  1. Past hour
  2. That’s a pretty wild take honestly, Thurman Thomas won league MVP while Cook is not even a top 3 Rb IMO.
  3. I have a different take on the end of that SB as the Eagles took their foot off the proverbial gas and didn't go after Mahomes as much, and this allowed ole Patty to get his garbage yards. Did the Eagles bench some of their starters to avoid injury while allowing the backups to get a chance to play in the game? With 8 minutes to go, the score was 6 to 40 with 3:43 minutes left in the 4th, with the Chiefs having a 5-minute drive. Sixteen points by the Chiefs and two field goals by the Eagles in the fourth quarter. This kind of tells me that the score could have been even more embarrassing for KC if they had kept the pressure up. Just sayin. Plus, I think the entire NFL world watched that SB, and in the draft, so many teams wanted to build their defense like the Eagles, which is why most of the top DTs mocked to Buffalo were gone by the 30th pick.
  4. I think safety is the most unproven. Maybe it's just me, but I am extremely high on Derrick Forrest. I think he and Rapp are the starters, with Bishop filling it and one of the rookies being safety 4. I'm not convinced Hamlin makes the team this year. Punter is the worst position group right now. 2 of the worst statistical punters in the last seasons that they have played.
  5. I think the non-drafting of an RB is a good sign. If Cook (agent/team) had told Beane trade him or Cook will hold out to week 11, then I think the Bills would have been looking at drafting an RB. And it wouldn't have been just the other teams calling, it would have also been the Bills on the phone to move Cook. Cook is an excellent, exciting RB that is a bargain at $5M. Great sign that he is going to be here playing on a contract year.
  6. Hallelujah! Hell Yeah we got our separation! Im digging our WR room now! Speed was the missing element. Moore lines up outside, he beats jams. He is an excellent route runner. He can run horizontal routes. Palmer is an excellent route runner as well. All of this is going to open up field, and create mismatches. Dalton, Samuels,, Shakir and the Cook will all benefit
  7. Shaw, the point is that there isn’t a player that’ll put them in a position any better than the one they were in last season. The only thing left for the Buffalo Bills to do is to have someone make ‘a play’ at the point of do or die. You either make the play or you go home. The other night I was watching one of the NBA teams (can’t remember which one) lose a game because a player inexplicably let a ball go right through his hands and legs out of bounds when all he had to do was grab it and hold on. The opponent got the ball out of bounds and proceeded to go the length of the floor for the winning layup as time expired. All I could think to myself was geeeez what a Billsy way to screw up a sure victory.
  8. Love the offseason. Great inspiration, OP. GO BILLS!
  9. Mason Graham got pranked as well by someone pretending to be Stefanski. But they called him after the Browns had already called him. It was recorded. It was a Buckeyes fan and Graham is from Michigan. Still don't understand why the father got fined for the son's actions? NFL trying to send a message so their signature off season event doesn't get tarnished.
  10. I've been saying it for years Dion Dawkins is one of the best left tackles in the NFL All pros and stuff like that is a club.. from draft day you're almost either a part of the club or you're not He's pushing into legitimate Hall of Fame territory with three or four more years of good left tackle play.. he's been that consistent for 6 years.. not first ballot but he could get in after 4 or 5 years
  11. Hey hey now I'm one of those. If it was a 2 yard shuttle pass to the running back as soon as I took the snap in the shotgun...i could do it as long as the sun wasn't in my eyes. In all seriousness though, I remember that game. They did dumb down the playbook but didn't run easy plays for him or even set up the plays for a chance. The defense plays read and react passive coverage and just limited options. It was a tragedy.
