They do lack a lot of high end talent. That’s been said by many posters in here. This not high end talented team though it has a lot of depth on it as clearly shown by record/amount of injuries and has the best Quarterback in the NFL as well as a average talented team that seems to work together and do their job more often than not. I’ve begged the Bills for more size/speed for years, a thing that isn’t on top of their priority but it does seem to be shifting in their philosophy a bit which I’m thankful for just wish they would have done it quicker

Those teams had solid to great defenses led by maybe the best head coach in the history of the game. This Bills team isn't close to either. Honestly, if Josh Allen can lead this roster with this coaching staff to a championship, it just might be the greatest single-season feat by a QB in NFL history and they should induct him into the HoF the next day.

I’m watching the replay of Sunday’s game and just saw the TD to Shakir. They called roughing the passer on that play, and it was a perfect example of how I think the league has gone so overboard on roughing, late hits, and such that the rules are contrary to fundamental laws of physics. Specifically F= ma. F= ma. Force equals mass times acceleration. So you have guys of significant mass, running and accelerating to try and sack a QB or break up a pass, so there will be force. There will be force because physics are physics. And pretty high amounts of force given the degree of mass and degree of acceleration. The league seems to want guys to immediately stop accelerating. Like when they’re within a step or two of a guy. You can’t just do that. Plus as acceleration in this case is straight line, you also can’t reasonably expect a guy to be accelerating in a straight line, tackle, then somehow twist themselves into a pretzel to avoid landing on top of a guy. I am not saying we go back to the Jack Tatum paralyzing Daryl Stingley days, or the days of watching QBs get destroyed every week. But can we at least have football that acknowledges basic physical laws?

Ok so explain the obvious?

Yep. There were a couple of Patriots teams who didn't wow you from a talent perspective (outside of Brady) that won titles. It can be done.

I know who he is and I agree. But the summary written sounds like a random bills fan right now.

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
Tommy replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
The new Bills stadium had an initial estimate of $1.4B. It's only over $2B now due to overruns. The new Denver stadium's initial estimate is over $2B to start. It will likely end up costing more than that once they start construction. So it's not that the Denver stadium has the roof and more seats and is still cheaper. The apples-to-apples comparison is between the initial estimates/budgets in which the Denver stadium is $600M+ more. Maybe they will be able to stay on track with the budget better than us...I guess we'll see. -
Gee, it sure stinks to be the boss.

NFL announces return to Munich, Germany for 2026 and 2028 regular season
Augie replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’d like to see Munich, but I’ll hold out for something better. That’s about all these games mean to me, vacation opportunities with a built in excuse. I hope they have a decent field for the players, not that the NFL is too concerned.- 1 reply

Serious question, have you ever watched a Bills game, ever? Is this just another classic newcam troll post?
-
Ah, the dreaded poop on the desk scandal........that was actually about 25 years ago when i was the boss, so maybe my co-workers felt the same way about me then as i do about my boss now. Interesting........interesting indeed.

I bet 90% of this board agrees with this sentiment in some form or fashion. I think the likes/dislikes to your post is already reflecting that. His statement is a direct indictment of Beane and the scouting staff. From your summary it doesn’t sound like he said anything about poor coaching, play design etc.

There’s something different about McD this season…
Avisan replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
All teams have things they do and don't do well. Efficient, productive statistical output with high volume is the goal regardless of specific limitations. Allen also limits the offense in ways but he's really, really good at the things he's good at, which makes up for his (relative) deficiencies in pre-snap analysis and touch/timing throws. How well a team and player can work around limitations determines how well they can perform and whether or not good output is sustainable long term, but it doesn't make the play producing that output "bad". -
Who is your favorite team?
-
Agree and disagree. Agree on the WR issue but disagree on playmakers. We have the second best RB in football by yardage, our TE group is good overall, and we have a very good Oline that more times than not gives Josh a chance to be Superman. On D I would say Benford is a talented guy, and Bosa and Bishop havacome on.

This all seems like an indictment of Beane and not McD imo

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
Buffalo ill replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, it's almost like the waltons have a net worth 5x-10x the Pegulas. Still, it's criminal the Pegulas pay so little for the one they are building. -
That's exactly right. It's frustrating that the AFC is begging for a powerhouse to reveal itself and we made too many mistakes in the offseason to take ownership of that mantle, but the conference is so weak that it is still more favorable than when we had better rosters in a better conference. This year we are pretty much guaranteed to have the clear QB advantage in every single playoff matchup and that alone should give us confidence. It's extremely rare that a QB like Bo Nix or CJ Stroud makes it into the Super Bowl in the modern era. Possible yes but the odds greatly favor the elite QBs.
