  1. Past hour
  2. The advent of Trump being a liability has started …maga has nothing to run on that’s really appealing …earliest lame duck…ever….
  3. It was just named in the recent top rivalries of America of high school football So yes it's still obviously a huge rivalry even between alumni St Joseph's is good usually the second best team in the Monsignor Martin.. canisius is just recruiting at a crazy level right now Canisius is a top 10 football team in New York state St Joseph's is probably top 50 so both are obviously very good
  4. Sidetrack: just for S&G, and because it's almost Vet Day (I'm not technically a vet): We used to have consistent heat indexes of 140 in IZ (no kidding), and I usually carried about 60+ lbs of gear, ammo incl. AFG was better. The poor bastard grunts would carry even more than that, day after day after day. Just un-freaking-believable. Studs all. Now, imagine @hondo in seattle, buttoned up in an armored box, w that kind of heat, and crazy winds, and god knows what. Cav rules. Bitching about it completed, lol.
  5. I think it's not just Po. Tre is also a wiley vet. It's hard to imagine that neither is contributing in some capacity. Probably both are involved in some way getting the back end to be in the right place at the right time.
  6. In all seriousness, that rivalry was, and I hope still is a lot of fun. When I was at St. Joe’s, I had friends and cousins at Canisius. I remember playing a JV football game at Canisius, the field was only 80 yards long. When you reached or past the 20, ref moved you back 20 yards. There was also a cement slab on the field, in the spring the shot putters used it for practice. Wasn’t exactly ideal.
  7. Am I crazy for thinking that hit was NOT anything incredibly out of the ordinary? I know his flailing after makes it kinda graphic, but just looking at the hit, it doesn't look crazy at all. Not intentional to me. I havent seen it in a while, but I know ive had thid same thought multiple times and when I see it again, I think the same thing everytime. Strikes me as one of those things thats more like hitting the ball with the sweet spot on the bat, not a violent swing, but a buttery one that ball goes screaming off of.
  8. Brown is an absolute bargain! There is no way they try and get out of his contract!
  9. Patience, Grasshopper. The depleted DL hasn't even played one game yet. Maybe they will do just fine against Miami. Let's see how they do before pulling the fire alarm.
  10. I don't disagree on adding Wilkins, our EPA run defense on junk grabs is far worse than last year and our kissing booth activity is at a net loss over the first 8 weeks of the season.
  11. I'm talking pure football haha Not pure spoiledness... Nichols kids are on a whole different level of that lol They also have an insane prep hockey team lol
  12. I mean Nichols if you want the unathletic rich kids sitting around the ski lodge in ski club with $20K worth of brand new gear on tho and driving new BMW's and Mercedes to school their parents bought them for X-mas.
  13. I also voted for the one seed for several reasons. 1. One less playoff game. In recent years, injuries have killed us in the game leading up to the Chiefs game. It would be nice for once, to be healthy and rested. 2. I don't want to live in continued fear of the Chiefs. Slaying the dragon would feel almost as sweet as winning it all. Certainly would be a big step. Sick of hearing that we can't beat them in the playoffs. 3. In the scenario laid out, Chiefs would likely end up as the 3, and the Ravens as the 4. Which would mean that the Chiefs would play the Colts. Also I could see someone like the Broncos as the 5 spot, knock out the Ravens for us.
  14. Oh so I was right with jaws!
  15. No, I said a SB QB. Not a superbowl winner it's jaworski and gronkowski good polish kids
  16. Agreed, in reality, you go for the #1 seed no matter what and let the rest of the chips fall as they may. A team would be insane for purposefully giving up the one seed for the five seed, even if it appeared to be an easier road. And you are also correct that a scenario where both KC and Balt are out of the playoffs is unlikely. But, in this hypothetical situation, I think not having to face Jackson/Henry and Pat/KC---possibly back-to-back (granted at home) would be an easier path than even three road games vs. Rodgers/Pitt, Nix/Denver, Jones/Colts. [Maybe it's based on past trauma 🙂, but we often have a real tough go against Derrick Henry and obviously vs. Pat/Reid/Kelce too, while none of those other QBs scare me.]
  17. sorry its to soon for this for me lol. but i love the energy!
  18. When Brown was resigned, it was a big number, but I think the bills could get out of the contract after 2 years (this offseason). I do believe one of the interior guys is gone this offseason but, if we cut/traded brown maybe we can keep the interior 3 together. Just another option
  19. And to add my own two cents to that I feel the best fanbase designation also typically trends towards the cold weather blue collar cities which is fair but could be another example why a fanbase like New Orleans goes under the radar
  20. I never said anything bad about Saint Joseph's! Take it easy bud! **Nervously sweating** 🤣🤣
  21. What does maga do that’s conservative exactly? Is it the Blown up deficit spending or the DT administration inserting itself anywhere and everywhere? Tariffs😝😝😝? Venezuela 😀😀😀? Gerrymandering midterm?👍👍
  22. Oh wow I was on board through the first paragraph already, but Higgins?!? I probably laugh at someone else saying this, but from you, it makes me think im out of line. I know its not probable to happen, but you think thats fair trade territory on compensation? For a guard? albeit an incredibly good/young/durable one.
  23. This. That's why they drafted to have this deep line room.
  24. Baltimore is 3-5 so they have some catching up to do if they want to make the playoffs. This week at Minnesota isn't an easy one. I do think the Ravens will win this game now that they are healthy, but an upset is certainly possible. Definitely rooting for the Vikings to win so the Ravens fall to 3-6.
