I also wanted to point out that T.J. Sanders had some nice penetration at times and he was the reason that A.J. Epenesa got his sack late in the game. -

I certainly didn't think the Bills would win by 15 points or more. But Bills defense can't stop anyone. If the other team can effectively run the ball and keep the score close they'll be in the game. Seems like Bills get a couple huge plays each game to break it open. Can't always count on that though. -
He should have been let go after the 13 seconds game debacle.

Yeah I know the real Joe Marinos thoughts on Walker. I was just throwing it out there In case there were people thinking that the imposter was actually Joe Marino, -

Hopefully being sloppy today will keep them on alert this week. Getting to 5 and 0 and burying the division would be huge. -
This defense will be our demise again for several games this year nad most certainly in the playoffs against the numerous teams who would have had the Saints put away by the 2nd half playing at home today. I'm not sure the guys coming back from suspension and injury fix this. I really don't believe we are good enough on the defensive side of the ball.

In their last 15 regular season games, the Bills have only failed to score 30 twice (which is crazy). Both times were against the Patriots. -
I'd like to see the offense open up a bit. I understand a balanced offense approach, and Cook is tearing it up, but this offense lacks flare and creativity lately. Games we thought, and maybe should have been easy, haven't been.

Doubtful. If they gave up on him after a week, he’s low on their list to return I agree with this generally, but there is only so much you can do to protect players. It’s already illegal to rough the kicker, run into the kick, what is the NFL gonna do? A penalty for getting near the kicker? It’s part of the game. I’m not sure how much more they can do

I saw it said earlier that Davis decided he didn't want to be just the short yardage power RB and deliberately lost weight this season to try and gain speed. So he basically made himself useless on purpose. Just watched the highlights of the Panthers/Pats game. A few observations: - That game was decided on special teams. Their returner is dynamic, and containing him has to be a focus. Of course, not needing to punt would help. - The Panthers are a genuinely bad team. I was worried when I saw the score, and the Pats were still impressive - but it's like they were playing a JV team. - Maye was solid, not great. He had some nice chunk throws, but on the ones they highlighted, receivers were wide open. It made me jealous to see WR's get that kind of separation I feel like the Bills took the Saints lightly today, and let them hang around longer than they should have. They have to go into next week's game w/ the mindset that this team is their biggest competition for the division. As someone said above, a W basically makes that a moot point. Glad we're home.

Switch Allen and Rattler and who wins the game? What’s the score? But it’s all not on McD. That Saints Safety who made all those plays, I never heard of him, so I looked him up. Turns out he is a rookie drafted at the end of the third round, 21 picks after Landon Jackson. Where was Beane on that one!?

This was funny but did anyone notice the Saints ran out of timeouts with more than 5 minutes left, and the Bills still had one?

To Marino's credit, I've heard people who offered glowing reviews of Walker have admitted that he's probably always going to be topheavy due to his height and length which is fantastic for pass rush but a liability for run stuffing. -
Seems to be an issue all around the NFL. Have never seen so many blocks so consistently in my life as I have to start the season...GB had another XP blocked tonight and Dalla returned it for their first 2 points of the game.

Back to the game… I never thought that highly of Green Bay this year, but Dallas has looked really bad to start the year. Thought this would be more lopsided. -
They definitely need to bring people in. The injury was to his non-kicking leg, so stability is an issue. Not that the kicking leg would change things, but planting to get leverage for the kick is huge.

It's our defense I'm more worried about. if we can score 30-40 we should be good. -

“The package” -
McDermott said he expected them to be able to be given time to substitute like normal but it didn't happen for whatever reason on the first one. On the 2 point conversion, it absolutely did matter because they only had 10 defenders on the field
-
You forgot Hernandez, he had a lot of targets. Too soon?
-
Sitcom title for Buffalo Bills football is “McDermott Knows Best” But does he? He hasn’t yet, and we are entering a time when a great TV series warps up their successful run.
-
Yep. McDermott should have never let go of the play calling. I thought the first half of 2023 when he called plays was pretty bad. But he really turned it around after that eagles loss and they were pretty dominant down the stretch. Babich is completely incompetent IMO
