I take it more as posturing for further negotiations. At which point Khomeini is not going agree to any of it. Not to the extent that Netanyahu is satisfied. Even if they agreed to something, Netanyahu won’t be satisfied until the supreme leader is dead. Which you can’t really blame him for. I knock Trump a lot but don’t think this is an unreasonable critique. Strength is not telling somebody you’re going to kick their ass. Strength is not saying anything and if forced to do so, kicking their ass.

Bengals bungling things up - new rookie contract clause
NoSaint replied to The Wiz's topic in The Stadium Wall
meh. Both are frustrating. I’m not loving a debate between whether it was better to watch Phillip Rivers or Donovan Mcnabb? Just spitballing two good QBs without rings from 20 years ago I think I’d be ok tanking a few seasons in exchange for an appearance. 12-5 and Super Bowl run followed by 5-12 or two 11-6 seasons losing in the divisional? I think probably give me the first -
Trump is a 1st class BS artist. Just listening to his rhetoric I conclude he doesn't have a complete understanding of the facts and figures. But the democrats are suffering from some mental defect. They equate anarchy to democracy and look at anyone working to maintain a civil society as an authoritarian. They act like spoiled children with parents that spent a life not disiplining their child. What it comes down to for me is I dislike Trump less than I dislike the liberal left.

I think they let Tre' run with the 1s out of respect and to let him see for himself that he's not a 1 anymore.

I am surprised, given the love of Doug Flutie in Bills Mafia, that he is not on anybody's list. Don't get me wrong, I do not think he deserves to be there, but I thought someone would suggest he should be there.

President Trump is Quite the 'Deal-Maker'

Ukraine's always been effed. Maybe one day they'll realize that... Iran shot their load. Israel however has more in store if need be. The Constitution's fine. Yes, by rioters. It's starting to resemble the Summer of 2020, which means squashing it quickly is in the best interest of everyone. And you must have missed the previous 4 years. -
Bengals bungling things up - new rookie contract clause

Voided guarantees, now there's an oxymoron. Just give him the standard rookie contract. There wasn't any issue last year with Mims at #18. This seems like a very, very petty battle to pick. -
I think he is here to help develop our DB's

I mean anything is possible, but I really don't think this has much chance of happening without a slew of injuries making it happen personally.

I’m more of the opinion that Iran will be Iran and they can never be trusted. So I don’t out this on Trump. But reading Trumps rhetoric today, he just constantly goes to the biggest threat he has. The boldest language. Yet nobody ever seems to give a crap. As I have said before, you can’t always go all in. People will eventually see most the time it’s bluffing. I’m concerned this will eventually back his ego into a corner and he will make an overly aggressive action to compensate for all the previous threats nobody took seriously. His posturing is eventually going to cost him and us.

It had nothing to do with Bernard being hurt. They were giving everyone a shot with the 1's in a completely open competition. My stance is, like Gunner said, they most likely want Hairston to be that #2 CB. But they don't want to overwhelm him and the other Rookies, who just got the Playbook. So they're starting Hairston out slow and putting White out there for the time being. So his being with 1's now seems more circumstantial. There's lots of guys running with 1's in June that aren't going to be Starter's. Forrest, through circumstance, ran with 1's at times and I think he's a longshot to make the team. I also think, given how he looked last season, they also wanted to test where White is at by putting him against the toughest competition. And the results didn't seem great. I think Training Camp and the Pre-Season are a different animal than Non-Contact June OTA's. I believe even if Tre responded better than he did in OTA's that Hairston is going to run with the 1's in August. I doubly think that given the reports of Tre's performance. I don't want to make it seem like I'm bashing Tre. I am rooting for him and would like to see my penciling him in on the 53 turn to ink. But yesterday didn't seem like he was all that much better. He was in position to make a tip drill pick. But he still was getting beat. All of this to say that I think OP's take that running with the 1's in June secures his spot on the Roster is putting the cart before the horse.
