  1. Past hour
  2. Biggest disappointment by far. I don’t want to hear it takes time to develop. The bills rotate and platoon DL. He played in SEC against nfl coaches. Beane traded up to take him 9th overall in second round. His pff grades are horrific
  3. Who watches the half time show?!
  4. The refs were not doing well with substitutions, or the play clock, or getting penalties called in a timely fashion. Didn't feel like it was a well called game by the officials either. From the stands there were definitely some missed calls on the saints defense.
  5. Nothing will ever top the run that Up With People had in the 70s and 80s.
  6. This simply is not a scheme problem IMO. The players are in position, they’re not executing.
  7. The offense has been conservative, by design, to keep josh upright. It’s been efficient and at times excellent. Probably need to look at some load management for cook as the season progresses, we’ll see. Zero issues with the offense. the defense has been okay, especially since the fourth quarter of the first game. There’s some areas of concern but I think waiting until week 10 or so before sounding the alarm is prudent given the missing players. If McDermott and co. can’t get this group of players into a strong/great defense then I’ll be severely disappointed.
  8. Because crime would happen all the time. Is this a serious answer? You crack down on the criminals, get them off the street. Not give them cashless bales because zero consequences do nothing. I mean come on. Criminals commit crimes all the time regardless of the law. You know how you prevent them from committing crimes? Stiffer penalties. I mean use common sense. If you're violent criminal and you get arrested, don't suffer any real consequences each time, get let back out on the street....what would motivate them to stop committing crimes? Nothing! You don't get in trouble for doing it. Or if you're a 14 repeat offender, you shouldn't be on the streets at all because you clearly don't respect the law. This is common sense.
  9. plenty more https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/the-science-is-clear-gun-control-saves-lives1/
  10. Every team, but 1 loses once the playoffs start. You can’t win the playoffs in September.
  11. Yep - been saying it all off season. He IS a liability. Should have kept Strong out there when McD benched Tre for one series yesterday. Benford is looking pedestrian too. Our CB's are the issue.
  12. Those that complain here are like the wife that is never happy no matter what you give them and you can't live with them if they go off their meds !!
  13. I think it’s mostly going to be a redshirt year for Landon. Depending if Bosa or Epenesa are back or not next year I assume one will not which will open up a door for him . He’s not a bust still early
  14. I sure hope we can use Max by playoff time, but knowing McD's tendencies I think it is more likely he will want Max to get a "full off season" prior to him starting, unless injuries force our hand.
  15. Very tough game. This is the hardest game up to now. Bills have to come out dialed.
  16. You are not the audience the NFL is trying to capture
  17. Can’t keep blaming the coordinators Gunner. McDermott has handpicked the last 3 or 4 of them. He also has a big say in which players get drafted and how he develops them Mcdermott is the HC ultimately it falls directly on him.
  18. I misread my articles up there. Kennesaw's murder rate is actually much higher than Chicago's. My bad.
  19. I did not dig into the nuances of do you use a TO or not and strategy around it. Usually it’s not a big deal innthe 1st half. for some teams a 3rd and 3 at the opponent 30 vs a 3rd and 8 at opponent 35 coukd mean a FG or not. Some teams offense aren’t good in 3 rd and more than 5.
  20. I think if trubisky started and cook got 30 carries we would’ve beat saints and jets at minimum…probably the dolphins too lol not to take anything away from Josh at all not trying to imply he was a problem in any way yesterday…but cook was absolutely running wild. It was straight up surreal seeing the gameday thread complain about 6 yard first down cook runs haha the few bad offensive drives yesterday both felt like we got away from cook too much and tried to force the ball downfield tbh
  21. And lose every freaking January…. For how many straight years????
  22. The defense is just bad. Bad fundamentals, bad situationally, inconsistent pass rush. The one thing is HAS done well is splash plays. But that's a tough way to live week to week. It simply has to be better. I'd be willing to consider a coordinator change but I doubt it happens.
  23. This is my worry, as I have stated many times here. At a minimum, you have to have capable backup to spell Cook, your offensive driving force, and so far the result says nada. Now I do get it that Beane and McDermott thought Davis should be better than he has showed so far - he showed flashes as a rookie and you expect a jump in production in year 2. But I see a trend now with the older rookies (Kincaid, Davis coming to NFL at age 24), you may get satisfactory result year 1 but not year 2 jump. The optimistic side of me expects that as the season goes along, Davis figures out and overcomes the book that defense have piled based on his rookie season.
  24. I never watch halftime anyway...
  25. I mean, it’s fine to have guys develop without getting on the field. The issue fans have, and it’s fair, is that a 3RD Rounder should be able to help if the players in front of him getting Gameday jerseys are struggling. Instead we have AJ having to gut out an injury, Rousseau apparently playing injured for multiple games now and Bosa on an absurd snap count for a guy they brought in to make sure he’s available for the Playoffs. Rounded out by a largely ineffective 5th Round Pick. Good stuff.
