What? You can still interact with fans and care about your teammates, while also slinging dick freely. Him disappearing in the playoffs is still a bigger deal than this.

Dorian Williams in the Hoecht/Lorax role?
Max Fischer replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dorian needs to gain about 20-25 pounds to take on a lineman. He's quick, but lacks the elite speed necessary to evade blocks. -
Coleman should be utilized in the slot, more than on the outside. Clearly he needs more time to develop. Still on the immature side. It may take him to year 4 to really come into his own. He has been held back by this offense. No one has racked up big numbers post Diggs. If you look back at Josh Reed drafted in 2002. In an 8 year career he had 311 catches, 3575 yards and 10TDs. “Best receiver in the nation” his junior year. He did not have an impact as a pro, whereas his college career was legendary. Why was he a middling pro: Bills Offense was not geared to his strengths; he wasn’t particularly fast. Sounds familiar. Coleman is no Moulds, that’s for sure. Sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly, it will materialize, if he works for it. Young receivers often take longer to find themselves in pro ball. Quinten Johnson of the Chargers is such an example. Patience will be rewarded.

Bills don't "need" a WR, they need to use the ones they have better
Thurman#1 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jeudy's catch rate last year was 62.1% while Moore's was 59.8%. That difference on the number of catches Moore had is statistically insignificant. It's basically a two-catch difference over the course of a season. Same for the team catch percentage, which was 62.3%, again not significant. And that includes all team receptions, including RBs and TEs, who generally catch at higher rates because they're getting easier passes. Looking at WRs only, Moore was 2nd highest on the team among WRs with more than three targets. Moore's longest catch that year was 44 yards, and only Jeudy had a longer one among all pass catchers on that team. In 2023 the team catch percentage for all positions was 59.5% while Moore's was 56.7%, and he had the 2nd highest catch % on the team that year, second to David Bell at 60.9% on 14 catches, though Amari Cooper was at 56.3% and he was targeted with much longer Y/A than was Moore. Moore's longest was 42 yards. This is his fifth year and his longest catch each year was 62, 42, 42, 44 and this year 31 so far. He's been targeted long before, with some success as the consistency of long plays shows. In his second year, with the Jets, catching passes from Zach Wilson, Flacco and Mike White he had the highest catch % among WRs with ten catches or more, ahead of rookie Garrett Wilson by less than 1%. As a rookie, Crowder and Berrios were way ahead of everyone else in catch %, while the rest of those with ten catches or more were all within 3% of each other. Ick. You made me look at Cleveland and Jets numbers. -
He deceives people, and it’s not cool. All that playing catch with kids before games, and showing up alone to see Damar in the hospital in Cincinnati feels weird now. Like a campaign.

There is truth to this. He sucks. But options like Xavier Worthy, Xavier Legette, Adonai Mitchell, and Ja'Lynn Polk aren't much better. Guys like Ricky Pearsall and Ladd McConkey were Slots that we didn't need. Even Troy Franklin - who knows if he would have developed the same way had he not been Drafted alongside his College QB that he had built in chemistry with. The truth is that it was considered an all-time WR class because of MHJ, Nabers, Odunze, and BTJ under them. If you weren't in a position to grab one of them or didn't need a Slot, you weren't in as good of a spot as thought of Pre-Draft. If I was going to crucify Beane for anything, it would be not only not doing but not even attempting to move up 6 spots to try and secure BTJ.

I feel like that’s the story more and more with kids in states that don’t have spring football. The south and west coast just dominate recruiting. Even the freshman RB Bo Jackson that we have now at OSU; he’s from Cleveland and that was actually surprising. Most of our skill players are from Texas, Florida, Cali Yes! Wow that name was in an archive somewhere in my brain. He was pretty good. But I think he got injured -
AFC East after Week 14 in 2021 and 2023

I think we still win the division but this year feels different. The pats are legit good and Maye is the real deal. The year when Miami had the division it took perfection from the Bills and an epic collapse from Miami. We kind of knew Miami would collapse though. The Pats have a soft ass schedule. -

Would love to see it. I also think Javon Salomon has the build, athleticism and aggression for that role. -

Many years ago ohio state recruited doug worthington out of st francis. The story was that our HC at the time, Jim Tressel, was college roommates with ilios dipaolos son. He would come to buffalo sometimes and ended up at a couple st francis games. There was also a kicker from canisius that came to osu a few years ago. I cant remember his name but he was the #1 HS kicker in the country at the time. Paul woods out of canisius was highly recruited but I believe ended up at Rutgers RIP. His son is at ohio state now. -
Keon's played in 3 less games and 40 less targets and has only 54 yards and 1 TD less receiving than Xavier Worthy 2 less games with 23 less targets and 162 more yards and as many TDs as Xavier Legette aka the two picks that he was traded for that and were drafted above him. I'm guessing we should have stayed put and drafted with of them instead?

….or point. That works pretty good with menus, but it can get you in trouble with people. That’s your public safety announcement for the day. -

Well yes but I was specifically talking Buffalo and the suburbs Rochester actually puts out higher level of division 1 football players per capita than buffalo And that was my point there's a decent amount of division one talent but most of it is FCS.. we do get two star players and three star players in Buffalo But I can't remember the last four star player off the top of my head who stayed all four years in Buffalo And you're talking about Messiah Hampton who is the number one player in the state this year -
While I agree that Josh was able to do something that you don't generally see, I don't think it's a comparable situation. He had an Elite bag of tools to work with. Keon is physically limited. There's nothing that can be done about his speed (or lack thereof) or his body type. Even if he became bigger and stronger, it would just serve to make him even slower.
