Brady did a horsecrap job against the Texans. Played right into their hands. -

Approximate Dead Cap hits if traded: Dawkins: $27M Oliver: $21.5M Shakir: $14.7M Around $63M in dead cap to trade these three you mentioned. Not to mention we are scheduled to have dead cap hits next year for: Milano: $11M Bosa: $7M Plus a few others. Oh, and we only have like 45 players under contract for next year as it is. We are looking north of $22M in dead cap next year to comply with void years. So in your plan we take on around $85M in dead cap, and have to fill about 10-12 spots on the roster with league minimum guys. Plus have money for draft picks, a practice squad and replenish the roster in season due to injury. How are you fielding a team? -

Maybe Mrs. Allen can convince Myles Garrett and TJ Watt not to hit him too hard since our GM doesn't seem to care. -
Kind of where I was going. The NFL boasts how it uses tools/technology to preserve the integrity, competitiveness, fairness and quality of the on field product. Yet, has no backup plan for the very vital on field officials should they be incapacitated during regular season games.

Cowboys' Stephen Jones says Pickens benched for missing bus Pickens and CeeDee Lamb were benched for the first series by coach Brian Schottenheimer for disciplinary reasons. Lamb told reporters Thursday that he and Pickens were benched for missing the team's 10 p.m. curfew Sunday after having dinner and drinks at a casino. -

Try to get the most senior person from the Eagles GM tree to establish a 5 year roster plan that 1. Keeps us in contention each year 2. Phases in cuts on bad contracts with minimal as possible cap consequences 3. Prioritizes playmakers for Josh -
Yes the Texans D is elite, Yes the most points they have allowed by an offense is 27 vs Seattle. All true but lets be honest we flat out blew it on offense because of Brady's play calling. Even with that great defense, and all the self inflicted errors, our offense had a chance to win it. A better OC and a better game plan in general by the whole staff gets us the win. We played literally into their hands and instead of Brady planning for the constant blitzing, he reacted like he was surprised and he was seeing this for the first time.

I worked in television and covered his triumphant “return” to Buffalo, with throngs of hopeful fans lining the 33 as his motorcade passed. Covered his entire career, and yes he was an arrogant azz, but there were plenty of others (Bruce, Thurman …) Also worked with him on Hunters Hope projects and he was definitely a changed man. Certainly no hero, but still easily the most successful quarterback ever in Buffalo. Allen is certainly a better physical talent, but he lacks a Polian level GM to build a proper team, granting that there was no cap then, just our beloved cheap owner standing in the way 😂 -

Lol, the Texans wrecking machine Anderson has played 2 less seasons and has more sacks than Rousseau. They were both 1st round picks, at this point Rousseau has been a failure. -

Groot isn't a great pass rusher. He'll be a 5-8 sack guy. He's an outstanding run defender. Do run defending DEs make as much as pass rushers? I don't know. -
Long list of Bills UFA / void year after the season
entropyrules replied to GoBills!'s topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not totally disagree with your take - it is one opton. But wonder if doing the opposite may end up with a longer-term reward. Get a real #1 WR in the draft (of course that's just a matter where they pick and bitt of luck) and get two more O lineman to beef up the O-lne. I think Dawkns is on a down hill trajectory and protecting Allen is the priority for this team. yes, they still won't be able to stop anyone but maybe they can simply outscore them. Plus, Beane and his team are simply not very good at scouting and picking D linemen. Of course maybe the Bills could trade the next three first round Picks for Myles Garret. -
Thank you for your timely reporting from 4 weeks ago. The magnanimity of TRUMP cannot be overstated!!

The Bills have really fundamentally failed at paying players for what they are going to provide in the future. Bernard had a great second year and was up and down since. Benford was coming off concussions x2 after a great year. Rousseau is a solid DE that hadn’t grown into an impact player at the EDGE. And Beano paid them all AHEAD OF SCHEDULE, (to hilarious applause.) This is the obvious downside of the strategy. Basically none of these contracts look particularly good right now and we are locked into this crew for the next 2 years at least. I said it at the time and I’ll say it again. If you are going to lock up these players and your future financial flexibility over the longer term as your “major” move of the offseason, you CAN’T be wrong. You hamstring the team otherwise. -
um , maybe. when they start making movies about your team, you know( regrettably) that the SB window is closing. Hope I'm wrong, but The Process has brought us a great team, which has been great, but not a team geared for the kind of single elimination tournament the NFL and the media trumpet.

If I was in charge I would remove Mr. Brightside from the stadium playlist. I would replace it with Jelly Roll's "I am Not Ok". -
The Comeback against the Oilers is one of the NFL's greatest games period. Wow was their talent on that team. Was Marchibroda our OC back then? He was excellent. It is an honor to have been a huge fan back then. I was 27 then. Thought we would have won a Super Bowl by now. But the drought came like an Oklahoma dust storm from the 1930's and leveled the team as far as being an NFL contender. Now I am 60 and am still hoping praying and watching every game. And I still have my Bryce Paup jersey that I bought at the beginning of the 1996 season. He would have been the best player on this defense, hands down. The Josh Allen era has been very very good. But not good enough. Our biggest weakness has been coaching and roster construction. The defense is too small in the front seven, and not enough speed throughout it. (Our guy are ALWAYS getting injured) and our Wide Receivers are not NFL caliber other than Shakir. We are not winning anything with this team. Unless we get healthy real quick. The key is getting Kincaid back, and him staying healthy the rest of the way. He is the only potential mismatch catching the football down the field that we have. That Beane thought this group of WR's was good enough to compete should get him fired, no questions asked.

It definitely messed things up for our offense. I am not sure how Josh processes how much time he has? By sight? or is he getting that through the headset? I think the lack of one official on the field or perhaps an official not being in his regular position was another bizarre wildcard for this game. I'm not thinking conspiracy but it definitely favored the Texans on the last drive. Also seeing the Hook and ladder play again, you can see Shakir takes a late hit well out of bounds that should have been another 15 yard penalty tacked on. Even Shakir reacts to the hit as if he is looking for a flag as he is well out of bounds when it happens. Does the lack of an official also affect that call?

Will Josh Allen want to stick around for a rebuild?
ProcessTruster replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm saying the Rams will go for it (ie; Matt Stafford trade) (again) and trade for Josh and Cali Josh/Hailee/baby will want it to happen, especially if everything Josh has with the organization is torn down and its a complete rebuild with new coaches/schemes, rosters. That is what I am saying. Clear enough? -
Ok man go pound salt the pound salt is in reference to you stating fact i don’t love him all of what you said isn’t me holding judgement or anything else just simply don’t love the dude not taking anything away from what he has turned around-

HamptonBillsfan replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
Forget getting no sacks, he doesn’t even bat down throws. Extending him, wishing and hoping he fills out and becomes a penetrating force is emblematic of Beane’s futility as a GM. Throw in Bernard, Benford Rapp,Knox extensions and having Jones, Milano still on the roster playing injured or missing games. Beane takes the most expedient, low risk approach to management and that’s why we’re circling the drain, with no cap space, no receivers and a window that may be closing much sooner than expected.
