  1. Past hour
  2. we had walker, phillips, bosa, groot out there, and we had aj 55 obiwan and walker on another drive. that's quite the mix of big strong (kinda) fast and a lot of nasty. im scared to face kc, but they've had OL issues and mahomes has had some errant passes, if we beat them the DL will be a huge part of the reason why.
  3. Bills adding Brian Thomas Jr and Logan Wilson. I dreamt it so must be happening. Super Bowl odds went from +750 to +500.
  4. Now this is a very good question.... i think we are seeing new rosters are emerging but who is for real... I still think KC and Philly are the teams to beat... With some Detroit in there... but the Bucs if they can get receivers back, San Diego if they remain consistent... The freaking Colts if they are for real... the Patriots with Maye and Diggs and the Defense look scary to me... I think Pittsburgh is a pretender Baltimore too injured but they could be in the Bills category get in, get healthy and peak in the playoffs... Texans to me have regressed, Packers look tough as well... bottom line is a lot of renewal with new and up and coming teams in the league this year so its hard to tell... I will say this that I am much less enamored with the Bills roster and more with we have what was the best player in the league ... problem is he is struggling... this to me = big problems... long season, time will tell...
  5. Doesn’t matter. They’ll still be in the playoffs.
  6. Man the Bills just can't catch a break but with that being said someone else needs to step up and fill that void !!
  7. By the way. Philly won a Superbowl with an elite run game. Mid way through the year their defense improved when they moved away from a veteran safety and corner for 2 rookies. Around that time they discovered their best mike was a veteran value signing. Makes you wonder.
  8. Well the 3 articles I pulled up all said basically the same thing and NO IT WASN"T A FOX FEED so you might want to get the flea that wrote that response to look further than CNN or MSNBC for his info . Yah it's up but hole .01 % WOW . The hoax is the BS being posted y'all are hooping that most of those folks that read that stuff and most are to lazy to go look for them selves and will just drink the Kool aid !!
  9. I agree we were right there. They say it's a game of inches and none of those games should be defined by the one play at the end that didn't work. (Well 13 seconds maybe lol) my point is there are plant of opportunities to take the game and we just haven't been good enough when it matters to do so. Could they have? Yes but they didn't. Simply put, I don't think we have enough high level talent. Josh and Cook. Who else is an elite talent that we can count on when we need it most? Drafting has been pretty bad. We acquire low to mid tier guys on rental contracts. Moore and Palmer have really done nothing all year. Samuel, nothing yet we could have put that money towards a Metcalf or an Adam's last year but nope let's pay a bunch of "hidden gems" that are buried in depth charts and hope they flourish in Buffalo while Brady keeps everyone at the line of scrimmage praying for YAC. Limit Josh (our MVP) hand to Cook and hope to run the clock out. We all know what the defense looks like. So yeah, I'm pessimistic right now. Statistically speaking there is so much that needs to happen to win it even if the team was perfect. Which is crazy that KC just seems to do it all the freakin time. But that's another convo. Go Bills.
  10. As a proud St. Joes alum, I’d take it over any of the WNY schools. Slight bias, of course.
  11. It's time for the Bils to step it up and show every one what they are made of the Chiefs are back to their old selves and pretty much scored at will Monday night so the D will have to be on their toes and Josh along with James may have to don their capes for this to be a win but I think they've got it in them . One way or the other it's gonna be another good one for the books, it always is !! GO BILLS !!!!
  12. Did I read it wrong or did Fox show a graphic stating Cook was the 12th Bill to have a 200 yd game? Either I read it wrong or somebody with the broadcast team messed up. I knew immediately that it wasn't correct.
  13. Agreed. Low volume makes normal passing game miscues stick out more. He will miss a few than make 10 in a row. Gotta just be happy with a historic rushing day by Cook. It’s like saying Cook didnt run enough if Allen threw for 500 yards. Brady wants a balanced attack so he can hammer a mismatch or tactical advantage. He was the OC vs the Rams, Ravens and Lions. If they can attack outside, inside, down the field, over the middle, or underneath they will.
  14. Mahomes is killing teams this year with his legs. We need keep in the pocket and get him on the ground with a spy. Otherwise, not worried about the KC running game. I worry about our offense, they'll have McDuffie on Shakir and our outside receivers are a negative mismatch. Need big,big TE and RB days. Josh needs to play a lot better and someone else to step up. Running with Cook alone won't be enough and we better be ready with a plan to handle the blitz.
  15. For starters the Eagles and Chiefs. Philly is the defending champs and look at how many Super Bowls the Chiefs have won and even just played in. The Broncos, Colts and Pats have been built nicely. Obviously, these teams will have to prove it over the course of the year and into the playoffs. Then there is the Ravens. They got hit hard with injuries, but they are getting healthy now. If they can come back and win the division then look out. A healthy Ravens teams definitely has a championship caliber roster. On the NFC side you also have the Lions. Packers and Bucs with strong rosters.
