The WNBA is nothing but a bunch of jealous hoodrat lesbians. The league is totally irrelevant when CC is not there. They are all jealous because she likes male junk, has ACTUAL talent sells out arenas where not a single other player in the dyyke league doesn’t. The refs are atrocious (maybe by design), CC’s coach does nothing and only Sophie Cunningham has stuck up for the Wayne Gretzky of her league. Maybe if CC had her version of Dave Semenko, the thuggish (intentional) behavior towards Clark would stop. What?? Is CC going to have wear goggles, like James Worthy, because they want to take her eyes out like she’s Godzilla threatening their very existence. Truly sad. Jealousy is a powerful emotion amongst the petty women.

Augie, I don’t have the exact numbers, but have read Josh has twice as many consecutive starts as the next starting QB. I know with Josh, he’s had 105 consecutive. What I don’t know is if this includes playoff appearances. The all time leader is still Favre with just under 300.

The Moss class was a shallow RB class with some high end guys but not much depth (another problem with spending a high value asset on him). But the Singletary class there are guys after him who have had some production in the league: Damien Harris, Justice Hill, Tony Pollard, Myles Gaskin our own "best 3rd down back in football" Ty Johnson. And then the next two drafts after the Moss draft... Khalil Herbert, Kenneth Gainwell, Chuba Hubbard, Rhamondre Stevenson, Isiah Pacheco, Kyren Williams, Dameon Pierce, Tyler Allgeier etc.... If you are spending a day 2 pick on a guy you better be getting me a guy who is a cut above that company. And Singletary and Moss were not and never had the skillsets to be.

To make matters worse he ended up with 4 goals.

RB and WR markets are actually insane.
BullBuchanan replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's a wildly unreasonable expectation. Looking at draft history, you're lucky to get 2 starting caliber players from rounds 3+, and both Singletary and Moss were that. In Singletary's class in 2019, 20 RBs were drafted after him and only one, Tony Pollard, has been better. In Moss' class in 2020, 8 RBs were taken after him and he's the best of that group. 90%+ of the time you're getting an RB that is a career backup when you draft in the 3rd+ in the last 10 years. They don't put up the 150+ yard games that both Singletary and Moss have. Make no mistake, I'm not saying they're great, but you're grossly misrepresenting their ability and achievements in comparison to their peers. https://www.drafthistory.com/index.php/positions/rb -

Are Fan Expectations Too High for Keon Coleman?
FireChans replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t agree, but the bottom line is that fan expectations of Keon are so high because the FO made them so high. If Keon was just another second round pick after 1 or 2 OTHER WRs, the expectations of him would be rotational player to starter. Instead, Beane and co basically made him the only true egg in the basket. And that means that fans are not just going to expect a solid or okay player, but at least a very good or great player. -

