Why? We aren't going to give him what he wants. Next offseason it will be more, you can bet on it. Trade him, get something instead of letting him walk. -
I almost had to call once, around 5th grade. I was upstairs playing chess with a buddy, and I hear my sister screaming from down in the kitchen. I run downstairs to find she has started a grease fire trying to make popcorn. (This is before microwaves or Jiffy Pop, for the younger crowd.) The flames are leaping up, but I don’t panic. I run into the dining room and open the sliding glass door and use pot holders to carry this bucket of fire to the dining room and toss it into the back yard. Unfortunately, the screen door was still closed on the slider, and the fire just bounced right back at me and landed on the dining room carpet. OOPS! 😱 🔥 I opened the screen and kicked the pot-o-fire onto the back patio. The good news is it had landed on a remnant of carpet used to wipe our feet, so the doormat was ruined but the carpet was saved.

That's usually my go-to because I just like to hear general opinions about the team without getting too much in the weeds with play-calling and stuff like that. I actually think Talbot is the more knowledgeable of the two, even though (as you mentioned) Parrino has more access.

I would bet that some of these “injuries” are negligible to near nonexistent, just a way to keep guys fresh for the start of the season, its the new normal, jmo.

Beanes comment says it all, this is on Cook. Beane and the Bills have made a fair offer (they always do) and Cook says no. Trade him. Christ. Mr Glass at it again -
Honestly it's a miracle it took this long

Russia Blinks on nuclear saber rattling Good move by Trump. He didn't piss his pants and run away while bawling about World War III and escalation. He simply pushed back with an equal, opposition reaction and suddenly the Russians have nothing to say... So yeah, finally some successful diplomacy, of the gunboat variety.
-
McGovern over Cook is my take too. I think McGovern being able to play center or guard is a big positive too.
-
Could field a whole starting team from that
-
I’m shocked.

I don’t think Cook has much leverage at all. “Holding in” or faking injury are his only plays right now. The former only lasts thru the preseason and the latter is very risky. It could result in suspension, fines or even parting ways. At some point it would rub the team the wrong way and Beane would have to trade or release him. Players understand that business is business, but this locker room wants to win a championship and need people who are on board with that.

Have you ever had to call 911 for anything?
PastaJoe replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
I once saw a car fly off the road at high speed into a field. I stopped to check and it was a middle aged woman who was bleeding from the mouth and slurring her speech. I called 911, and then realized she was drunk as she took another drink from one of the many beer cans in the car. She said she just wanted to leave, put her car in reverse, gunned it, and got stuck in a ditch. Then the police arrived and took over. -

As stated earlier Brady did help carry teams, but he also had years where he was mostly a game manager. He didn't come close to putting up the best numbers, but won multiple super bowls. Allen can never get away with scoring 13 points in a playoff game and coming out on top. He has to be incredible every playoff game for the team to win. Brady didn't have to do that in his early years. Remember they took Matt Cassell to an 11 and 5 record when Brady went down and at the time Cassell hadn't started a meaningful since high school(he was a backup his entire college career). That was phenomenal coaching.

If he let him walk next year Beane would be pretty dumb. Get what you can get for him now, Ray Davis ain’t no slouch.
-
Scares me too, giant headed blue MFer!

They have Achane. The low or no tax states have RBs locked up or will need to soon. Or have a massive QB contract and little cap room. Vegas Miami Jax Atlanta Dallas has drafted - no way they pay RB Houston - Mixon Chargers drafted one Seattle - Walker and Charbonet Cincy - Brown Jets - Breece and Allen Washington - Robinson Rams - Kyren (also looking for a deal) AZ - drafted Benson high Maybe Tennessee would be interested if he wanted to go there. Possibilities with no cap issues Patriots Washington Titans I mean there isn’t really a better situation for him than here.
-
Because it's still way cheaper than $43M/yr to Parsons. Almost half.
-
It will be interesting to see what the Bills do when they move into the new stadium. Will OJ be on the WOF in the new place or will they remove him from it.
-
Cook has a lot of leverage. As much as we all hope Ray Davis, Keon, Palmer or Moore may step up, Cook and Shakir are the only proven quality skill position players on the Bills. That is partly Beane’s fault and so makes playing hardball a bit more tricky. With how good Cook has been over the past two years, despite a couple of drops and not being a good pass protector, I would pay him the $15 mil. Some team will. 2800 yards and 24 touchdowns over the last two years is a lot of production on good efficiency. Not to mention how well he performed this postseason. Maybe the Bills try to wait to see how the season goes, hopefully that works out this year and in the long run.

When the Bills make the SB this year, what’s your go to?