  16. I'd say it's more on the Coordinators right now. Brady has gone away from the "boring" stuff too often in critical times during those losses and tried to get "cute" with playcalls that didn't work instead of doing the simple, boring, easy things that have extremely high success rates. AKA, the Shnowplows we saw in the Carolina game that have been almost non-existent up until this point for some reason. And injury concern makes no sense since not a single injury was noted on Tush Push plays last year in the entire NFL, mostly because the players are lined up so close together and there isn't much momentum gained prior to contact. We saw in the Carolina game what happens when this team simply focuses on doing what works and not worrying about style points. They score boatloads of points. If Brady simply stuck to what we know worked, we likely have one less loss, and maybe two. Also, why are WR's running into coverage when DBs are playing way off? Why not use a sight adjust and if the DB is more than 7 yards off, Allen simply throws a quick out/slant, etc for free access yards? They did this when Diggs was here constantly and picked up easy 5-6 yards and sometimes even first downs. There is free yardage available they are not maximizing and many times not even taking advantage of. Babich seems to have KDS ("Ken Dorsey Syndrome"), where the playcalls themselves are not necessarily the problem, but more so how the flow of the playcalls together work. His ability to read the flow of a game and make the right calls at the right times is non-existent far too often. As you can see simply by McD calling the defense, it seems to have an actual overall plan and flow to it on what they are trying to accomplish on each series instead of just stringing together random plays. So to me, this falls more on the Coordinators than Beane. They clearly have the pieces to be doing better, but due to their own "cuteness" and wanting to be more exciting (maybe the fans and media constantly harping on no downfield stuff really got in to Brady and Allen's heads) and inability to properly create a cohesive playcalling plan series to series in Babich's case, they have not optimized what they have. Could they have better talent? Sure, but most teams could say that. The first order of business before looking at that should be to ask "Are they optimizing the talent they have to work with RIGHT NOW?" and the answer to that has been a resounding no, especially on the D side of the ball under Babich.
  17. I just read the inflation rate has hit 3% for the first time since January it's been at 2.9% and holding fairly steady from what I'm reading but the shut down could hurt if it keeps going alls that is needed is like 5 Dems to reopen the gov't but they would rather have people suffer to get their gender surgery's and keep paying for health care for the illegals and for everyone else on Obama care .
  18. Idk, there’s something going on. But how about the fact we have no downfield passing game and we turned one of the most talented gunslingers in nfl history into a game manager while he’s still in his 20s?? Imagine doing that to Favre or elway in their primes
  19. No. Biggest question is the defense and it is beginning to round into shape. Buffalo has an elite multifaceted running game. Defense will begin to be more aggressive on early downs. That will open up more passing on early downs.
  20. thanks for the advice, but the decision has been made, we're going (plus prices have come down a little from the high point when we would have sold).
  21. Palmer was obviously a big part of the Atlanta game plan. Him going down made them very thin at wr. Allen willing to throw the ball consistently under center on early downs will do wonders for the passing attack and down the field passes. Gotta be able to rip seems and crossers off outside zone and duo. Rumblings of Allen prefers to pass out of shotgun points to the disconnected passing and running attack. To generate the down field passes early down PA is the answer. Cook is too good right now not to merry it. The shotgun nothing fake is fine without a traditional run game. Buffalo has one and the team has to lean into it. BTW Cook had the most rushing yards in about 50 years for Buffalo. More than Thurman Thomas, Willis Mcgahee, Marshawn Lynch, Fred Jackson, and Lesean McCoy. Jonathan Taylor is running away with OPY. Cook is averaging more yards a game and more yards per carry. This is an elite run game. The passing game needs to fit in where it can get in at the moment. I dont understand why some want to move away from it because it’s not as flashy?
  22. But who are the dominant championship rosters?
  23. Even the TD pass to Shakir I don't think we realize what an elite throw that was...essentially he "told" Shakir to turn towards the sideline by where he put that ball on his outside shoulder because he saw the defender coming from the inside. So instead of spinning into the defender, Shakir spun away from the defender, up the sideline and to the house...in part because Allen made an elite, perfect throw on the play after diagnosing the situation properly.
  24. My one visit to Jamaica was in February 1989 5 months after Gilbert slammed the island as a high end cat 3 low end cat 4 storm which still is the strongest on record to hit the island. We were staying in Ocho Rios and the hotels there as well as Dunns River Falls were all fine though on the long drive from the Montego Bay airport we did see some places that still looked bombed out. Prayers and good luck to the people and beautiful island of Jamaica. 🙏🙏
