Dion Dawkins and A'Shawn Robinson Separated Postgame

Given who our next opponent is, I suspect the officials will retroactively assess a 15-yard personal foul penalty against Dion to start the game. -
10/26/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Panthers post game thread
Generic_Bills_Fan replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
This feels like sneaky good timing for the bills as far as scheme goes at least…extra rest compared to kc and just got a bunch of guys available on defense that there isn’t a lot of tape on. the Ed injury is a tough break though for sure -
10/26/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Panthers post game thread

Good post. A weird thing: Allen has the second highest QB rating of his career right now (103.6), is tied for his YPA high (7.9 ypa), and has his second highest completion rate (68.0). Yet his QBR is the worst since 2019: 62.0. He's usually a beast in that category, but his 6.64% sack rating (highest since 2019) is likely dragging it down. It's not as if the line is bad either; it's actually pretty great. I do think that QBR number better captures where he is right now than the other metrics, but he's certainly capable of stringing together some elite-level games. Go time starts this Sunday, with a bunch of tougher opponents on the menu in coming weeks. -
Got my glasses and my computer monitor overlay's just now. Things when reading are just calmer. Truly amazing. Looking outside, although my lenses are tinted, the colors on the trees just pop.

Wonder how they convinced him to cut his buyout in half and leave $27M on the table? Maybe the threat of "trashing him" in the media so he doesnt work again? Or rather the suggestion that they can end it amicably for $27M...

The left tackle just rode ed to the ground. What a bummer.

The New Guys: Hairston, Hoecht, Ogunjobi plus Hancock
billsfan89 replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think most fans were pretty positive about Hoecht comparing him to Lorax in terms of versatility. I know most fans didn't know who he was but like after most signings of mid tier and lower players fans looked into him and were mostly seeing positive things. -
Joe B (The Athletic) on passing game problems (with data)

Let's put this into perspective........if Cook wasn't chewing up ground yardage and basically winning games outright by himself, do we have the WR capacity to win games through the air? If teams took away Cook and forced us to beat them with our passing game, could we do it with our active roster?!? We all know it's a huge NO........why does our FO not see this? It's only a matter of time before teams take Cook out of the equation and force us to play the passing game and i'm not confident that we can do it with who we have on the roster presently. -
Hoecht is country strong in the East German Olympic Team sense.

Meant to do this earlier. Thanks for starting it. I am surprised that my thinking doesn't care if the Chiefs win or lose tonight. In normal years you want them off a win so there's no chip on their shoulder. The Chiefs have lost some games this year and have blood in the water. Their defense is playing far below their level of ability and Spagnola is still there. He could be a wizard when it starts clicking. Until then I think their offense is going to be the short term shot. I don't see the offense continuing to play above their weight unless Rice comes in to do what no one else in the league is doing. Well, beyond exaggerating, we aren't seeing the across the board numbers of success at WR this year like before.

The 6.11 yards per average yesterday is mainly due to missing terribly on a 2nd round wideout. Coleman shouldn't be on the field at this point. That said, they didnt draft a WR high just because he could block well. Sure it played into it, they want well rounded players. Yes, they want to run the ball well, they didnt pay Cook to have a bad run game. But to say they purposely want the pass game to be secondary to the run game is a bit obtuse. I am sure they want both to be excellent, that should be the goal of every coach. Balance is part of winning football. The issue with the pass game isnt that they havent put money and draft picks into it, they have. They just havent brought in the right players. Kincaid is talented, but is hit or miss and has injury issues. Coleman hasnt developed into anything beyond a one or two route wide receiver. Samuel is constantly injured and doesnt process the game fast enough. The WR position has been grossly mismanaged at a personnel level. If they can somehow get one good to great WR at the deadline I think you'll see a large change in their ability to throw the ball.

Yesterday it worked very well. Next week against arch-nemesis KC it might not won't. And when it doesn't work that's when the offense gets into trouble. Then it all gets thrown on Allen and whether or not he pulls off the Superman role decides if the Bills win or lose. That and whether or not the Bills draw Sean Hoculi's crew. I pray to God we don't those clowns on Sunday. -

Yes he is, but he is also the MOST penalized player on the Bills this year, 6 total including 4 false starts, 3 of which were at home. He was also the 2nd most penalized player last year, with 16 total including 10 false starts. -
Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good
BuffaloBillyG replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Pats have proven they can beat up bad teams and capitalize against good teams that have an off day. Yes, their coaching is better and credit to Maye, he's really good. They are playing with confidence right now. But this is the NFL. Sooner or later they will drop a game or two that they are expected to win. Then the shine will be off them. -
Look at the stars Look how they shine for you And everything you do Yeah, they were all yellow I came along I wrote a song for you And all the things you do And it was called "Yellow"

Sometimes bad juju builds up in Bills gear to the point of a loss. Not much one can do about that in the moment. Between the Pats game and the Falcons game I washed the slump out of my Bills gear, but I forgot my hat, which I washed the Saturday before the Panthers game. There was a lot of slump in that old unwashed hat... among other things. You can all thank me... especially if you're within 5 feet of me now when I'm wearing it.

They remind me of the 2023 Fins, certainly a good team but I still think things have to shake out a little more before I say they are going to be a consistent contender for the division and in the AFC. They much like the Fins in 2023 have a soft schedule and are going to make it most certainly down to the wire for the division barring any injuries. The Bills schedule while not grueling is far from soft. KC this weekend is hard, the Bucs and Eagles games are more so on the difficult end, and the Steelers and Texans games are mid-level solid opponents. Of course there are some "softies" on the schedule like the Jets, Browns, and Fins. Right now the Bills just have to control what they can control. Beat KC and you are 6-2 with a road game against the Fins coming up. See how everything shakes out after that. You play the Pats again so there's some aspect of that that is in your control. -
Time to put some separation between us and the Chiefs, fellas. It’s good that we have an extra day of rest over them. Go Bills!
