Terrel Bernard needs to blitz more. When he became the starter at MLB 2 years ago, he was very good as a blitzer, be it immediate or delayed. Last year he did less and less of that, and we used him in coverage more. Which he has shown to be decent in coverage. When Bernard blitzes, as he did today, he causes havoc in the backfield. The Bills need to use him this way more often.

Augie we could end the thread with this snarky gem. Concur LOL oh my

We didn't bring him here to play contain, we brought him here to rush the passer which he's done. Babich needs to be aware of his skill set and stop leaving him on an island. It was shocking the number of outside runs where Bosa was the only player in the way of Kamara picking up chunk yardage. That is just not putting him in any kind of position to succeed. Yeah Van Demark missed his block. But you don't call that play unless you know the RT can execute the pull. Again this comes down to coaching putting their players in a position to succeed. And even if it was Spencer Brown I still would have hated that play call. That series featured three straight plays where neither Allen or Cook touched the ball. That's a gift to the opponent. Sanders popped a bit today as well. Nothing that shows up on the stat sheet but he had a couple quick wins that impacted the play. He is definitely still figuring it out and is behind Walker in his development, but I'm glad they're letting him get the reps now and not pulling him for like Jordan Phillips. When Oliver comes back healthy I get pretty excited about what that group could look like. Hopefully Hoecht gives us some legit pass rush ability because that spot opposite of Bosa has been practically non-existent through 4 weeks.

It was a transcendent moment for him when he started clapping and the entire locker room started clapping along in rhythm with him. After all these years as coach, he's finally coached up all the Assistant Coaches and the front office staff to clap along with him. One of the truly great moments of his career. And it took a win against the New Orleans Saints to do it.

it hasn't been really discussed much. I imagine it will be tomorrow. McDermott benched him hmmmmm

Thats how 2-4 losses become 5-7 losses.

Standing on the water, casting your bread While the eyes of the idol with the iron head are glowing Distant ships sailing into the mist You were born with a snake in both of your fists while a hurricane was blowing Freedom just around the corner for you But with truth so far off, what good will it do?

yet another guy who got a new contract and not living up to it.

how much did we all worry when we saw Benford go down in the 4th quarter. and right back in. Hallelujah! and the Punter being wrecked oh my goodness. and comes back into the game to hold. Unbelievable. Real men play NFL football . I have huge respect for the amount of abuse their bodies take. Codrington was a healthy scratch. I found an article relating toi the decision https://heavy.com/sports/nfl/buffalo-bills/bills-brandon-codrington-benched-uncertain-future/

Pats have speed and it looks like they were doing a good job of spreading the field and opening things up plus there was always a good dump off player waiting for maye to take advantage of. I thought there offense looked pretty clean and in sync.

Keeping the score to under 20 points is always good enough for a Josh Allen led offense. The issue that continues to plague this team is its ability to stop the run and get off the field on 3rd and longs. -

I missed the first half of the game. Can someone tell me who was scratched in place of Samuel and was it a healthy scratch or were they injured? -

Funny to think MLB has been taken steps to speed up games & limit the amount of time spent dragging on, but now we're here wanting the NFL to go the opposite direction & add more time to things. They already had a way to limit ties for many years, and it was sudden death OT. First score wins, that's it. But then many great games came to an abrupt end & people felt cheated that way, so they finally changed it in 2010 (for the playoffs) & the sudden death only applied if the starting offense scored a TD on their opening drive. That was expanded to the regular season a couple years later, followed by shortening OT from 15 mins to 10 mins, and it remained that way until.... you guessed it, the Bills vs Chiefs playoff game where Allen sat on the bench the whole time. Guess it just depends on what you prioritize. If you want fairness, you probably prefer what we have now. If you prefer having a winner no matter what, sudden death (most often decided by a coin toss) gets you that result more consistently. Shortened quarters also help with player safety, but also open up the chance for a tie. I like it how it is now, but I can understand why others wouldn't. What I really DON'T like is the suggestion we go to college OT rules. I hate how that can inflate stats way too much. You can have players put up more TD passes in OT than they did the entirety of regulation. It would warp records way too much. -
We saw him at Bar Bill with his family on Saturday. I hope that helps you find him 😋 We also saw Poyer next door getting carry out.

I think Cook may suffer how Lamar does with MVP. With Cook, Josh will get a lot of credit for the boxes he sees. Puka and JT are playing out of their minds with less support.

F those players😅😅

I know that actually felt weird to type first time I ever did lol But the players call him that and he's eating so I'll give it to him I agree tho

Ravens vs Chiefs Game thread (the Bills lamp is lit)

I don't doubt that he isn't a little beat up. Oliver knocked the crap out of him. The Lions smacked him around. And the Chiefs were doing the same. However, if you can stand and throw, you stay in the game. To me, and I could be wrong, I think he got frustrated and succumbed to an injury that most would play through. I'm very curious to see how this plays out with his teammates. -
I see nothing but personnel problems. Slow. No CB2. Taron has lost a step. We stink against the run. Our safeties feature a solid 22 year old athlete still learning, and an average slow vet who at least knows what he’s doing he’s just slow. The D line is a case of quantity is not better then quality. And it’s unfair to ask 2 rookies to make a significant impact at least now. Daquan is not as good. And AJ is just Chris Kelsey. Bosa is still awesome. Rousseau is solid. Ed is important. And that’s that. Against good olines and QBs we look below average to bad. Good enough to win 11-13 regular season games means nothing to me when we go into the playoffs and all I’ll be thinking is Josh needs to be Superman or team that has the ball last wins. Currently this unit isn’t close to the 2019-2023 defenses McD had. Not fast. Not physical. And we’ve poured a lot of draft capital into it since 2022. What it does have is a good collective IQ - TB, CB, Tre, Rousseau, Rapp, Bishop, and Milano - all high football IQ guys.
