Game week thread - Bills at Texans TNF

Any weakness on the Texans defense? They rank within top 5 every defensive category. Tough matchup -

How so? They have gone 9-2 over 11 weeks but are going to go 3-3 over 6? -

Eagles fans no longer have backing to complain about the defensive holding call that set up the Chiefs’ game winning FG in the SB a few years back. As ticky tack as that was at least there was a jersey grab on that play. There was literally nothing on the PI that was just called on the Lions. -
A lot of young guys are playing. And we're still trying to get healthy. Bosa is probably a few weeks away with that wrist from being himself We'll see what happens. It's a concern obviously Gotta give credit to Tampa too... Baker is legit, Tampa is legit. We were lucky some of their guys were banged up It was a classic shootout

Their fans are starting to have doubts. Honestly as much as I'd like them to suck I'd rather they get bounced in the first round of the playoffs. last thing we need is them getting a good draft position.

I was at the game today and I always have a harder time paying attention to individual performances in person. I'll give my game balls to the two game changing players on each side of the ball: Allen Bishop I don't know if they talked about it on the broadcast but it was deceptively windy on the field today. It wasn't a coincidence both QBs had some errant passes and multiple WRs had trouble corralling otherwise easy catches. Given the wind and the fact that Tampa mostly shut down our run game while we were hopeless in stopping theirs, Allen had to put the team on his back and he did. This was a game where the difference in QB play from each team ultimately decided the result. The defense as a whole was awful, it is hard to find positives in a game where JAG RBs had their way with us. Bishop however has seemingly overnight become our best defensive player. I can't remember the last time a Bills player took this kind of leap in the middle of a season. We have ourselves a true ballhawk and the importance of that can't be overstated.

Week 11, Bucs v. Bills, GAME BALLS!

Agreed that heart issue was the only reason he wasn’t drafted. He’s clearly better than White. Bucky and Tucker are a great one two punch come playoff time -

It's honestly astounding how bad the Eagles offense is based on how good their OLine is and their skill position players. -
Front seven is too small. LBs and CBs are too slow. Pass rush is too inconsistent. Deone Walker, Maxwell Hairston and Cole Bishop are hopefully good steps in the right direction. Still need another 1-2 good drafts to replace the aging vets we’ve lost over the years. Paying Terrell Bernard was a mistake, whether he’s injured or not.

Who do we want, who do we need as our next HC and, or GM?

He is right. -
I heard McD gained a lot of Saudi fans after some choice comments a couple seasons back. Let's hope it wasn't one of those guys.

They are really not good...essentially winning games on theast play every week. -
Allen can make any offense elite day Sunday. Whether or not they get hot at the right time is impossible to predict. I think the defense hinges on the development of Deone Walker moving forward this season. We've lost too many other pieces. If he can get more dominant, the defense has a chance to be good still, but he's basically our only chance for interior pressure and run stuffing combined.

According to Cover 1, Coleman will be a healthy scratch

This is not going to be a popular take, but I agree with you that Dion has regressed this season, especially with respect to penalties. The officials have been calling '73' out a lot more often on false starts and holds than in the past, and they haven't exactly been phantom calls, either. -

I guess Kurt Warner has been saying that the Offensive play calling makes no sense this year. I hear he's been calling them out on it all year. -

Officials have to be on the take. How can they possibly call that when throughout the game much worse isn’t. It’s a travesty
