There are a couple RB's I can remember being truly productive into their 30's. John Riggins had 1,300+ and 24 TD's at 34, then 1,200+ and 14 TD's at 35 toting the rock. Walter Payton killed it from his age 30 to 33 seasons, going for 5,889 yds and 34 TD's rushing. If Barry Sanders had played another 5 seasons (truthfully, just another 3), I have no doubt he would be the NFL's all time leading rusher. Players like Henry are a rare breed. But, all it takes is one injury at this stage and he's likely done. An ACL, an achilles, a hip labral tear, any of these could spell the end. -
Maurice Jones Drew may be the dumbest ex-professional athlete to ever appear on national media.

Before last here, here's the previous 10 Super Bowl winner's leading RB that season and their cap hit that season. Isiah Pacheco (2023 Chiefs) - $889k Isiah Pacheco (2022 Chiefs) -$725K Sony Michel (2021 Rams) -$1.7M Ronald Jones (2020 Buccaneers) -$1.9M Damien Williams (2019 Chiefs) $1.7M Sony Michel (2018 Patriots) -$1.8M LeGarrette Blount (2017 Eagles) -$1.3M LeGarrette Blount (2016 Patriots) -$1.0M Ronnie Hillman (2015 Broncos) -$943K Jonas Gray (2014 Patriots) - $273K Barkley was the outlier. Causation doesn't equal correlation but it's hard to deny this trend when it comes to thinking of paying a RB a top of the market contract. It's just smarter to spend money on other premium positions. -
Their star pitcher is supposed to get drafted in the MLB draft in June with maybe another potential prospect

Hate being the bearer of bad news, but i highly doubt they offer group discounts. They sell out every game easily so no need to offer discounts and not maximize revenues. Hope I’m wrong

He took one and then punished the Bills for 15 years. -
That may be. But again, there is likely other teams that will take less pass protection from the RB position for another playmaker on the field. This idea that you absolutely can't have him on the field on 3rd Downs bc that's what the Bills do isn't accurate. Not every team stresses as much on blocking players as we do. Not every team runs the same offensive scheme.

Yeah this sucks, but going 7-0 into the KC game is very possible.

True of course. I also said for years the Boston Bruins wouldn't make the playoffs. It happened!! 18 years later. -
I went on the Bills website to get group ticket information for 10+ people who have never been to a home bills game before. The bills website says they don’t offer group rates. Does anyone know of a contact number for the bills ticket off? Also do you know if they do any special ticket pricing for military retirees or veterans? Thank you all got a lot of family that want to see the stadium for the last time.

To the complainers let me say what I tell the dog. Stop barking! Looks freaking sweet! -
The Rappaport fight was good

This is excellent. The Bills AI thing was a decent idea, but this is top notch stuff.

Yes. Retire 1 day deal. poor guy shouldn’t be on the field much longer / any if he wants to play catch with his kids someday. The poor guy took and gave a pounding …

This is largely good news, but at the risk of being a wet blanket.......... The Iranian nuke program is way beyond the point of no return. Enriching program is many multiples beyond anything required for energy, and well into weapons numbers. There is no turning back, and their facilities are designed for just that purpose. I'd expect some kind of deal regarding "inspections," and everyone shakes hands and claims a win. But, in short time we'll find out the weaponization won't stop. Simply, it's too late.
