  1. Past hour
  2. he damn well better not get resigned.
  3. Just not enough play makers on offence, the lack of speed is a big reason why Allen has to hold on the ball so long and tonight he got beat up for it
  4. I put my vote in.
  5. Who’s this Bosa guy?
  6. At this point I would rather they wait until the season is over. Less chance of some other lame duck getting promoted on the team and staying on next year just because he got some wins toward the end of the season. More chance they actually look for a real coordinator this time.
  7. So what is he supposed to do? Throw a quick 2 yard checkdown to Knox or Gilliam in the flat repeatedly? No one gets open on this team downfield, even in the intermediate range. For the most part Josh had no time tonight, and even if he had it's not like our receivers ever get open 5 yards past the line of scrimmage. He could've taken those short yardage check downs all game and it wouldn't have made an iota of difference. You can hardly blame Josh for occasionally looking to pop a big play, because everyone and their brother knows our offense requires a very particular set of circumstances in order to be effective. Operating with our pop gun philosophy and inferior personnel is futile
  8. I'll stop you right there. Beane has failed.
  9. It makes no difference anyways. Home or away they have consistently been eliminated six straight seasons. The positives are that the schedule should be easier and New England will have to play more division winners next year. That will be fun.
  10. I agree but if the D can not rise to the occasion and you must have exceptional offensive performances every week regardless of the game site or opponent then the Bills need to build a roster like Cincinnati where they go all in on offense at the expense of the D. And before people say that the Bengals will miss the playoffs 3 straight years that was mostly because of Burrow's injuries and injury related slow starts. With Allen being healthy I'm quite confident that with the Bengal's WR's not only do the Bills make the playoffs the last 3 seasons they win a SB or two.
  11. They don't have a lot of heart, though. Haven't you noticed how, on virtually every game this year, the other team clearly wants it more?
  12. 100% agreed. Those losses will be the back breaker imo.
  13. 😂 PS, sounds like Jim was going off tonight.
  14. Well, silver lining is if we clinch a WC spot early but can’t win the division, maybe we rest guys so that we aren’t the 5 seed lined up to play the Ravens. Would rather play one of the other division winners in Round 1, and then if we won as the 6 or 7 seed, we’d likely then play whomever the 1 seed is.
  15. This is why Buffalo will never be taken seriously as a sports town. Most of the fans accept losing and mediocrity. If this were NYC, Boston, LA, Philly, SF, etc. McD and Beane would have been run out of town years ago.
  16. If they had no heart they would have played dead in late 3rd quarter when so many "fans" said to just give up.
  17. I agree that drive the Texans had before the half after the long kick-off return cannot happen, but it just seems like Babich went to prevent D and we all know how that ends. Overall our pass rush was trash and Bills just don't have the talent in their secondary to hold up with no rush
  18. Obviously there was a chance they could have converted, but again 35 net yards. They did an extremely poor job moving the ball against our defense in the second half. So no, I don't think they would have been super successful even if they had needed to be more aggressive.
  19. It will always have some level of fun involved with watching a Bills game to me. But after many years it does get draining. After going through the early 90s, everything in between, to this just feels really sad to me. The Josh Allen story will be a tough one to talk about and look back on if they can't win a SB. They can't even get to one with the current gm, head coach. Change is desperately needed, but hope of that happening is low
  20. For reference that was on the 4th and 1 run to Cook that got stuffed when Brady decided to run Cook 4 straight plays and don't get the 1st down...
  21. The knox number hurts, definition of an albatross of a contract. And i never thought taron Johnson would be a bad contract but he has an argument to get benched this season. Well let's just be honest this whole list of names hurts.
  22. Maybe if he was a Football guy and didn't also own the Sabres. He's spent literally decades (22 years) going through countless coaches and GM's trying to find one that could so much as get them to the Playoffs. I don't think that isn't a major key to his reluctancy to pull the trigger for unknowns with the Bills. Beane and McDermott are literally the only hires that have ever won for him in multiple sports.
  23. John elway didn't win his Super bowls till he was 37 and 38 Josh still is hitting the prime of his career as a professional quarterback He has so much to grow with his reading defensibility and quick release.. he's not even at his peak I always said Josh at 30 is going to throw 50 touchdowns Let's see if we surround him next year and let him cook.. right now it's going to be a grind Thankfully we could score semi easily on the Chiefs and we're not seeing Houston's defense anytime soon with two stud corners and a crazy pass rush Even in the playoffs we're probably not getting that