How many wins do the Bills get without Josh?
folz replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'll admit that how I feel about our WR group is a bit of a projection. I think Keon is going to be very good this year, but I can understand that some are not sold on him. I don't expect Keon to be a #1 WR or anything, just improvement. He had 556 yards and 4 TDs last year. If you prorate the stats to a 17-game year (because he missed 4.5 games last year), he'd be at 756 yards and 5 TDs. That would be without any improvement, just staying healthy. And I think he can definitely improve on where he was at the end of the season, after the injury...or in the first few games of his career. I don't think it's crazy to project Keon to maybe 800-850 yards and 6 TDs. Khalil easily projects for around 800 yards and 5 TDs. [He had 821 and 4 TDs last year] I have always liked Curtis Samuel as a player, but again, I can understand that others are down on him for last year and wonder if he can stay healthy. And I don't expect Palmer or Moore to become someone they are not or haven't been, but imo, they are still an upgrade from Hollins/Cooper (based on snap counts and production from last year, as well as age and athleticism). But all of those guys have proven that they are capable of at least 600-yard seasons with a few TDs. Our RBs and TEs had 1,526 receiving yards last year. So, if Keon and Khalil come in around 800 yards each, and the other three averaged 500 yards each, that would be 4,626 yards (if the RBs and TEs stayed the same). More than Josh has ever thrown for. I'm not saying these are the best receivers he's had, or that Josh will actually reach that lofty number (hopefully we won't need to pass that much), but with how Brady runs the offense and how Josh distributes the ball, this should be a very good unit of weapons overall imo (meaning all units combined: RBs, TEs, and WRs). But, I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out. As to the ranking of our receivers vs. other teams, I don't have the energy to do a full comparison of every team myself, so I Googled it. Unfortunately, I couldn't find too many rankings: I know we don't like PFF, but they have our receivers ranked at #19 (13 teams worse: Seattle, Green Bay, Denver, New Orleans, NY Giants, Las Vegas, Carolina, LA Chargers, NY Jets, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, New England, and Cleveland). https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-2025-receiving-corps-rankings-eagles Mike Clay of ESPN gave Unit Ranking Grades. Not sure how he gets the grades, but he has five teams at 9 (his highest ranking), six teams at 8, two teams at 7, ten teams at 6, three teams at 5, four teams at 4, two teams at 3. He has the Bills WR corps at 6. That means he has 13 teams better than the Bills, 10 teams on par with the Bills, and and 9 teams worse. Provided the Bills aren't the worst of the ten #6 teams, that's pretty much right in the middle as well. [The 9 teams definitively below the Bills in his rankings are: New England, Tennessee, Dallas, Arizona, San Fran, NY Jets, Cleveland, Las Vegas, and Denver.] So, both lists have these same six teams definitively below the Bills (New England, Tennessee, Jets, Cleveland, Las Vegas, and Denver). And at least one of the lists had these ten teams below the Bills (Seattle, Green Bay, New Orleans, NY Giants, Carolina, LA Chargers, Pittsburgh, Dallas, Arizona, and San Fran). So, that is a possible 16 teams below the Bills (depending on who is doing the ranking). Again, it isn't anything definitive by any means, but I think it at least shows that we aren't complete bottom of the barrel. Again, I agree that the Bills' WR group is not a great unit by any means (in comparison to other teams), but I am looking at the overall weapons and how the Bills want to run their offense. We were 49/51 run/pass-split last year. And the offense is about scheming guys open and letting Josh make decisions, rather than forcing the ball to a stud WR. I think our unit is better than last year's unit, and despite passing yards being down overall last season, the offense still scored more points than any previous Bills offense (even with Diggs and Beasley at their peak). I don't know, I may be overly optimistic and you may be overly pessimistic---but hopefully reality will be no worse than the median between us. -
I think Nick Wright should try this game.

They have both started. And been quickly relegated to the bench. If you are going for such low value positions in the first three rounds I expect actual starting level talents. And neither of those guys were.

President Trump has been consistent in his view for over 10 years. Iran must never have nuclear weapons, and the U.S. must not get stuck in regime change / nation building. As he meets with his defense team and state dept., I am confident that this is still his goal. Occupation is not the way this gets done. That's the way we get 20+ more years of endless war. What's happening now is a complete undoing of that policy. The same policy that's allowed the executive branch to accelerate it's creep, that's given the IC and MiC unfathomable and uncheckable power. THEY wanted this war to be fought their way - propping up all sides to ensure a nasty, protracted fight that bleeds us of blood and treasure while they get rich. You don't want that. I know you don't. Nor do I. If you want to end that, this is the way forward. The Iranian people - not small pockets, the vast majority - have been clamoring for our help for nearly 3 decades now. They have to do the heavy lifting, and they want to. But they can't do it as long as our IC and WH keeps propping up the Mullahs. The Mullahs being gone is good for Iran. It's good for the region. It's good for the US. It's good for the world. But it was never going to happen without force. There are monsters in the hills that require brave men to slay them from time to time. That's the world we live in. It's fiction to believe otherwise. It's the "how" that slaying gets done that's the quibble. .

Let’s rank the starting QBs in 2025
transplantbillsfan replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like this idea. One difficult thing to me is separating QB from situation. Are we ranking these guys in a vacuum? Tua in a Bruce Arians style offense might be bottom of the league while I think Allen would genuinely be able to operate at an excellent to Elite level in any offense. I'm going to do my ranking in a vacuum, which I think is more interesting: I'm also not doing 32. I'm not going to do rookies or 1st year players. Where would RG3 have ranked after 2012 vs where he ended up overall? So I guess I'm trying to treat this more holistically vs just last year. 1. Allen (I think he's been the best NFL QB for a few years now) 2. Mahomes 3. Stafford (this one's biased. 2022 version I feel better) 4. Baker (He balls at every stop no matter the situation) 5. Herbert 6. Lamar 7. Burrow (openly hates being under Center... he's scheme specific) 8 Goff 9. Dak (probably underrated and should be higher) 10. Hurts 11. Darnold 12. Stroud (overrated) 13. Purdy 14. Geno. 15. Fields (I really kinda want to put him higher) 16. Tua 17. Lawrence (so overrated) 18. Richardson/Dimes 19. Young 20. Flacco 21. Rodgers 22. Russell Wilson -
