  2. Strong is the most overlooked loss of all the injuries, in my view. He might have quietly saved the day as CB2, allowing Hairston time to get his feet under him and keeping Tre mostly on the bench. He was playing well, especially for a rookie. If he returns, he could have more of an impact than Hairston, who has missed so much time. Dream scenario: We muddle through until late in the season when Strong returns, Hairston is making an impact, the PED twins are making a difference upfront, and the Olave-Allen combination is starting to click. 😀
  3. Falcons scored on 3 of 4 drives in the first half. The Bills stopped one drive. Or should I say, Rousseau stopped the drive. 1st down Rousseau tackle for loss. 2nd down Rousseau tackle for a loss. 3rd down Rousseau tackle for a loss 4th down Punt to Bills . Hoecht is a stud that is going to elevate the whole D Line. Larry O is going to toughen up the interior.
  4. Good. We have been short of them.
  5. So its another fire McD thread is what your saying
  6. Adds a little depth. Neither will make a splash.
  7. It could just be a two-game blip. It was a horrible two games including horrible play-calling. But I'm far from convinced that's the way it's going to be going forward. I think it's more likely we'll get back to scoring 30+ points / gm
  8. While I agree with you that a coaching change is needed, the comparison of Brunson and Allen is iffy, haha. Josh is perhaps the best player in the NFL and no worse than 3rd. He really should win a title during his prime. Brunson's like the 20th best player in the NBA. He won't win a title and can't be expected to.
  9. Today
  10. I'm 54 years old and I've lived through all the failures of both the Bills and the Knicks, so I’m very experienced in this. What I see is a strong similarity between the two franchises, especially in recent years. The Bills, after the arrival of McD and especially Josh Allen, have become more and more of a contender year after year — but for a variety of reasons, they’ve never reached the final goal. The Knicks have followed a similar path: after years of embarrassment, coach Thibs and Brunson arrived, and now the Knicks have become a respectable team — but again, without ever achieving the ultimate goal. Differences between the Bills and the Knicks? The Knicks decided to try and make a change, moving from Thibs to Brown. Will it work? Will it help? No one can say for sure, but there’s definitely more excitement now. With Thibs, it had become really boring — always the same game plan, and in the end, no ring, not even a Finals appearance. I wish the Bills would have the courage to make a change too… but I doubt it will happen before next year.
  11. If you take then hit in 2026. The 2026 number is nil. They can do a post June 1 and save a lot more next year and then 5.45 in 27.
  12. Here I am, and in this city With a fistful of dollars And baby, you better believe I'm back, back in the New York groove
  13. Good god, you're right about that LT. Where was his head?
  14. Houston made the same mistake Chicago did in week 1. If you can't trust the kicker to boot a touchback just kick it out of bounds. The 5 yards is so much less important than the extra time off the clock burning the 2 minute warning. Will the HOU defense go into revolt after this game? With a mediocre offense they'd be 5-1 or even 6-0 right now. How do you lose a game where your DEF scored a TD and forced 4 turnovers?
  15. Well I guess you can say that Settles that…
  16. There has been mind numbingly bad game management from both teams in the final 5 minutes of this game
  17. Why do I feel like a number of posters here… secretly wish/hope for a loss and collapse of the team? I know a lot of posters want to be right and about the coaching and Beane being the worst ever, but this is drought era thinking. The Bills are 4-2. Your desire to be right about predicting their demise should not exceed your desire to see the Bills win. Go Bills! Always and forever. (Even when Rex was the HC and we all knew that was going to end bad, even before he bought his fancy truck)
  18. I think huge upgrades, we're going to finally see a real competent defense again, especially once Hairston comes back
  19. This offense coordinator for Seattle should have run the ball 3 times. Bleed the clock.
  20. It's even funnier if you watch the LG and see how in synch he is with the T picking up nobody; they even spin back to the LOS together trying to figure out where everybody is
  21. We got Mad Max for his game changing speed, something we haven’t had in this secondary for far too long, hope he’s healed up and we can get to see what he can do against Worthy, Flowers, and what’s left in Miami. We’ve been missing that for a while, hope it’s everything we dreamed it’d be on draft day (well, next year for sure, gotta give the kid a chance!).
  22. Texans play calling bad. 3 plays for a yard, not even close.
