  1. Past hour
  2. If Babich were on the market looking for a team, he would be unemployed for a long time.
  3. We all knew Keon was not that good. There was a retired WR, who played for Carolina, get on the air and voice his opinion. It wasn’t good! Back it up with film.
  4. Migrants pay taxes too. https://itep.org/undocumented-immigrants-taxes-2024/ Taxation without representation is illiberal.
  5. If they somehow find a way to trade for Olave and Meyers this team has a top 10 WR unit in the NFL. Olave is a legit lower end WR1, Meyers is a legit WR2, Shakir a top slot WR in the league and Keon and Palmer as WR 4/5 is the better depth options in the league. They aren't going to be able to trade for both. But the idea that if they did that it would only make you semi-excited is hilarious to me. If this team could get Olave and he stays healthy this offense is transformed. Adding a piece in the secondary could give the defense a shot in the arm but I generally agree the defense is much more likely to improve just by getting guys back from injury plus the PED Twins suspension.
  6. This bill was passed in 2023 so you can review board of election reports of voter fraud and see how many Minnesota illegals committed the federal crime of voter fraud. Non-citizens are not allowed to vote and none of these laws gave them this right. It simply allowed illegals to obtain non-federal driver's licenses in hopes to prevent dangerous and illegal driving. There is a big difference between MN's automatic voter registration, which involves thorough vetting, and election day voter precinct registration. The weak point in election day precinct registration is that you must provide ID and proof of residency, but only sign a binding attestation form that you are a legal voter and not committing a federal crime. Ok. Let me ask you this. How does it make sense that an illegal, who is trying to make money, live, most often find a path to legal status and/or maintain residency, and most often has poor English skills (especially reading and writing), wants to risk exposing themselves to deportation by trying to fraudulently vote? In massive numbers?? Because the legal, non-citizen immigrants that I know hate having to submit to any government check of their identities. How are illegals driven in the opposite direction to shine a light on themselves while knowingly committing this federal crime? https://dps.mn.gov/divisions/dvs/license-and-id/dl-all The Driver’s License for All initiative expanded the accepted types of documentation required for Minnesotans to receive a standard driver’s license or identification (ID) card. Passed in 2023, Minnesota joined 18 other states, including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, to allow a standard driver’s license to be issued without proof of immigration status. Automatic Voter Registration: https://www.sos.mn.gov/elections-voting/register-to-vote/automatic-voter-registration/ Automatic voter registration is called automatic because of its convenience for applicants. In fact, the process of registering someone to vote under this new law is complex and involves multiple points of human verification. Since there is a 20-day opt-out period and a verification process, voter registration may take 4-6 weeks from when a person first applies for their state-issued ID. Minnesotans can check their voter registration status online. https://www.sos.mn.gov/elections-voting/register-to-vote/register-on-election-day/ https://www.sos.mn.gov/elections-voting/register-to-vote/ Who can vote in Minnesota: To vote you must be: A U.S. citizen At least 18 years old on Election Day (16 & 17 year olds can pre-register) A resident of Minnesota for 20 days Not currently incarcerated for a felony conviction Not under a court order that revokes your right to vote
  7. But I want it to get better LOUDLY!!!
  8. Next year you probably lose Knox - 7.4M Dead cap to cut. Bosa - 7.2M Dead cap in void money. This can be spread out if you extend him. Jones - 3.7M Dead cap in void money. Milano - 11M Dead cap in void money Ogunjobi - 2.5M Dead cap in void money Epenesa - 2.8M Dead cap in void money McGovern - 4.8M Dead cap in void money Total is 39.4M in dead money from voided contract years Then the likely releases Rapp - 666k in dead cap so he should be gone Knox - 7.4M in dead cap for 10M in savings. No brainer. Samuel - 3.5M in dead cap for 6M in savings. Also a no brainer. Then the free agents (of note) Edwards - Starter whos paid alright and might finally chase a big contract. Trubiskey - I can take him or leave him, but the team will need a new backup QB. White - Meh Moore - Meh Lewis - Meh Thompson - Surprisingly not meh. He should not be an every day option, but he's been solid as a depth contributor and seems to play well under McDermott. So all-in about 50M in dead cap. Not good, but not as bad is it looks either. IMO the biggest holes will be - LG - Edwards is a UFA, and will get paid by someone who's probably not buffalo. C - McGovern could see an extension, especially if they want to use anderson at LG. WR - Not saying use a first, but its a challenge to pay market rates annually. Team really needs some speed on the boundary. WLB - Milano's injury history, and some less than stellar drafting has made this a problem. 1T - Jones is 35. I know this position can play into their 30s but its probably time for a change S - Rapp stinks, get another young player in here and a real vet. DE - Likely where they'll spend money again. Jackson HAS to be able to at least replace epenesa.
  9. Metcalf in his prime was right there for the taking. Would not have even needed to give up a 1. They will continue to try the low budget wish solution until Allen is 38.
  10. Where are the signs that he’s lost a step running? I’m not disagreeing with you, I just haven’t really seen that. I think he’s a little more hesitant and we’re not calling as many designed runs for him. Which is a good thing, that’s what most logical people wanted so he would have a longer career.
  11. I don't feel the need to defend Brady, his limitations are obvious and his inexperience shows up against well coached defenses. But the Bills knew that when they hired him, or at least they should have. There was no evidence that he was some prodigy just waiting to get his chance. So it is just bad team building. You can't hire the inexperienced OC with a simple scheme and also give him crap to work with. I'm not totally satisfied with Brady but I don't blame him either. To me that's like blaming Shakir for not getting both feet inbounds on the tight sideline catch. When you ask players and coaches to do more than their abilities allow, you can't blame them when they fall short. I blame the people that put them in those positions.
  12. agree...we wasted so many plays on Shavers and Moore.
  13. Have her move to reds.
  14. Down Tyler Rapp should not be on the field Not addressing the WR boundary positions properly when it is an obvious negative Injuries make it hard to judge, especially with younger guys Up Delone Walker has been a pleasant surprise Dalton Kincaid is a blossomimg into a star TE James Cook hasn't missed a beat with the holdout
  15. “A Super Bowl caliber defense” said no one ever in the McD era.
  16. well said...If these guys cannot beat man coverages, then we are going to be really cooked. The tough YAC for Shakir has disappeared...We really missed the in-form receiver in Kincaid on Monday night.
  17. It wouldn't shock me if he retired in the next couple of years. I think he might do it after this year if they somehow won the Super Bowl.
  18. The defense can get by on what they have, especially when some injured/suspended players return. Maybe add a safety that would at least be a minor upgrade on what they have. What they absolutely HAVE to do is add a #1 WR that changes the ENTIRE offense. I don't care how many draft picks they need to give away, or how you need to manipulate the cap, do it already. This team only succeeds when Allen can do his thing, and getting a true #1 changes everything for Josh, Shakir, Coleman, Kincaid, and Cook.
  19. He needs a new HC, a new direction, to bring back some excitement. This will become clear to most in the coming weeks. This team is very stale this season.
  20. Without Hitler... Where would NASA be today?
  21. I am tired of the predictable scheme of running the football on 2nd down every time (at least it seems like that) and we gain 1-yard and a puff of dust
  22. So you’re saying we don’t need Brady at all. Literally EVERY high school OC can design that route tree. Every single one!
