  1. Past hour
  2. Guys: Not sure when there was so much discussion this summer of the synergy between Josh and Palmer, yet not getting targets. The article purports getting the best separation on the team. I was curious as to your thoughts and opinions if you read the article. It’s an easy read and in the main board. Im perplexed as well as I see him separating for defenders. Anyway, we have some sharp people on the board, so feel free to comment if you have some thoughts. Thanks guys as I normally don’t start many threads, but enjoyed the read.
  3. Can't figure out why Wilson is still even the #2 QB. They have Jameis Winston on moth balls. While he's not a great QB either, he's better than Wilson at this stage of his career. And tons more fun to watch
  4. A calm and accurate take, thanks for this. I don't have examples at hand, but many Super Bowls have been won with flawed teams. It's normal to lose games, even to look quite bad for stretches during the season, and still pull it together in the playoffs and win. Even without additions at CB or WR, this team will almost certainly make the playoffs and could even go all the way. But the probability is higher if Beane does make moves to shore up WR and CB. Even Allen can't do much with this mediocre WR corps, and good QBs will continue to feast on Trey White. The Chiefs are looking very dangerous. This franchise cannot absorb a fifth consecutive playoff defeat to Mahomes.
  5. I think you’re thinking of … nobody.
  6. I think the offense has a bounce back game. And I thing for all the worry this week about Robinson, the defense contains him reasonably well. And I don't think Penix is good enough to beat us. Bills 33 Falcons 20
  7. If you call I'll be right with you You and I should be together Take this love I long to give you I'll be at your side forever Call me, don't be afraid, you can call me Maybe it's late, but you call me Tell me and I'll be around
  8. I think we run it al over them. Bills: 29 Falcons: 20
  9. It will be because of coaching that we go 12-5 of 11-6 and lose the 1 seed instead of 14-3 and win it. Like I said before Josh shouldn’t have to be Superman every week for us to win a game. Sometimes the coaching staff has to actually do its job to bail us out and we just don’t have that guy as a HC or DC
  10. Peterman threw a great ball, just to the other team
  11. Ah, the good ol days of TBD.
  12. Maybe Russ was just harkening back to his baseball days, throwing a one-hopper to first base to nab a fast runner. Or maybe Russ was the one who should be getting tested for a concussion. It was easily the worst throw I've ever seen by a QB and I'm old enough to remember all the bad QBs who ever played for the Bills.
  13. Who said he was Jefferson or Metcalf? That was Randy Moss (but Moss was better of course). Branch had injury issues. His full season average was 63/807/5. That’s a good 11 year career. His name, and other Patriot receivers names, came up as a response to, “how many elite separation receivers did Brady and Belichick have?” Lol, the entire Patriots WR room was built with quick guys that ran precise routes. They had good NFL careers BECAUSE of their ability to get open. That’s the skill that the Pats valued most in the pass catchers outside of their superstars (Moss and Gronk). Hope this helps clear the confusion…
  14. Bills 34 Birds of Prey 17
  15. Can two things be true? They checked for concussion and he cleared the protocol. But then he remained in the tent for treatment on his leg and Daboll went to check?
  16. What this thread reminded me off: NOT!!!!
  17. Now Maga can launch jihad with their Muslim buddies right from Qatar base on American soil.
  18. Today
  19. The officials ruined that game, National TV and a pile of borderline penalties. Ridiculous
  20. Is that the one in which McDermott kept punting on fourth down at midfield and kicking field goals, hoping his defense would stop Mahomes, which it never could (or would), instead of trusting Allen and going all out for the win? Or is it the one Allen did win the game in one of the most extraordinary feats of quarterback the league has ever seen, only for McDermott's defense to give it away in a matter of seconds? I'm sure you're not referring to last year's playoff game, when McDermott's defense gave up 32 points. Yes, the team--the defense in particular--has been unprepared to play every time they have faced KC in the playoffs (to say nothing about the loss to Cincinnati). Does anyone want to make the case that this year will be somehow different, with McDermott still in charge of preparing the defense?
  21. When Dart was on the ground everyone watching was trying to figure out what was wrong with him and at one point he started flexing his leg. I thought - that is weird it looked like his head. On the TNF post-game Sherman said to Dart 'that was a veteran move there moving the leg when you were on the ground' and all the ex-players started laughing
  22. We have not seen him yet in tge regular season but I think Michael Hoecht is going to change the entire look of this defense when he comes back after the bye. I think Milano is done and our Lbs at this point need to be Bernard and Shaw Thompson. We can work with that. Our CB’s will need a move by the trade deadline to have any chance of a SB run as Tre is washed. I think Beane knows it and will trade accordingly. We will be ok as we have this number 17 guy that might help us cover up some of these defensive deficiencies by hanging 30 a game. The Pats game felt like an off night.
  23. Russ is washed. Dart is a breath of fresh air for the NFL. Breathe it in, man. The kid is a blast to watch. Just like 17 was before his coaches shut him down and made him be a Manning.
  24. As usual Noggin, you have a measured approach to the Bills and the NFL. We should bounce back in ATL, and then get two weeks for some guys to get healthy as well as add Ogunjobi, Hoecht, and if not Monday, most likely Oliver. That will be a real shot in the arm for this defense. If Hairston is still on IR, we have to trade for a CB. White just can’t do it anymore. Heck I’d rather even see Ingram over White. Carolina should be nothing, and then things get more challenging with the Bucs, Chiefs, and Eagles.
  25. "Two new ones" ("ones?") is also a weak choice. Buscaglia is great; his writing isn't. At least he's human. Pretty soon, it'll all be AI.
  26. If only Daboll had been that anxious to get Dart into the game against the Chiefs…
