  1. Past hour
  2. Well, that it's not tue if the schemes help. And image, at times, not all the time, WRs running short while a TE or RB runs deep when Josh can see it's man to man coverage. Picth runs to the outside And yes, a few misdirections and play action!
  3. I'm not the person who thinks everything in the Eagles organizational turn to gold lol We get a new general manager we need a scout at the head.. not another Beane analytics type I want a guy with 15 years professional scouting
  4. Top of the drop is a great point. He hits it now and with the exception of Kincaid nobody is open.
  5. I do think the colts have better weapons than the bills. More diverse capabilities. Cook vs Taylor is tough. Overall at RB, I think we are a push because I think our depth is better. Cook may actually be the better back, but I’d give the slight edge to Taylor based on his career and the year he’s having. I loooove me some Kincaid, but Warren is better imo. He’s a monster. Our back up TEs are better though. Pittman, Pierce and Downs each fill their rolls perfectly. At the X and Slot, I think pittman + downs is about even with Palmer and Shakir, but Pittman has had the best years out of the 4. Pierce has everything you look for at the Z while Keon offers almost none of it. A deep threat is exactly what this offense is missing and pierce has it in spades. I think our WR4-6 are slightly better but might not be. Having the solid deep threat is the difference. Having a great Tight End that actually plays in games without getting injured is another factor. Kincaids always injured and it’s so ******* frustrating
  6. Yes and yes. So let it be written... so let it be done.
  7. I dont disagree and think McBeane will be here at least through the opening of the new stadium. That said... these types of posts kinda annoy me. EVERYTHING we do and discuss here is pointless. The discussion on the board carries zero weight in real life and will never result in anything happening on anything. The point is to have a place of discussion so folks can exchange ideas and opinions. The fact that Kirby just turned me on to the idea of Lane Kiffin accomplished about as much as can be expected here, and I appreciate it for what it is.
  8. I got another fun one for us to revisit. Here is a fire Dabes thread from after the Jags game
  9. Well right now the Pats would face the Bills in Gillette if the playoffs started today. Now could that Pats beat the Chiefs of course they only have 1 WR to worry about and Gonzo be on him most if not all game and the Pats have the best run D in the league. As for Pats O v Their D that’s a wee bit harder they have some good talent up front but the Pats have a couple good RB that could gash them and 1 who is an obvious HR threat.. This all said in the end I’d be shocked if they won against the Chiefs not because of their coaches I think the coaches cancel eachother out but rather because the Chiefs know what to do to win in the playoffs and the Pats have a lot of young inexperience players.. doesn’t mean they couldn’t win just more likely KC walks away with a W… but the fact they are in the playoffs make most fans here happy and it would be a. Very successful season.
  10. Why is BootyPlug even coming up now? He should be invisible like Judge Crater.
  11. Whose the Buffalo Bills version of Kevyn Adams? Any former players or low level assistants, interns, etc that Terry is having secret meetings with?
  12. To answer the question in the title... My top choices all got hired over the last couple of years. They were, in order: 1. Vrabel 2. Payton 3. Harbaugh With them out, I dont have a top candidate I'm hot and heavy on. That said, I'd lean towards Klint Kubiak. I also like @Kirby Jackson's idea of Lane Kiffin. Big Lane fan here and agree he would bring what we're missing with McD.
  13. This article in the Athletic talked about all the coaches that he didn't get along with headlined by Wink Martendale, but 5 others fired too, lit into the team doc on sideline., blocked a lateral move for existing OC, but then yanked the play calling away from him , lax discipline on the team etc. I don't recall the Jerry Hughes thing??
  14. Bomber cell phone data corrupted, secret service comms deleted, multi ton Capitol doors (malfunctioned?), less than lethal weaponry misused, bomb sniffing dogs can't sniff bombs... And then....J6 committee data and transcripts deleted... Seems a lot went awry on J5/J6 and afterwards other than the MAGA insurrection, eh Finding? Super weird. Junk investigations indeed.
  15. This is pointless to discuss this season because: - Neither will be fired this offseason barring something crazy happening - Any candidate you like this year will likely be coaching elsewhere or remain in their role for now, meaning they would likely not be options even a year from now. i understand the sentiment, but this is not going to be the year we blow up the coaching staff or GM/scouts.
  16. That’s the best option. Good call.
  17. because they scrambled to try and trade multiple high picks for Waddle. That shows me that they DID neglect it and now they realize that, but it’s too late.
  18. HC- Jim Bob Cooter OC Indianapolis GM- Alec Halaby AGM Philadelphia
  19. Chiefs would smoke the Patriots. I think Mahomes has been waiting for the rematch ever since Brady beat them in the AFCC game. I don’t think they’re a good matchup for them
  20. And it certainly was the right choice at the time.
  21. Some of these speed figures e.g. Hardman's 4.33 (2019), Samuel 4.31 (2017) Moore 4.35 (2021) are pretty dated in football terms, not sure we are helping Josh by picking up receivers off the scrap heap, or guys that can never seem to stay healthy for more than a couple of games at a time. We also have 4 receivers on our roster with times between 4.54 and 4.61, and guess what, they can't get separation.
  22. To the 2nd part of your point, I think Robert Saleh got a screwed over by Jets. He had a great defense and was saddled with QBs that he didn't want and were terrible. Its still stuck in my head a couple years ago in a game against Jets where his confidence in Zach Wilson couldn't have been lower, but he daringly went for and converted a 4th down trying to manufacture a win. I think he's a good coach who would do well in better circumstances.
  23. Finding Qanon must not have its air travel disrupted! Qanon abounds!
