  1. Past hour
  2. Probably cuz the father is James Cook Jr And he just didn't name either of his first two kids James.. the third kid got the same name
  3. Landon should be getting defensive reps ahead of Solomon since Solomon hasn’t shown anything, but I know he plays STs as well so he keeps getting a jersey. McD said a couple weeks ago Landon was close to playing, so it was a surprise he wasn’t up for this game.
  4. It’s more likely that his dad’s name is James Cook Jr…so he’s James Cook III
  5. Here's what's on my mind: I never noticed that Cook has COOK III on the back of his jersey. Maybe it's new, or maybe it's just because his hair obscures the name plate. But we all know that James has an older brother, Dalvin, and it turns out that there's an even older brother. So if James was the third son, how did he get the Dad's name?
  6. Sometimes a timeout is worth more than 5 yards - this is one aspect that analytics or coaches do NOT consider When there is a potential delay of game, QB's frequently call time out. Is that there much of a difference between e.g. a 2nd and 3 and a 2nd and 8 to waste a timeout that can be game altering at the end
  7. Not the worst idea...
  8. Actually, that is exactly why they should be worried. $47m in cap space gone. Pro Bowl DT gone. 2 First Round picks gone. For a guy so easily neutralized and now they lack cap space, premium draft picks, and created a hole on the interior making it even harder for them to put people on the filed that can take advantage of the double teams Parsons sees.
  9. I thought they said we had 12 on the field for TO #1
  10. I wasn't able to watch the game but in the GDT the consensus was there were some weak calls ..11 called against the Bills. I don't like that
  11. Pats lost to the Raiders, barely beat the Fins, lost to the Steelers and crushed the Panthers. They are middle of the pack and even with us missing a bunch of guys on defense, we should handle them easily as long as we play more consistent than today.
  12. Today
  13. I’m here too. Feels like they have overtime right. Though, to be honest, I’d be fine with a straight ten minute period, not sudden death, and a tie once that is over. Ties really don’t bother me.
  14. Codrington a healthy scratch for this game surprised me. Cole Bishop with the play of his life OH MY was that clutch and a thing of beauty Josh with the pump fake then run in for the touchdown atta boy Josh. You'e the MAN who will be our punter next week? a few of my own thoughts. Great write up Virgil
  15. How can someone be a bust 4 weeks into his NFL career without getting playing time.
  16. Terrel Bernard needs to blitz more. When he became the starter at MLB 2 years ago, he was very good as a blitzer, be it immediate or delayed. Last year he did less and less of that, and we used him in coverage more. Which he has shown to be decent in coverage. When Bernard blitzes, as he did today, he causes havoc in the backfield. The Bills need to use him this way more often.
  17. Augie we could end the thread with this snarky gem. Concur LOL oh my
  18. We didn't bring him here to play contain, we brought him here to rush the passer which he's done. Babich needs to be aware of his skill set and stop leaving him on an island. It was shocking the number of outside runs where Bosa was the only player in the way of Kamara picking up chunk yardage. That is just not putting him in any kind of position to succeed. Yeah Van Demark missed his block. But you don't call that play unless you know the RT can execute the pull. Again this comes down to coaching putting their players in a position to succeed. And even if it was Spencer Brown I still would have hated that play call. That series featured three straight plays where neither Allen or Cook touched the ball. That's a gift to the opponent. Sanders popped a bit today as well. Nothing that shows up on the stat sheet but he had a couple quick wins that impacted the play. He is definitely still figuring it out and is behind Walker in his development, but I'm glad they're letting him get the reps now and not pulling him for like Jordan Phillips. When Oliver comes back healthy I get pretty excited about what that group could look like. Hopefully Hoecht gives us some legit pass rush ability because that spot opposite of Bosa has been practically non-existent through 4 weeks.
  19. Wooden ships on the water, very free (and easy) Easy, you know the way it's supposed to be Silver (people) on the shoreline, let us be Talkin' 'bout very free and easy
  20. It was a transcendent moment for him when he started clapping and the entire locker room started clapping along in rhythm with him. After all these years as coach, he's finally coached up all the Assistant Coaches and the front office staff to clap along with him. One of the truly great moments of his career. And it took a win against the New Orleans Saints to do it.
  21. it hasn't been really discussed much. I imagine it will be tomorrow. McDermott benched him hmmmmm
  22. Thats how 2-4 losses become 5-7 losses.
  23. Standing on the water, casting your bread While the eyes of the idol with the iron head are glowing Distant ships sailing into the mist You were born with a snake in both of your fists while a hurricane was blowing Freedom just around the corner for you But with truth so far off, what good will it do?
  24. Interesting. Thanks for the link!
  25. I have heard the name but his music not in my own wheelhouse to say the least
