  1. Past hour
  2. Bills look good to get through the AFC this year. I am looking at the Eagles game as the real test. See ya in December.
  3. Let's put this in perspective; the folks who come to this forum are not the target audience for halftime show entertainment. We're football fans. The target audience is aimed at the (mostly) younger crowd who are primarily into the party, commercials and the overall spectacle that surround the Super Bowl. That group frequently has little to no interest in the game. They're the same people who'll be non-stop talking, scrolling through Tik-Tok, taking selfies, and double-dipping with chips for 4 hours. 😊
  4. Take away the second quarter, and that game is fine. But the INT, penalties and poor field position just made it a hard watch.
  5. So some how with the disproportionate amount of draft and salary cap resources we have spent on the D in the past few years we have been able to select players with poor tackling skills? Is that what you are saying? It is not only the defensive and play calling which our Head Coach is clearly responsible for. Was our Head Coach at all influential in the defensive players we drafted and signed?
  6. You think the Head Coach is to blame for tackling? I am not sure I agree with could "easily have lost" I never felt we would lose yesterday or vs Miami. Baltimore, sure. But the defense does suck. It has made some exceptional plays - Oliver in the opener, Bishop last night.... but it's fundamentals have been woeful. And some of the defensive playcalling is mystifying. I'm not saying it is all on Bobby Babich but the Bills have never had this level of 3rd down issue until he became DC. At some point you have to hold him accountable.
  7. I'd go QB - B+ RB - A+ OL - C- OC - C DL - B- LB - C DB - C DC - D+ McD - C+
  8. My take is we’re gonna lose next week. With the current standings, our opponents to date have a combined 3-15 record. Our thrilling opening night comeback vs B’more turns out to be just like the last 3 games. Very flawed teams who woulda/coulda/shoulda won! Ravens are now 1-3 on merit and now Lamar is hobbled. The Pats* are 2-2 and just had a dominating victory over Carolina. Drake Maye is more polished than Josh was in his sophomore season. “HIM” had a TD & over 100 yrds receiving. They already know they’re the only team in the Division who can rival the Bills and we’re not even in October! They annihilated the Panthers as a tune up for Buffalo while showing the League they are legit! They know the chump change we’ve escaped tell the story WE also know. That we have an all-timer at QB, an impressive RB and 51 Jimmy’s and Joe’s who are easily fooled and allow their opponents to gouge them all day, choosing only to defend the deep third. They know we suck at tackling and playing Man in coverage and only Bosa is a threat to disrupt the pass. Yesterday showed more about how bad the Aints are than the perceived good the Bills are. Go ahead Sean. Sit good players who CAN go -if needed, again. If Allen was bummed the last time the stadium emptied out in the 4th quarter, he’s in for a shock next week. It’s likely gonna look like the Covid year -imo.
  9. Definitely don't do that one. A Davis play is like waving the white flag. Dennis Allen? He is the DC in Chicago. Brandon Staley is the defensive coordinator for the Saints.
  10. 1st quarter Josh was unstoppable. The Saints figured it out and started changing things up. The simulated and real pressures Dennis Allen dialed reminded me of what Spags does to us. I think there are many of us who have taken Spencer Brown and his development for granted. You could CLEARLY see he was missed yesterday. I hope he's not out for an extended period of time. Our defense continues to get gouged, guys are out of position on many plays, and the pass rush is nonexistent. We can't continue to survive like this. In the end, a win is a win. Still, it was most unimpressive and we easily could have taken the L.
  11. Is expecting a 3rd round pick to sit the bench, he’ll, not even dress a quarter of the way through the year acceptable? Terrible draft pick once again. They win despite their coaching and GM.
