, 9 OL, 8 DL, 5 LB, 5 CB, 4 S, and 3 Specialists. But those 5 extra spots are more liberal as the year goes on. 11 DL isn't an insane number. In fact, we finished the season last year with that exact number - DE: Greg Rousseau AJ Epenesa Von Miller Dawuane Smoot Javon Solomon DT: Ed Oliver Daquan Jones Austin Johnson Dewayne Carter Jordan Phillips Quinton Jefferson I mean, right now, we're carrying an unheard of 12 in the Secondary. Granted, Codrington and Franklin are DB's in name only. But the same can be sort of said of Solomon, who's way more ST's than DL. The problem with cutting from the DL, and you touched on it a bit, is who do you let go? The most obvious at DE is the aforementioned Solomon. But he's a key ST player, which is why he's active over Jackson. So it probably won't be him. Obviously, Rousseau, Bosa, Hoecht, and Jackson aren't going anywhere. So that really only leaves AJE. I did mention the off chance possibility that, if everyone stays healthy there, he could be dealt. But if we can't get anything for him, I'm not sure they'd outright cut him. Daquan won't be cut. I don't see them thinking he's the unquestioned starter at 1T to thinking he provides nothing in the rotation. I suppose, like AJE, there's an off chance that if someone were interested they'd Trade him. But that would only happen if they felt Walker was ready to be their starter AND that Ogunjobi would play 1T. But idk how likely that is as Ogunjobi was brought in to be a 3T and that's where he spent Camp and the Pre-Season. Though he has played that spot before. When it comes to DT with Ogunjobi, as I said, we always meant to carry 5 there to begin with. So that's a pretty simple move of erasing the pencil Franklin was etched in with Carter's spot and activating Ogunjobi. And Hairston is as simple as erasing the pencil Ingram was etched in with - as I feel the only reason he made it was bc Hairston was out. Same goes for Lundt penciled into Grable's spot and Prater in Bass' spot (if they decide to activate either). Ultimately, it's all pretty simple - save for Hoecht's spot. I think the easiest thing that can happen there is that there's an injury along the WR, DL, or Secondary rooms where someone is IR'ed at one of those spots. Though that's not something I'm wishing for, that would make it the simplest move. Maybe Landon Jackson pops up with a mysterious injury and he's IR'ed for a time. But I imagine they'd want him to develop in Practice. Outside of that, maybe they shop around AJE, Samuel, or Daquan and they can get something done with one of them.

That's not required for a West coast offense though. It's not about having a fullback or being under center most of the time, it's about the short passing game, stretching the field horizontally & picking up 1st downs over taking big shots. Not really much to do with running the ball any particular way or having a set formation.

Keeping score with you is like watching a kindergartenet eat spaghetti with a spoon. No intelligent person pays you any mind. No. She comes here galavanting love and kindness and how we all need to stop hate or some kumbaya bull#### but then calls people magats and such. Then it sdished back to her and she gets all in an uproar because people flame her self righteous ass. She's grandma who doesn't do anything but get her info from Facebook and pretty soon I'll be typing in all caps, and talking about her two new chihuahuas
