  1. Past hour
  2. Freaking embarrassing we still have all these holes on D with all the constant investment there. I agree on receiver though. Should’ve been doing this anyway. Give your stud QB weapons and hope the D gets at least a little better by playoffs with the young guys gaining experience and we get Hoecht back from suspension. I’m not expecting Ogunjobi to be anything other than a fence post.
  3. I don't understand why you think that was good protection? Dawkins was pushed about 3-4 yards backwards - a pattern throughout the night - and Josh knew it had been breaking down all night so he felt the need to roll out to his right. It was not "good" protection, and then you need to factor in what Josh had been seeing the whole game.
  4. I'm not happy with the loss but I'm almost numb to it. All that matters are the games in January/February at this point. But I know the issues we see today will prevent us from winning in January if they aren't fixed. 1) Tackling - This should be the most easily corrected 2) CB2 - Hell I'm not even sure Benford is performing at a high enough level but Tre has been absolutely picked on 2 games in a row 3) Penalties - Hochuli had a terrible game yesterday but we still have A LOT to clean up in this area 4) General Offense - The offense is good but Joe Brady didn't call a great game last night, Josh missed some easier reads, WR's struggled to separate. Not quite as high priority for me but a lot of things went wrong at the same time offensively last night and it made a difference.
  5. Yeah, he just doesn’t have a strong game sense yet I feel. He isn’t quick to hit gaps or sniff out misdirections.
  6. Refs had nothing to do with the 3 turnovers. Can't turn it over that much & win.
  7. Shakir is legally allowed to block before the throw is completed if he's within 1 yard of the line of scrimmage. It looked like he was 1.5 yards downfield when he started blocking. Wild that the back-judge threw the flag when he wouldn't have any depth perception on how far downfield Shakir was. By the strictest possible interpretation of the rule it was MAYBE penalty.
  8. ⬆️ Nedboi definitely into some gender bending fun! Not that there's anything wrong with that.
  9. Thought... why couldn't that ****** Diggs play that hard when we faced KC in the playoffs? He was holding back when he played for the Bills. That kind of behavior from a professional athlete burns my britches. His play last night made me angry, still am.
  10. It is possible that we have Hairston, Strong and Hancock all playing parts at some point, and we need it.
  11. I'm going to choose to believe you. I have a hard time seeing 3 more losses on the Pats schedule, but I'm probably being too hot takey on that. They did lose to the Raiders & Pitt, and had a very close one w/ Miami. Unless Allen gets hurt, I do NOT see 5 losses on our schedule. Games get weird, but we should roll to a 14-3/13-4 record in normal circumstances w/ our schedule.
  12. I mean on 2nd down he literally had no options once Cook was taken away by the LB. Scramble drill was the only possible decision there. Looks to me like he is pointing to Kincaid telling him to go left where there is a bunch of open space but Kincaid doesn't pick up on it. 3rd down I can hear the argument that he should have stood there and hit a crossing route for maybe a 5 yard gain. That's at least a legitimate option that was available compared to some of the other suggestions in this thread that are based on nothing. But does that mean you want to erase every Allen scramble right in his career? Because you can't just pick and choose which ones you erase. He doesn't know in advance if it's going to work. So you either let him do it or you remove it from his game entirely. Considering the proper result of this play should have been a 1st down yes I am happy to say that even with the benefit of hindsight telling me the actual result, I would still rather he scramble right to try and create a 1st down instead of bringing up maybe 4th and 5 and seeing what happens.
  13. Coaching & front office negligence is the issue, still. Clock mismanagement (letting 40 seconds run off the clock before first timeout used, going for a TD instead of going for a first down to bleed more clock before trying the tying FG or for a game winning TD). Secondary can't cover, and they still keep playing the same guys every week. We spend draft assets on defense and it never seems to get better. Most WRs can't separate either.
  14. 1) Bench Taron Johnson. 2) Get the penalties under control. 3) Somehow get the missed tackles under control. But I don't see how. 4) Use the running backs in the passing game. The Bills were the best team in the league last year at that. Now they never do it. Not one target to a running back against the Pats. 5) Play Shaq Thompson more. He is their best linebacker. Williams has been terrible this year. He gets fooled on every play, has no feel for coverage, and makes way too many mistakes.
  15. Top realistic thing we can do this week is heal up our injured guys and get Larry O and 55 up to speed as fast as possible.
  16. I remember the exact play. Receiver was about 15 yds away from Maye, Maye tosses ball at the turf 5 yds away.
  17. I felt that too. The NFL doesn't want a bunch of meaningless week 18 games again. If they can keep divisions and playoff races close, they get an extra week of playoff ratings.
  18. i mean its fair to question the design on that second down play that he threw away imo not only are the routes just kind of run into coverage but nobody's even looking back for the ball at the top of Allen's drop the only options there are checkdown to cook or some kind of slow developing deep shot into that 2deep look 😂😂i think once you hit the '11 second mark' it's pretty safe to assume there arent a lot of right answers anymore
  19. I think Prater has really proven himself. I think he has had one bad kick since he's been here. I just have more confidence when he comes out there to kick. His kicks are usually right down the middle or close to it - Bass's kicks always seem to fade right.
  20. Number of Maye 300 yard games - applying early criticism of Josh Allen rules: ZERO Number of games with more then 2 TD passes ZERO Not saying he isn’t good. But I’m not participating in the NFL’s narrative at the moment due to how ***king ridiculous that was last night.
  21. I want to know if there is a way to minimize mental errors to reduce valid penalties a coach can coach all day but what the player does on the field isn't on coaching perse in that moment of foul is it? Is it?
  22. I found myself wanting Mack Hollins back this morning
  23. Yeah. I guess that's a good point. I do watch a lot of football and most QBs look pretty poor to me most of the time now. Definately poor by Josh Allen standards, but the QB play in the NFL is not that great right now, honestly.
  24. I don’t know about a must win. What I do know is that these night games are wearing me down like my Saturday night wine issues.
  25. It was 100% the right throw. Even if he felt the pressure from the back he could have taken a step to the right and kept his eyes right then planted and led Samuel into the endzone... Even still there is a spot during his scramble when his has his arm cocked and loaded...Samuel and Shakir are both wide open and he does not pull the trigger... It's at the 11 second mark...