  12. Agree with these two. That was Bishop's best game of the year and the interception was incredible. Big for the Bills because Taylor Rapp has had a really rough start to the year and their safety play does concern me. But on the flipside my patience has just about expired with Dorian Williams. It's a shame because I liked that pick and he is a physical specimen who can run and hit but he loses too many reps between the ears. I am not saying cut him but this is not the guy who long term succeeds Matt Milano. The Bills will have to go back to well and try and draft that next spring (somewhere in the mid rounds ideally).
  13. @ExWNYer @SinceThe70s @Another Fan Well, fellas … ouch. I still believe in Stearns and expect him to make some necessary decisions. We need to get younger and - obviously - better. I don’t care who stays or goes. There is no place for nostalgia or soft spots. I do, however, hope Mendoza is retained. That said - if there’s someone better and available, I’d never poo pop an upgrade. Should be a good off season. It was fun to follow the season with you guys. Looking forward to doing it again in 2026. LFGM
  14. He doesn't play Special Teams. And obviously between what we saw during the Pre-Season (yikes) and what we haven't seen in Practice - they feel what they're seeing doesn't warrant playing him over Javon Solomon. Really as simple as that. If what we saw from him in the Pre-Season were an anomaly and he looked like he was someone who would be an upgrade of any kind in Practice, he'd be active. The fact that he isn't really says all that needs to be said. Way too early to say that. But he's obviously very green and needs more developing than we were expecting. I will say though if you were someone who was expecting a Superstar, especially right out of the gate, from the kind of caliber prospect that you find at the Defensive End position in Round 3 - you were setting yourself up for disappointment.
  15. Hey, we’re 4-0, let’s find something to B word about! SMDH….
  16. That NFL, playing to its base as usual.
  17. Or no lights at all. My son just played a game a lackawanna and they had no lights. Thought they were going suspend the game for darkness at 7pm.
  18. Yep. And a false start. He was poor last night. Two penalties, two bad FG snaps, whiffed block. I think this might be his last year.
  19. It's ironic that churches in America are at far greater risk of violence than they are in Iran... Americans cannot face the possibility that there are more organized political goals behind domestic terrorism... They cling to the lone nut narratives in order to avoid the implications of what a closer examination might reveal... The song remains the same...
  20. This halftime show is going to bomb big time! Who the hell wants to listen to wanna be rapper in spanish! Terrible half time show. Let’s alienate about 70 percent of your audience. Screw the nfl.
  21. I can't find what I said in here.... but I didn't love the pick, that's true. I think some of the reasons I didn't still sort of apply. He is another 3 tech, the plays he has made so far have been primarily lined up there and while I have been pleased with his impact (he has been better than I'd have predicted off the bus, no doubt) it does mean we have a bit of a logjam at the 3 tech position without an answer long term at the 1. The good news is he looks MUCH more like the guy on the 2023 film than the guy who played for Kentucky last year. He is moving much better.
  22. If you look like crap for 3+ quarters of a game and still pull it out at the end and win by double digits against a bottom dweller……. You call it Crushing…… I call it underwhelming and clearly not good enough come January. Mama always said, Stupid is as stupid does
  23. I love the Jays but I feel like the division win will be hollow once they lose the ALDS. They wont be able to keep up with the Yankees bats. Especially if Vlad doesnt step it up a bit.
  24. The SB Halftime Show, once a decent 15 minute piece of entertainment, has finally reached the bottom of the barrel. A dude who calls himself "Bad Bunny" Can't say I've heard the first song. But from looking at him, I'd guess he attended the Diddy parties.
  25. It’s time for a new long snapper. Rams last year ran over Reid last year and that was the winning play against us. He had two bad penalties yesterday, and a bad long snap
  26. I got roasted in earlier weeks for criticizing Bosa, and I'm not proud to say I was correct—pass rusher = Yes! Stopping the run on the edge = Horrible (but why the surprise? This has been the case all season). The replay showed Van Demark tripping on someone's foot just before he was to lay the block on that play. If he gets that block, Shakir gains a bunch of yards. It's a good play design, just not executed. Walker and Hawes have been the highlights of the '25 draft.
