It’s possible that the league (ops and refs, not teams and players) are catching up to the way Sauce likes to play corner, in a way that might be detrimental to his career arc. I’m not a Sauce expert, but from my anecdotal viewing experience it’s obvious he’s a grabby cornerback to a degree which you rarely see. Not physical, but grabby, in that he’s constantly using his hands to manipulate and impede his receiver before the ball arrives. He’s got that reputation even among Jets fans and NFL analysts who watch his every play. He was called for more coverage penalties last year than his first two years combined, and his passes defenses were cut in half compared to that same time frame. This could be a random result of small sample size, but I think there’s a real possibility that the NFL has become acutely aware of his play style, and has made an honest effort to adjust how they ref him, not in a malicious way, but in a way that acknowledges the reality observed by most everyone that watched his first two years: he got away with stuff well outside the bounds of legal coverage.

The Micah Parsons-Cowboys relationship has deteriorated to the point where the star pass rusher is considering drastic measures which could include a trade request or even a declaration that he is severing his relationship with the team A declaration?....well, it worked out well for the colonies.

I've done the last 2 Bills AFCCG's inviting friends over and cooking wings (out of towner). Only 1-2 friends out of probably 10 that come are Bills fans. Needless to say it's extremely stressful (cooking and the game of course) and the previous endings had horrible vibes by end of game. One described it as "I think I watched you die about 100 times during the game"....I will be watching alone when we make it back this year.

Another major screw-up by the Jones family. It happens with every impending FA they have that's worth keeping. Jerry, instead of being proactive, waits until the market becomes inflated and then has to overpay guys on a team already struggling to remain competitive in the NFC East.

Jerry likes the attention. Jerry likes putting the injury risk on the player up until the last second possible. I think its the wrong way of looking at it. Paying Dak, Ceedee and Parson early is 2 - 3 solid NFL starter salaries cap wise.

Being he's a rookie, I think he starts the season on IR which allows him to observe the first is it 4 or 6 weeks, then comes back. Give more time to fully heal and to see the game from the sideline at a pro level better. Making him active for week one means cutting some other CB. So between Hairston's lack of practice time now and maybe a little lingering injury "dust" he could be an overall team liability being on the roster then as would need him to play and he likely won't be ready either physically or knowledge wise. This would allow them to keep an experienced guy like Jackson on the roster. If he was a 3 or 4 year vet, then could see him starting the year active on the team.
