  1. Past hour
  2. I was and am still high on him. I wanted him at the beginning nice all other receivers because of his speed. Obviously we don’t know how to use WR’s
  3. Username checks out
  4. Beane is in dire need of a FA win or two on offense. McGovern, Edwards, that's it.
  5. The fact that he has Moore's number, took Moore's job and has a similar skill set to Moore makes me a bit nervous. I guess will find out if it's the player not doing their job or if their supervisor wasn't putting them in a position to do their job I fear the latter
  6. Elijah Moore has a career passer rating of 65.7 when targeted. His last year in Cleveland was 44.5, with us it was 49.1. That is about as bad as it gets. As a point of reference Mack Hollins who is the definition of a JAG has a career passer rating of 95.6 when targeted. I'm surprised by how many Elijah Moore truthers still exist on this board. He simply isn't a good player. I don't know if people are still holding onto their draft opinion of him or what. He had a couple years where his draft status earned him forced targets that artificially raised his production. Over time players like that always see their production regress to what their skill set actually deserves. It's not so different from Keon Coleman in his first year and a half here, and we saw how quickly that fell off once it became apparent that he couldn't be trusted.
  7. That is assuming Josh gets more than .03 seconds to throw
  8. I think you know why. lol But they could have put 3 speed guys, 1 decent rout runner and a good jump ball guy on the field at one time and throw to the mismatch.
  9. He was a malcontent with the Jets, average with the Browns. It was worth the one year prove it deal he signed here, but there's a lot of WRs like him, he doesn't stand out.
  10. May I simplify things? Play complementary football = "create momentum and maintain it." When the defense makes a stop, drive down the field and score. When the offense scores, make a stop on the other end. If Special Teams pins the the opposing team deep, convert it into a 3 and out, then score when you have good field position. We haven't done enough of that. It's not just coach speak. Both sides of the ball keep letting each other down. It feels like any time we're gaining momentum, we shoot ourselves in the foot on one side of the ball or the other.
  11. Yeah I’d actually consider dressing Coleman instead of Samuel so that Samuel doesn’t get hurt and screw us up for next year. And this is from a guy who would have had Coleman out of here “yesterday.”
  12. In college...definitely not out of the realm of possibility he goes to Penn State
  13. Here’s my thought. I love Josh Allen as our QB. Get him a legit WR1 in this upcoming draft. Quit bargain shopping for WRs who are washed, never were good, etc. Don’t stop with just a WR1 either. Get him maybe one or two more WRs. Beane really F’d this up.
  14. The ignorance exhibited by Beane and McDermott regarding the real underlying issues they have created for this team remind me of a drug addict hooked on crack cocaine, refusing to admit they have a drug problem. Terry Pegula represents the parent of the addict, refusing to admit their kid has a drug addiction problem.
  15. So Joe Brady and his 5 man protection got his two offensive tackles and his QB on the injury report and he may be without his OT's this week. So not only are we not winning on the field but we are putting our franchise QB at risk and our $50M tackles potentially out
  16. Steelers have struggled badly against the 4 Verts concepts and have been burned repeatedly by them for big plays. Would not be surprised to see him used in this way against them this week.
  17. This is a pretty tough season to swallow our usual "play down to the competition" losses, because the AFC was so wide open and we managed to beat both of our main nemesis' (Ravens and Chiefs) which would give us the tie breaker over both. I think the schematic criticisms and lack-of-talent criticisms are pretty well founded, and with all the injuries stockpiling up we're now in the midst of watching what's basically a "dud" year in Josh Allen's prime. Our coordinators feel like dead men walking. Recent draft picks range from "TDB" to "99% bust". Can't imagine why people are morose right now, lol.
  18. We lost these four games but not because those teams are drastically different than who we thought they were. It’s not like the Commanders going from pick 2 to the NFC Championship game. New England improved. I still think we split with them which wasn’t a crazy thought. The Texans are a little easier than they’ve been and they’ve been good. At Houston was always a coin flip. Atlanta and Miami are bad teams that you lost to. When you looked at the schedule last year those should have been wins. They aren’t losses because those teams are better than we thought. The Bills played poorly. The schedule look ahead isn’t pointless imo. The majority of teams aren’t drastically different from what you expect. Next year’s schedule is significantly tougher. If you go through those 2 threads that @May Day 10 posted, people were spot on a year ago. Next year is a lot harder. That doesn’t mean that the Bills will have a worse record (or a better one). This year, the Bills had as easy of a path as they could possibly ask for with the exception of Burrow missing a couple more weeks. The seas parted for them and they peed down their leg.
  19. Had 61 receptions last season in Cleveland with 💩for QB’s, then only had 9 receptions in Buffalo? He was definitely misued by Brady!
  20. We need Terry to pony up and fly these injury list guys to Europe each week for some non-FDA approved treatments.
  21. there's a somewhat decent chance he can at least clear gaps for other WR's which he was doing quite a lot of for Olave and Shaheed
  22. We're not that far away from rolling out Palmer, Coleman, and Shakir on Sunday just like it's opening night. For some reason there appears to be reluctance to sign Gabe to the active roster and then outside that it's Samuel (who never plays), Cooks (who got here today), and Shavers (who had as many yards as you and me last game)
  23. How good could Shakir be if he was asked to do more then just catch ball behind the LOS. His rookie year he he kind of did a little bit of everything filling in for Lil Dirty. Even in year two when Brady was running an O with Dorsey’s plays he did more then what he asked to do now.
