  1. Past hour
  2. Cool, thanks! I hadn't considered the helicopter and any others. My greater question is can the President fly a non-government approved (personal, private or charter) plane for personal reasons? I just imagine during office he can't, because of security reasons.
  3. Not really true. They got lit up by the Colts in Andy's first year when they blew a huge lead. After that before swapping out Bobby Sutton for Spags the Chiefs played six playoff games and gave up more than 22 just twice at an average of 19.5. Both to Tom Brady and the Patriots - 27 in the 2015 divisional loss and 37 in the 2018 AFCCG OT loss. They were 2-4 in those games mainly because their offense couldn't score. Their first nine playoff games with Spags as DC they kept teams under 22 just three times and the average points given up ticked up slightly. They really only got better on defense when they started drafting defense early and often. McDuffie, Karlaftis, Bolton, Chenal, Cook... etc.
  4. One of the best covers ever. I heard Jagger loved it.
  5. When faced with a decision last year about getting 5 tickets to a game at $300 each plus an easy additional $500 to get to the game, tailgate, food/beer/parking, instead I bought a 77" TV and a Sonos soundbar. I missed the game experience but use the TV every day lol
  6. Hard to say, I know when the Bills as a result of some international scheduling were given the choice to pick their bye week (I don't remember the exact detail I think this was a benefit given because they played the Jags in the Jags second week in London in 2023) I think McBeane took a bye week later in the season. I think given that there's only one bye for the playoffs teams probably prefer a bye later in the season. But also you could get his with a rash of nagging injuries early and could use a bye in week 6-8 so it is always a bit relative. I think the key thing is to have your playoff seeding locked up by week 18 so that you can have that last week of the regular season as a defacto bye week on top of your mid-season or later season bye. I think it made a big difference for the Bills in 2024 vs. 2023. In 2023 they had to chase down Miami and every week was a playoff game and I think the Bills were a bit more exhausted than KC in the Divisional round as even though KC was the 3 seed they locked everything up and rested their starters week 18 so while they didn't have the one seed bye they had pesudo bye. I think it made a big difference for the Bills in 2024 to not play starters in week 18. So there's a lot of ways to look at the schedule.
  7. Understood. I am talking about the future, not the present. Thus, we will find out what the market will bear.
  8. I'm talking legacy media here. So by right wing you're saying Fox News, so it would hardly be the same thing if they flat out refused to acknowledge obvious Trump deficiencies the way the entire rest (90%) of the legacy media covered for Biden for the entire four years. You can't both sides this one.
  9. Yeah Bills fans lament the injuries the Bills have had in Chiefs games but the Bills have still lost some playoff games where the opponent had areas that were decimated by injury. Secondary for the Chiefs in that game was one of them. That was maybe the only time they've really been able to take advantage of such a weakness in one of their playoff defeats.
  10. Just a hunch that Terry doesn't like the idea of paying for the team going to Rochester for a month and a half after they put the final touches on a 2+ billion dollar stadium. That doesn't mean that they are going to do camp in OP but I'm sure they would like more people around the area to see the new stadium and surroundings.
  11. Correct - based off of market research and data likely provided by ticketmaster and stubhub - this a closer interpretation of what tickets sold for during the season last year. If they priced them low, resellers would scoop them all up anyway.
  12. Next season resale will fetch far greater prices most likely. Especially opener and early games.
  13. For apolitical, edification purposes. Whenever the President flies, it is designated "1." Could be the Marine helicopter, in which case it would be Marine 1. Could be other airplane types that the gov has access to. they occasionally use a 757 for the Pres. It is mostly the 747 because of comm and defense capability, but not always. To answer the question, it isn't always one of the two 747's specifically for this purpose, depending on where they are going and runway situation.
  14. I don't follow a particular media that closely, tbh. I do gather from both sided biased media. But personal, yes. I try and discuss with both sides and understand. We seem to have lost that as a country so it's important to me to make the effort. While I certainly have biases left or right depending on the issue, I consider myself independent. Seeing both extremes on here only pointing fingers at the other side then wallowing in hypocrisy when the impropriety takes place on their side is laughable but sad. Real change needs to first acknowledge the BS of both sides, no matter how fervently you support one. Right wing for sure, left wing will scream it from the mountain tops, opposite of but paralleling what happened with Biden.
  15. I guess that ends my years of game attendance. When considering the exchange rate, that’s over 500 loonies for a basic seat. Not a chance
  16. I don't know if it's the last year but the fact they are now doing no more than year to year agreements does suggest they are open to moving from SJF at some point.
  17. If Trump starts to obviously decline do you think the media en masse will hide it and refuse to report it?
  18. The chatter this off-season has been very interesting. If I can summarize: 1. Threads about our poor WRs put forth by folks, ignoring all other receiving options including RBs and TEs, until it is convenient to all of a sudden include TEs and RBs with WRs when it is convenient 2. Demanding objective data from those with whom you disagree on a topic, while offering up subjective opinions in other cases about players from other teams, and feeling insulted when asked to meet the same standard for one’s subjective assessments. 3. Bemoaning the lack of separation and speed in the WR corps, but when players are added to address each (Palmer, Moore) dismiss the efforts as insignificant. 4. Ignoring injuries that may have affected players (Kincaid, Coleman) 5. Claiming guys are busts (Example: Coleman, Bishop) without accounting for the fact that there can actually be improvement in young players as they gain experience in the league 6. Assuming that our offense cannot be as good as last year (or that the defense cannot improve) while indicating how other teams’ offenses and defenses will undoubtedly be improved All very amusing. Training camp can’t come soon enough.
  19. Yes. He’s a dumbass. Does anyone dispute that? Are you a Comey fan? LOL
  20. Oh I know how dealing with ticket prices works. It's the starting point that I was commenting on...
  21. is this sort of all WIN prediction common? I mean I have no idea but that to me reads like WOW
  22. But does this not happen every year? I fly into Buffalo once a year for a game. I always check the prices when they are released, all the way to when I purchase them the day before the game. Or sometimes a few weeks before if I see a pair I'm eyeing drop significantly. It always drops.
  23. Any guesses for single game tickets next year? I'm thinking $500 or more for the cheap seats.
  24. What makes you say that?
