  1. Past hour
  2. I get amused when the people of WNY talk about the high cost of housing, traffic or hot summers. My wife is from Rock Hill, SC (just south of you) with a lot of family in Charlotte. There are some gorgeous old areas there, but they come with a distinctly non-WNY price tag.
  3. These people can barely stand up. How are they going to rid Palestine of hamas?
  4. I personally love that Bills football will be outdoors for decades to come. Beautiful September and October fall games and classic winter matchups. The 49ers snow game was incredible. I know I won’t change anyone’s opinion or anything. Not calling anyone soft individually. I just think outdoor football is better.
  5. Spring comes only ahead of winter in my rankings, though it is nice to get those few warm spring days after such a long and gloomy winter. We would go out in shorts and tee shirts to play basketball when it was still too cold for the ball to really bounce right. Teaches you to pass when the basketball bounces like a medicine ball.
  6. To illustrate your point, the most expensive home sale in Buffalo's history just occurred a few days ago at 3.5 mil. I live in the Charlotte area and a listing like Shaq's is not out of the ordinary. The amount of wealth in the city is obscene. I unfortunately do not fall into that group lol
  7. This is an insane claim. Totally wacky. Reaches the point of disgusting.
  8. I’ll be very disappointed if he doesn’t have an Open House when the Bills fans come to town. I think that would be the proper gesture. Now would be a good time to look into adequate insurance, including an umbrella policy to cover the things that only Bills fans could think of!
  9. We have to keep a bucket of water near the door. When our dog comes in, we have to dip his paws in the water, then wipe them off with a towel.
  10. Nobody got soft. The reason football has been played in the elements is because the season used to end in November for high school and college. The NFL ended in December, now it is February.
  11. Wise words. Wish someone would have told me that 50 years ago. I’m shaving damn near up to my eye sockets.
  12. Come on,Be a man, build an open air, catch nuemonia than die. I will put a picture of John Wayne on your grave.
  13. Buffalo is never hosting a Final Four. Maybe a Sweet 16 or something like that if we went dome .. but it makes sense for Philly, who has the infrastructure to support that, to take a sporting event like that into account. Seems like every other year the Final Four is in a domed football stadium in the South or Lucas Oil in Indy.
  14. Nuns beat cursive into me pretty good, I still get compliments on my handwriting. …..so I got that going for me.
  15. Shave. Just grow into Cousin It.😉
  16. This is the most ridiculous post I’ve seen in a very long time on this board. The desire to be comfortable while watching a GAME is an indicator that our entire society is heading for the crapper? Talking about resiliency because you should be uncomfortable while watching a GAME? Yikes. I’m 100% a sit in the air conditioning in the summer guy. I must be part of the end of society as we know it. I’m proud of you for sweating it out unnecessarily and keeping society afloat. Kudos to you. 😂
  17. Growing up in WNY I tend to think Spring = Mud. We had to keep a roll of paper towels by the back door to wipe the dog’s paws every time she came inside, and that still wasn’t really good enough.
  18. New media has given us options. Primarily, Locked on Bills and Cover 1. Eric Wood and Ostroski's shows are good as well. The Squad show can be good with Joe Marino and Ostroski playing off each other but then Jeremy White has to wreck it with his penchant for pushing non-story stories. Ultimately, hearing Glab say "eleven personnel" every show does nothing for me.
  19. It’s football. You play in the elements. When did everyone get so soft?
  20. Stop insulting NP like that! 😅
  21. What’s to be gained even though the public pays for a portion of the stadium you still gotta shell out money and I don’t think there’s that much additional luxury boxes you can put in as stadium design 25-30 years ago was to put in as much of that as possible. The old multi purpose facilities from the 60’s-80’s were truly dated and somewhat ugly. But by the time you hit the late 90’s stadium designes were much more modern. Im not seeing the money play here but maybe there’s something I am missing.
  22. He must have some really good kneepads.
  23. Two out of six, the New Jersey stadium and 49er's stadium are open air. Going back to 2000, 8 out of the 17 stadiums built were open air. And now with Cleveland, Tennesse, Washington, and Chicago, that'll be four more stadiums going from open air to closed roof. List of current NFL stadiums - Wikipedia
  24. They gave us a run for our money last year. Maye was gutting the Bills with short, quick passes. Precisely why we drafted Hairston.
