Agree --- if Jax loses to Denver though, and Houston wins out (which I think will happen). Then Houston has the tie-breaker (neutral on Div & common games, but they'd have the Conf tie-breaker ---- similar to us w/NE if we hit scenarios).

Growth as a coach? Only 3 current HCs have longer tenure than McD. Is there something different about his this year? We'll find out come playoff time....

For anyone touting the virtues of McD, one of his most important tasks is hiring the OC & DC. So what does he do working with a team that has Super Bowl aspirations? He promotes from within…guys he can control easier, instead of hiring established experienced coordinators who may question McD more than two OJT guys who are just thankful for the promotion. Babich & Brady…are these guys to lead you to a SB? Yeah…McD is really growing as a HC. 👎🏻

2025 McDermott is a kamikaze compared to 2019 McDermott. IMHO, his biggest failing is stale ideas on defense, but I'm not a big enough film nerd to support that with specifics. He seems like he's trying to run a much more aggressive, pressure-based scheme than our roster is tuned for, especially in the postseason. Bosa may be the only DL player who is authorized to get pressure on the QB as their first priority, instead of gap integrity.

Absolutely correct. But to me, it's not a strong enough indictment of the organization. He mentions effort and culture. Haven't had that in years. And I believe it's largely due to lack of accountability. Letting Kevyn Adams hang around the last 2 or 3 years is criminal. Don't hate the players, hate the game. The players are going to tread water right along with the entire organization. We're extremely close to some of the stars clamoring to go elsewhere. And who could blame them.

Win a Superbowl. You have one of the best QBs in the past 50 years. Don't care if McD shows up on the sidelines dressed as a chick. Really an indictment of Beanes roster mismanagement.

What I’ve noticed is an evolution since 2021. He is less conservative, and more willing to take chances. Especially on 4th down. Also more willing to call cover zero blitzes. Although I’m not sure he’s calling these, I think he’s approving them. I don’t think the 2021 McD would ever go for it on 4th and 4 on his side of field in the 1st half.

If I’m being totally realistic I think we lose again to the pats this week. They had a bye week and are at home. I think we beat the Browns and Eagles and then rest starters for the final week with a secured wild card bid. I would love to get the 1 seed and if we do and no chiefs to play I think we get to the SB but being a wild card team this year won’t be bad either. Right now we don’t have to play Mahomes, Lamar or Burrow in the playoffs. Allen is by far the best QB left and should carry us through regardless of seeding or McD incompetence this year

i think there is internal finger pointing going on at one bills drive. i don't know if it's some like normal good competitive level, or a negative destructive level, but i think it's there and bigger than before.

With the traffic it gets, WP could chuck a few paid ads on the site and probably cover their nut easily. Its not my responsibility that they are too stupid for that.

Cheats have played a soft schedule (so have the Bills), but they are legit. Difference between them and us is that they got all their “brain fart” games out of the way early in the season and have taken care of business since. Good on them. They should win the division barring a loss this week and another misstep. I came to grips with that after the Bills dumb loss to the fish. Honestly, while I’d obviously love to have the division for nothing other than getting another game at Highmark, I really just want us to come out and match Diggs intensity and get Josh his first W over him since he’s left.
