Game week thread - Bills at Texans TNF

Are the Texans better with or without CJ Stroud? -
I think we may be set at S for the foreseeable future. Bishop will be the full time starter and has really developed into a playmaker. IMHO, the ceiling for him is very high and the trajectory is clearly pointing straight up. Opposite Bishop, I can see the Bills moving Taron from NCB to the other S this offseason. Hancock will be the backup. IMHO, Taron would be an excellent S. He is a sure tackler, good in coverage. May not have the same fast twitch reflexes from a couple years ago (hence the move) but he is smart and knows the defense. With Hairston and Benford at boundary CB, we need to find another NCB in the draft. I do believe our secondary will be a major strength of this team next season.

I found a couple free HMO plans thru blue cross/blue shield that look pretty darn good. I can get the exact name of the plans if anyone wants them. The coverage appears better than my mom’s old independent health plan (which she liked). We were able to compare it to the new plan independent health is offering to replace hers for $40/month and it has better coverage than that plan too. We are leaning toward one of those 2. The one plan has slightly lower out of pocket costs in some stuff like x-rays ($25 vs. $50) and out patient hospital ($375 vs $475). But the other plan provides an $81/month credit toward the Medicare part B premiums that are deducted out of social security payments every month. So I think we are leaning toward that one. Ive had blue cross/blue shield for many years now and love them. It’s not Medicare though. Next step is to call blue cross/blue shield directly. That’s been helpful for us in eliminating some plans we were considering. Personally, i’d recommend everyone do that before choosing your plan. Once you have it narrowed down to a couple, call those specific insurance companies and talk to them to make sure you are reading/understanding everything correctly. Double check that your doctors and medications are covered, etc.

Absolutely. They go on simply annoying runs in the second half of the year. here's hoping, and feeling, that this year is a little different.
-
The Bills mafia has traveled really well but it hasn’t stopped the team from coming out flat in Atlanta and Miami. Any lack of road performance has to be due to their pregame regiment. I’m hoping that the coaching staff takes note.
-
Ha I won't be mixing with locals. I am here for their sunshine and in a gated 5 star.
-
Oh fully agree. They are having some issues this year. But wouldn't not be so like them to turn it all around at the worst possible time and go on a long winning streak?
-
Their pass D worries me some. They did give Allen his worst QB performance of his career last season. Hopefully Brady keeps the creativity flowing again this week because I doubt receivers are gonna be as open as they were last week.
-
No they weren't. Josh's favorite target TE Dalton Kincaid was out (hamstring) and Shakir was injured so they used him as a decoy.

Should we look to trade Keon after this season?

Well he has been late multiple times going back to his rookie year, he was late to meetings in his rookie camp. That is not a good sign. It is unacceptable. -
There’s no fallacy. The argument: Epstein trafficked young girls the victims, now adults have made a list including powerful and wealthy men. If none of the most or none of the names aren’t in the files, the release is incomplete. The argument that victims haven’t released the list yet because of NDAs is a red herring. They most likely haven’t released the for fear of retribution. That may change.

Be really careful in Mexico. It’s not the UK.

MVP is kinda stupid it’s more like ‘start with the 1 seeds and check if there is a qb that hits the stat guidelines for mvp…if no advance to 2 seed and so on’. Josh could go absolutely wild the rest of the way and if the bills end up the 5 seed he won’t get it. Stafford definitely does deserve it at this point but even if he ends significantly behind Josh statistically he’d get it anyway I kinda wish they’d just say f*** it and give it to Myles Garrett who is an incredible defensive player on a terrible team 😂 do the most to prove it’s not just a top seeded qb award

Very interesting, though I'm not sure you named-dropped him, shared a picture of his poster if you didn't want to involve him in the dialogue. I can't speak to why you feel the way you do about Cuba v. America. I haven't visited Cuba, have no plans to, and don't see it as a flip of the coin sort of thing. I do think, though, that some Americans do not like dissenting voices and prefer freedom of speech only when viewed through the prism of imagined elitism---I think that describes you and explains why you see things the way you do.
