Horrible Year To Be Buyers at Trade Deadline
boater replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dangle Kincaid as trade bait. He has been disappointing, but could flourish in the right system. I remember Dallas was after him in the draft. -

Game week thread - Chiefs at Bills

It’s better when we have Hoecht and Ogunjobi lining up on the line rather than practice squad level players, along with Hairston at CB and anyone but an injured Rapp at safety. -
Did he really have that great of a receiving core last season? Are you expecting 2 straight MVP seasons with what he has?

Better than free money on that 2.6pc cut to earners over 626k that you lap up, Anus Man. -
It made official landfall right where a popular resort is, Sandals South Cost, which has a bunch of overwater bungalows that are probably not there anymore.

Cuban missed? 🤔

Yeah, doubt a new GM is going to agree to have to keep a HC that he potentially doesn't see eye-to-eye with and have his own performance at least partially judged by that HC's performance. If Beane goes, I can't really see McD still being here. Which is crazy to think about since if that time does come, we're potentially going to have both a new HC and GM again. That's another house cleaning.

Sounds like you are in support of providing healthcare subsidies to families with an income of up to $600,000. Seems a little at odds with the normal tax whining you do but that’s part of your schtick. -
You talk about that season like it turned out positive. The Bills came back and won the division. But their mid-season lull cost them a chance at the bye. And then they got bounced in the Divisional Round. People aren’t upset about the AFC East possibly slipping away. They are upset because this team still doesn’t look ready for the next step, and still looks behind the Chiefs. Which means another wasted year in Josh Allen’s rapidly closing window.

Is that across the board like you tax giveaway, Anus Man? Or just to those who don’t have employer-sponsored or group insurance? And yet Trump cannot rid us of this “unpopular” program. Nine years and counting and still no plan to repeal and replace. -
You know as well as anyone that neither side cares about people, it’s about power and that will only be swayed by public perception, which right now has gone from 50/50 to a 55/45 lean R this week. If it goes any further, Dems will break and vote for the clean CR.

Horrible Year To Be Buyers at Trade Deadline

Yes - all fantastic points - I guess there is plenty we don’t know and i personally agree with the premise of sticking up for your guys- I just felt in that situation it was more he was reacting to the criticism of him not doing much with it- i guess at the end of the day im not a GM im just a guy that wants a productive team and when you have Allen you are always in the window if you build your roster plenty I don’t know- I just feel like the trade deadline constant needs at a thin position is getting old now jump to something because of injury-I get it- to me the room was weak before the season started -
My god, do you hear that? It’s Gabe Davis’ music!

Gabe is still on IR. -
Exactly! Not much one can do except mitigate the loss of life.

When the whole league figures out how to stop the type plays an OC is scheming and play calling the Offense itself becomes the problem. League figured out Daboll, Dorsey just sucked and now the league has figured out how to stop Joe Brady. They just can't stop James Cook...

That’s the thing. Nobody is getting their healthcare taken away. Democrats put in a deadline for Covid era subsidies to go away, and that deadline is approaching. I guess your guys effed up when they put that deadline in. Hopefully there are six more Democrat senators that come to their senses. All we can do is hope. as an aside, do you support the Covid era subsidies? Those subsidies make a family of four earning up to $600,000 a year eligible for subsidies. Seems kind of crazy for someone from the “tax the rich” party to approve of that.

Colts schedule is no picnic: at Pittsburgh vs Atlanta at Kansas City vs Houston at Jacksonville (where they always struggle) at Seattle vs San Francisco vs Jacksonville at Houston I think they’ve built a big enough cushion to make the Playoffs, but I could see the Texans or Jaguars sneaking into the division talk.

anyone who thinks the shut down is due to only one side is completely foolish.

if he can play i'd put gave davis out there and give him large burn until palmer is ready. if palmer, kinkaid, shakir, and cook are on the field we can threaten several areas of the d on obvious passing downs. right now we just don't throw to backs and allen is like the least passingest qb on "neutral" downs, so we either run and dominate or get to 3rd and long and struggle schematically. if we can be closer to 50/50 run and pass from jumbo under c and out of shotgun (we can go shotty w multiple TEs too) then teams will have a problem stopping it. also, do we ever run draws? i saw a stat that said cook runs into 7.5 or so defenders in the box on average, the 4th highest in the nfl, and has the highest epa per run (0.2, which is disgusting). in 4 down territory him running on 3rd and 7 out of shotgun might be our best option sometimes. -
The falcons defense matches up to be strong against the patriots. Fast, light, smart. Much like I think we match up well to Phili - and win - I think Atlanta has a matchup advantage

The MAGA party controls all three branches. It’s on you guys. Surely you can appease 6 democrats by not taking away peoples healthcare?
