I am excited about the potential upside of DT Phidarian Mathis

I like this guy's first name. Was he in the East/West game with Hingle McCringleberry? -

Well, the CBS E team gets the game best suited to their network ranking.

Perspective Matters: The Offense Is Producing
hondo in seattle replied to Magox's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't disagree with anything you're saying, but I do want to add a little context. Mahomes faced pressure on more than half his throws, but only 2 times did the pressure come before 2.5 seconds. In other words, he faced coverage because the guys in the secondary were - amazingly enough - locking up their guys. Chris Simms really liked the way the Bills mixed up their coverage calls. "They never played the same coverage in the same situation twice in a row." -
I think all the Bills uniform combinations look good except for the all blues and reds. The Bills will be wearing their all-white throwbacks next week vs Tampa.

I expected this joke to say married dads tbh

Actually I can see Ty Johnson with the anytime Td.

Elijah Moore is the guy you are describing. Again, it is up to Brady to make the adjustments to get a guy like Moore involved.

I get nervous when teams have strong linebackers that can take all the josh scrambles/over the middle stuff away. Colts definitely don’t have that. They might be the league’s worst tbh. Probably would’ve added a LB as the colts gm if I wanted to make a serious push. It’ll be interesting to see what the chiefs do to them in the regular season…if mahomes doesn’t go off it might look more daunting but I think he probably will

Hot Take: “Old Joe” Flacco exposing what some (including me) suspected…

Browning's a nobody, a bum. Flacco is very smart, seen it all, very accurate and still spins a tight spiral. -

When it happens I will believe it can happen. -
Old man take: The league should make the home team wear its official home unis at home. I dont care that its hot down there. Nobody told you to put a team in Florida.

Serious question how good are 7-2 AFC teams (and LAC at 6-3)
Gregg replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't want the Ravens to make the playoffs either. When healthy they have a very good roster. Those Steelers - Ravens games will be fun to watch as they battle for the division. Same thing with the Broncos - Chiefs games. -

Correct. In today's NFL, these front offices are basically playing a "real" fantasy football game with their rosters. You pay the wrong guy(s), or a slew of injuries, it ruins things in a hurry. It's not as easy as people think. In Cincy's case, they paid the QB & Chase big bucks. Throw in Higgins now, a significant chunk of the cap is taken up. The trade-off is losing guys like Joe Mixon, a pretty good RB, and the other 50 guys get the leftovers (defense anyone? lol). While the cap is great in theory, it also kind of penalizes a team who happens to hit on a draft class, as everybody's contract runs out in 4 or 5 years. Look at some of these QBs who got off to rocky starts and teams chose not to keep them around.... some are thriving now (Darnold, Mayfield, Daniel Jones). -
Just made a Ray Davis anytime TD scorer bet on DraftKings. He’s +1000. I didn’t have any boosts but I recommend everyone jumping on that just in case. If Cook is out that number goes way down.

If only we were that good to just hold everyone out. Miami plays us tough and wants to end the losing streak. Play everyone that can play

Let's take a second to appreciate James Cook
ddaryl replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes we need to appreciate Cook, whom I feel actually upped his game this season. I was not all on board with a big contract for a RB, but Cook is making the crow I eat alot more tastier Everyone needs to remind thmesleves the reason we could not do a big deal and bring in a high quality WR is because of Cook's contract. I for one appreciate that we kept Cook over having more money to go big and sign a top receiver at the Deadline. -
Yeah, but isn't that how they get wrist injuries?! 🤔

Based on the Bills 32-7 record post-bye since 2020, I think that is probably a safe bet. How about the defense just plays like it does against KC in the regular season in the playoffs? Mahomes averages 19.8 PPG, has 8 TDs vs. 9 TOs and a 75.2 Passer Rating in the regular season against us and essentially can't be stopped in the playoffs when the D allows an average of over 34 PPG. No excuse for the same team, and running the same system to allow 2 TDs more consistently game in and game out in the postseason versus the regular season. At this point, I am thinking it's all mental for this team on D against KC in the playoffs. Offensively we average more PPG in the playoffs against them. Clearly the D is the issue here regardless of anything else going on with the offense and there is really no valid argument otherwise that makes logical sense.
