Everybody watched them beat the Chiefs yesterday because the Bills weren't on at the same time, and it was the national game. But a lot of people here boycott Thursday Night Football, so they missed the Broncos' EPIC 10-7 win over the Raiders the week before, when Nix went 16-28, 150, 1TD, 2INTs. Against the Raiders. At home. The fact is that there are no teams without critical weaknesses that deserve being labeled a "beast" this year.

I won't say ball control but play a mistake free game. Houston has trouble scoring so don't gift them with INTs and fumbles, that might be the only way they win. -
Shaq to the Bernard's spot, Bernard to Milano's spot, Dorian to rush in and stop the run. Then you could bench Milano. (Run a 3-4 D like they did in the second half yesterday). When I suggested this to Bills customer service they laughed at me. So doubt it happens.

Yeah, we should have an intimidating D in this climate,,,instead they are soft as can be. On ESPN Get UP this morning the guys were laughing and clowning on the Bills run defense. They yucked it up pretty good. The one guy on set was laughing that he had to google Sean Tucker to find out who he was?! I will admit though, Baker is a terrible matchup for us. These QBs that can move around and convert 3rd downs with their legs just kill us. So we are consistent...we can't stop the conventional runs up the middle, we can't stop the Derrick Henry style downhill running to the edge, and we can't stop QB's from running and converting 3rd downs.

Regardless of your thoughts on Stroud and Rodgers, they are definitely better than Mills and Rudolph. That’s why they are unquestioned starters. -

We aren’t stopping anyone. The last thing we need is to get in a spot where on the last drive they can go down and beat us. Our only shot is to blow them out. Gotta get up 2 or 3 scores. Block it up and let Josh and cook make plays -

I said that in th around the NFL thread. They are getting a ton of breaks this year -
LB will either be one of our top 2 selections or we will be taking 2 in the middle rounds. I’m sorry but the smallish LBs have to go they don’t need to be 240-250 but 230-240 would be nice. We are also going to have to start looking for Taron Johnson’s replacement because he is falling off a cliff too. I think this is why they were tied to Carson Schwesinger so much leading up to the draft and everyone was like why??? It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if we have another very heavy defensive draft again. I do expect a WR though at some point in the first 3 rounds.

Teef: You're on ignore, but people are quoting you a lot it seems. I also can't tag you as I've informed you multiple times. If you don't like not being tagged, ask Simon to lift the ban and I'll be more than happy to tag you often. Also blame chigoose, The King. He got triggered by being tagged TOO MUCH, complained and found a sympathetic mod in Simon to his plight of logging in and getting too many notifications. And here we are with you complaining about not being tagged at all. Nice. I have two kids.

We need to play this game like we have played the jets. no turnovers, very conservative on offense, let Houston make the mistakes. they have an elite defense and nothing on offense. Our ST and defense should be winning this game. -
Shaq-Bernard and Williams

Sure but I’d rather go Indy in Round 1 or NE than face Baltimore who is a terrible matchup for us. Our playoff success against them has been as a home team. In this scenario we would be on the road. To be fair, the Bills still stand a good chance of winning the division so this might not matter. Sure Denver defensively looks awesome but do people forget we put a 40 burger on this same great defense last year. Maybe we don’t do that this year but if still expect 27 or so which should, should with emphasis, beat a Bo Nix Broncos led team

I went to the Bills vs Texans game a few years ago when it was a pouring cold rain the entire day. Davis Mills started. The Texans intercepted Allen on the first pass of the game. Then the Bills won 41-0. Houston embarrassed Allen and the Bills last season. I like Buffalo in this spot...they will remember, but the Texans D is tough. In my mind last week, I had us beating Tampa and then splitting the Houston and Pittsburgh road games. Hopefully we get this one.

McDermott needs to have this team ready to go on short rest. Margin for error is gone if they want to win division and compete for the # 1 seed. Offense needs to limit turnovers and on defense figure out how to limit these big runs which continue to kill team. In the offseason need to get bigger and physical on the front 7 tired of seeing undersized defense get pushed around all over the place. -

Agreed, but I kind of feel the super dink and dunk passing game we had seen was more due to personnel issues. McD's philosophy for years has been jump onto a lead early. If Palmer, Davis, and Hardman really opened up the offense like how it looked yesterday, we may see a more aggressive (but still balanced) offense.
