WTF DID I JUST SEE??!!

Prater has had 5 seasons with a better fg% than any historical Bills kicker. Last year in a part time role he was 3/3 fg and 10/10 xtrp. Tonight he was 3/3 fg and 2/2 xtrp. Who knows whats going to happen later this season. But I'm happy Beane found Prater.

one things I'll say...the interior DLine I thought did its job today for the most part in getting vertical and penetrating gaps, and the upgrades were visible, and the last few drives they Bills DLine was wholesale winning their matchups. They also consistently got pressure on Jackson when he dropped back. That gets lost in the ridiculous running attack the Ravens come at you with....but the Bills invested in the DLine a variety of ways, and in a lot of ways it showed tonight. One of those QBs is not like the other two.

This was the Ravens super bowl but they didn't know how to finish it out, This was the Bills week 1 matchup and were rusty but kept fighting til the end.

At one point in the first half, the announcers said 41% of Allen's passes were behind the line of scrimmage. I acknowledge that dink-and-dunk is appropriate in some circumstances. Brady did a lot of dink-and-dunk in his time. But nearly half of the passes behind the LOS sounds like the stat line of a rookie QB who hasn't earned the confidence of his coach. Josh is a future HOFer, the reigning MVP, and probably Buffalo's best QB ever. You've got to let him air it out sometimes.

Anyone who is anything less than ecstatic and jubilant and and soaking up the glory of this miraculous and highly memorable comeback win, all I have to say is... Who hurt you? Why are you the way that you are? Do you walk into the middle oh a hoppin' party and squat over the punch bowl and take a ***** in it? Do you do your taxes on Christmas morning? Do eat your steak well done and covered in ketchup? I understand the sentiment that the defense needs to be better, and that there's lots to clean up. BUT... For the love of God...you don't get many games like that as a sports fan. If you can't enjoy THAT win without being a party pooper, you really ought to consider quitting sports watching entirely.

We aren’t going to be playing the Ravens every week. There are some good QBs in the league but the drop off from Allen, Jackson and Mahomes is s big one. And we don’t have to play against Allen.

I believe the Coleman pass was tipped to him. Wasn’t going to him. Hawes bobbled the ball while bing hit. Incredible play by him to keep possession. Both plays had a little luck.

Milano I thought looked poor in the first half, and I can't recall him in the 2nd half. was the 50 yarder what you're talking about in the 2nd half?

In order: Josh Allen Ed Oliver Keon Coleman James Cook Matt Prater (Weird that he is a Bill) Dalton Kincaid Can't give the defense too much more props outside of Oliver because they gave up 40 points, but Benford and Strong were also solid. Honorable mentions. Spencer Brown had some nice run blocks as well. He can be another honorable mention.

The field has got to be sacrosanct. I will never blame any player from any team that goes after some self-important asshat that reached over and put his hands on a player.

I know I spend too much time on this message board that after I'm high fiving people in the stands after the game winning kick my first thought is I can't wait to read the live game thread on the computer. It lived up to the hype.

Nah. Lamar isn't in the wrong here. A fan is putting their hands on a teammate, you don't know how that can go. You don't know what they could have on them. Even if they swing with their keys on their hand, you can do damage. There's a reason why fans are taken down without prejudice if they hop a rail in any spectator sport. Shoving them back into their seat is a fairly tame response.

Strong got caught in the blender on the long Zay Flowers catch and run off the mesh, that's about all I can remember from him

Josh just missed 400 - remember the days when people would be pissed he couldn't break 300 lol. Crazy that affer the terrible way this game was going for so long, in the end it throws him right in the MVP conversation to start the year

Eh, it's a night game. That plays a lot into it. Most folks need to show up for work, unlike the Bills defense. People always leave night games early. The 15 point deficit didnt help, for sure.
