  1. Past hour
  2. I love that Mahomes sounds like Bobcat Goldthwait from the Police Academy movies.
  3. Yeah, bad move on the rookie's part or theoretically he could be purely creating something to cause the Chiefs to scour for non-existent tells and put Worthy's mind in a mixer trying to avoid any tells.
  4. I was not saying it was the wrong call just thinking why not punt and eliminate the chance of a block FG being returned for a TD. I am no expert why I asked the question..
  5. Do you have any of these compromising photos/pics of him? How is this the first I'm hearing of this!
  6. And here I was thinking that he would be our backup CB with starter potential
  7. Ok. Here's what we do 1. Lock Joe Brady in a closet. 2. Let Josh call what plays he feels comfortable with. 3. Let Josh run 4. Target Cook, Kincaid, Shakir and whomever it is that we aquire at WR tomorrow. 5. Win the game.
  8. Oh right, yeah for sure I knew that lol That was part of my original point though, in that players and their trainers are pretty good at running cost-benefit analyses on training schedules and league testing protocols and determining how much risk they're willing to assume. But so many players are definitely seeking to maximize recovery and resilience with the assistance of all kinds of regimens, and that then allows those interested in mass and raw strength to push harder and gain more. *so important to always reiterate that anabolic steroids in particular actively DAMAGE connective tissues in ways that accentuate the strength/stability imbalance of getting overly developed, especially when you consider the physics involved in giant NFL specimens accelerating and changing direction and sprinting like MUCH smaller humans.
  9. I feel like every time I flip on a Saints game I'm watching him drop a pass. I'm sure that's not the case, but it sure feels like it.
  10. Stats didn't get Allen an MVP last year. Lamar Jackson's stats dwarfed his. And as a passer this year Allen is around 15th-17th statistically. The rushing TD's are nice but it's a bunch of tush pushes.......no long valiant run like when he closed out KC last year. The home loss to NE and the road loss to an Atlanta team that will finish with a losing record undermine his MVP chances greatly this year. Last year his losses were to 3 division winners on the road. All 3 reached the divisional round. And he beat the NFC #1 seed on the road. This schedule was considerably easier, that 6-2 doesn't feel as impressive because it hasn't been.
  11. You think Allen is just going to throw it all over the field in that spot?
  12. Who are we playing, how many time outs do we have, and more importantly how many time outs do they have? Even with this offense, two minutes is an eternity.
  13. i was half ass listening to a bunch of diff pod casts after the game. one of them (buffalo plus)? said that Michael Hoecht was basically being a field general telling players where to line up..helping with assignments, and a bunch of other stuff.
  14. No I don't mean they're Achilles didn't pop lol I agree with you that peds put stress on your ligaments and tendons that they didn't see back in the day I'm saying I know people who went to the NFL that used peds but they never popped positive on a drug test because they knew how to get around it
  15. Well sure, achilles tears are just one of many connective tissue injuries NFL players can endure.
  16. As of 11:30 PM Homelander has posted in 29 straight threads. He was 1 away from having all 30 page one threads Mostly his, all unimportant. Every important issue of the past two days has been buried.
  17. Well that's my point I know ped users who have made it to the NFL They don't all pop positive either.. they know how to get around testing... The cycles are timed
  18. The majority of known MLB juicers have denied or deflected to this day. That doesn't make them innocent. If you know professional athletes, especially in more violent sports, then you know many of them have or will utilize banned substances at some point in their careers. I especially don't love combat athletes as evidence for how other leagues and athletes operate. Notoriously corruptible young meatheads and governing authorities.