  12. Josh Allen is my favorite Bills player ever and I think he's the best Bill ever. But what he has in common with the guys directly behind him on that list is that none of them performed with anything resembling regularity at their highest level in the clutch. Thurman had one great SB out of 4. Kelly was 0-4. Ditto for the other HOF'ers from that team Bruce and Andre. OJ had one playoff game as a Bill and had an awful performance(14 carries for 49 yards). Josh Allen has been really prolific in wildcard games against clearly inferior opponents(except the one loss, to Houston). None of those teams were SB contenders. That record against a tired Phil Rivers, Mack Jones, Skylar Thompson, Mason Rudolph and rookie Bo Nix has made Allen statistically one of the more efficient playoff QB's ever. Which really only serves to confuse Bills fans. We need to keep in mind that Brady and Mahomes didn't/don't play in those games every year like JA17 does. So after 5 final game flameouts, including two horrible full game performances......and two less than stellar performances in both of his divisional round wins versus Baltimore.........I think it's myopic to think that Josh Allen doesn't need high end skill talent around him on offense. Tom Brady wasn't perfect, he had the ball late in a couple of SB losses and didn't cash in(Eagles and Giants). He had the ball late in the other Giants loss where Wes Welker let one go thru his hands like Kincaid did in January......that still counts as a failure to finish. But Brady's career was loaded with big playoff game heroics. Often bailing out NE defense's that seemed to get figured out and fall apart in the second half. Brady was like 75%+ money in divisional, CG and SB's. Allen was in his bag in just 1 of 7 of those types of games. The two should not be compared.
  13. Just fill a tub of water and lower the trap into it for a minute or until the trap stops moving. Then empty it and reset it.
  14. I think being himself is what got him massacred. He's dare I say, wierd.
  15. Omg, this is Groundhog Day. You do not need good receivers to have a good offense. If you have better receivers than you currently have, your offense will be better. In terms of a 4th round speed receiver, I’ll go through it for the 51st time because clearly it is still missing for some people. The Bills saw the 3rd least 2 deep last year. That was the case with Josh Allen as the QB which is crazy. That means, the Bills offense faces more defensive players, closer to the line of scrimmage than all but 2 teams. Their strength is getting the ball into playmakers hands quickly. When the defense crowds that space it is tougher for room to operate for the backs and Shakir. If the safeties were deep, Kincaid would have more space in the middle along with Shakir and Samuel. Getting a guy that plays 15-20 snaps and can raise the amount of 2 deep teams play, space will be created for the Bills playmakers. If you still can’t understand it, I’ll ask that someone else try laying it out for you. The overwhelming majority of the board understands this. That doesn’t even get to the potential for chunk plays or PI down the field. Big plays are important too.
  16. Especially now that we are pounding the table for Dion holding the Lombardi first Especially now that we are pounding the table for Dion holding the Lombardi first Especially now that we are pounding the table for Dion holding the Lombardi first Especially now that we are pounding the table for Dion holding the Lombardi first
  17. The updated roster looks correct.
  18. It’s an example of successful marketing, judging by your reaction to it. I think he’d be pretty good if he was allowed to be himself.
  19. I didn't say it was an easy catch. But it hit his hands. Even he would say he should have caught it. It's not an indictment of the player or indicative of future issues. It actually is reassuring that he was injured because that would explain his lack of deep targets last year. Almost everyone during the season was questioning why he was mainly running 5 yard out patterns and not the deep seam routes like the TD he scored against the Steelers in the playoffs. He has enough tools to be a great WR even if he will never be a great blocker.
  20. Or your candidate was extremely flawed. Seriously if you think Walz has the pulse of the average American man, then I don't know what to tell you.
  21. Ingram is a core special teamer, and decent cornerback, and he can hit. Moore can help with returns probably. But we need ST coverage. Mack was 5th WR last year, and on 4 ST units. Those reps need to be replaced. So Ingram is close to a lock IMO Otherwise Great jobs projecting the roster! Pretty spot on. There will be a half dozen+ quality players cut. There is a severe shortage of competent OL league wide. RVM, AJ, a few possible trade? DE, DT, CB, S are all fat now- they all will have tough camp battles, high stakes. Bills roster looks rock solid! Bills Defense is going to rock! Bills Offense is going to rock!
  22. Absolutely. 1 of 9 for 13 yards and 2 INTs. AND THIS WAS AN ACTUAL NFL PLAYER!!! Yet still, to this day, there are people (likely even on this message board) that will insist they could complete passes in an NFL game. Comical.
  23. Can't lie about the George Floyd after effect. That area of Minneapolis has never recovered to this day. Horrible gov. Ya. He spoke in "code" to me, and he said, "I am an idiot, and I was chosen because I am dumber and not a threat to Kamala."
  24. Exactly... and at a party with a lot of people on it it turns into a tragedy
