Why? Cousins wouldn't help the Bengals because he's a pocket passer with minimal mobility at his age. He would be lucky to last longer than Burrow behind that Bengals OL. IMO, Burrow's injury simply hides how bad the Bengals team were likely to be in 2025 even if he'd played all season. They have a really bad OL, no running game, and a poor defense. They wouldn't look as bad with Burrow, but would likely struggle to get 10 winds.

Game week thread - Pats at Bills SNF
Not at the table Karlos replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
They’ve played 3 of the worst QBs in the league and allowed 8.2 yards a rush in the ravens game. If the ravens wanted to pass they could have. -
Evaulation (of this team) after a quarter of season gone
Pete replied to ganesh's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills are 4-0, and in the drivers seat for 1st seed and Super Bowl. Bills beat teams they were supposed to win. We played down to opponents. Third down lack of stops is even a worse problem than last year. Defense cannot stop the run. Does Beane still think we are all set at WR? Zero impact yet from 1st round pick, 2nd round selection meh, third round selection cannot get a jersey. Thankfully we got Walker and Hawes later in the draft. Did Beane screw up the first 3 rounds again? What trade does Beane make? Bills D needs help. RB and WR depth needs upgrades. Cook has been amazing. Davis has regressed, and it was stupid for him to lose weight. Backup RB is a major need now. Josh is getting better all of the time. We are incredibly blessed to have him as our QB. Babich has been unimpressive. Does McD step in and try and salvage our D? Joe Brady’s play calling is atrocious and predictable. You have Josh and Cooks, and still cannot come up with a clever 4th and short play. I’m not impressed with Joes Vanilla playbook and unimaginable play calls. Are we the worst tackling team in the NFL? We just set a record for allowing the most rushing yards after contact, against the lowly Saints. Stay Healthy Buffalo. Hoecht cannot get here soon enough. Go Bills! -
Hard not to miss the connection with the two terrorist like attacks and the Iraq War, or War Against Terrorism. George Bush's war has come home. The Michigan killer had been a proud Marine who served honorably and bravely but look at his life after the war. He worked hard but had low status jobs. The North Carolina shooter had all sorts of injuries including a head injury. According to this study vets of the Iraq War were 60% more likely to be negatively involved with the criminal justice system. https://www.research.va.gov/currents/0820-Veterans-with-PTSD-more-likely-to-have-justice-system-involvement.cfm

Phins Perspective on the Hill Injury
Bills!Win! replied to ROCBillsBeliever's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is infuriating that during the drought we would blame our losses on injuries. Now we have 3 starters out and everyone says they don’t make a difference and that we should’ve won 48-7 -
The biggest negative of this is now we can’t trade for him.
-
Let's Go Yankees. Let's Go Bills.
-
You ….you….are missing perspective. Bills aren’t some non playoff team coming out hot against a bunch of crap….They are a perennial SB contender doing what they have been doing for five years…They can’t help their schedule…and the Ravens are disorganized….not junk.

What fun would that be? How boring.

I don't love it, I find it hypocritical to an extent. You should be able to be allowed to say what you want without fear of reprisal, but employment contracts in the internet age have subtly stolen that right from average Americans. I blame lawyers, mostly. In reality though, I think a lot of folks on the right feel that their side has been way more often than not on the losing side of this experience, and think that turnabout is fair play. I also think that we should probably stop calling everyone we disagree with a Nazi, as it dilutes the power of the word and lessens the memory of the holocaust. Commie too, but that one carries much softer connotations for me (I actually am friends with one, misguided but a good dude). I also really hate to see people on both sides cutting off friends and family over politics. I think it's the result of the political class duping the populace into loating each other instead of them. But what do I know? -
I hate the Dolphins since the 70s and Tyreek and Joe Mixon are the two athletes I cannot stand. Karma is a B word Tyreek

Some of these kinds of stats can be a little misleading though. When you're one of the worst in the league in giving up rush yards it will affect how teams attack you. Then the question is are the Bills actually very good defending against the pass or are opposing teams just not bothering to pass as much against Buffalo because it is so easy to run on them?

Phins Perspective on the Hill Injury
FireChans replied to ROCBillsBeliever's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bizarre take. Just totally out of left field. We had like 20 years of lifeless football to watch. I don’t think anyone who lived through that doesn’t realize how much better it is now. To relate all of that to the Tyreek Hill injury is just absurd though -
I feel bad for them. The injuries are frustrating especially with the salary cap preventing teams from having decent backups.

Evaulation (of this team) after a quarter of season gone
GunnerBill replied to ganesh's topic in The Stadium Wall
Think this is a fair summary. I think people are a little quick to forget Knox at tight end and he is still playing an important role for them this year (and is blocking just as well as Hawes by the way) but I take the point that his continued presence as a Buffalo Bill beyond 2025 is a big question mark given there is no way at all he plays on his 2026 cap number. -
The Ravens will be 1-6 and their fans will be like “Lamar is the real MVP”
-
I love how you put Acuna, Baty, Mauricio and Vientos all under Definitely/Maybe. I don't think they should dump all of them or keep all of them, but they can't go into next year with all of them again. I'm inclined to see what Acuna can do full time at second - love his defense and speed. And I really don't want to give up on Mauricio but I'm also not ready to hand him 3B.
-
Poor Tyreek.......only impregnated 3 women on that play.

Is Hawes in the process of surpassing Knox as TE2??
GunnerBill replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
He hasn't. I posted them above. Knox leads Bills tight ends in snaps. Positional splits for the year: Hawes - 90 of his 108 snaps have been inline, 16 in the slot and 2 split wide; Knox - 96 of his 145 snaps have been inline, 29 in the slot, 17 split wide and 3 in the backfield; Kincaid - 51 of his 134 snaps have been inline, 55 in the slot, 28 split wide; That shows you how the three guys are used pretty differently. They use Kincaid primarily as a matchup weapon in the passing game, the use Knox as a versatile chess piece who can play in multiple packages and they use Hawes really as an inline blocking tight end who occasionally will chip then leak out. They are not really fighting one another for snaps. Their usage game by game is more about gameplan and personnel packages. -
