  1. Past hour
  2. My X-factor is Babich dialing up the right play calls on third down to get the defense off the field. Hoping after a year on the job he can take a step forward and make the most of the talent at his disposal.
  3. why are you never at work with your accomplished colleagues and always here?
  4. A new rule should be that any offensive player who has a gold shield on their jersey is not allowed to be hit hard 😝
  5. I truly hate this game for us. I think we start off slow and the Ravens take advantage. Sloppy, ugly week 1 game. I think the goal for the Ravens is to show Lamar should have been the MVP. He's going to be let loose. The biggest difference in this game is Josh and our offense HAVE to play the Ball defense, while Lamar GETS to face ours. Buffalo-16 Baltimore-38
  6. For everyone complaining in these threads about the show, understand that for people who don’t regularly follow the Bills it was very interesting — I’ve heard that from every person I’ve talked to. Personally, I loved it. People got to see Josh Allen the goofball and Josh Allen the master technician. They got to see how a tight-knit professional organization is run. They got some Dion goofiness. They got some “hard knocks” stories seeing Davidson, Hamler, and Rogers get lots of air time and then be cut. I loved the D line dinner in last night’s episode and seeing Daquan’s character and heart. Some of you guys are just miserable ****s, truthfully.
  7. Rockpile Reviews are always a highlight of TBD...thanks as always @Shaw66
  8. 31-24 Ravens. I want to be wrong, but I don't think I will be.
  9. Funny nexr year topps take over the sports cards licsenses and game used logo cards are comong back panini couldnt use game used the last few years. I bet these start showing up in high end topps products starting next year.
  10. I’m not sure that’s true and it takes 2 to tango. the Bills may have said, “we don’t want to put the message out there that we are just a bunch of funny/goofy/unserious people.” McD and Beane want people to have fun and be themselves, but may feel differently about how much of that they allow broadcast to the world. I think there’s very little drama surrounding this team, outside of finally winning a Super Bowl and finally beating KC in the playoffs. Neither topic was allowed as a story by the Bills obviously. So it’s basically feel good UDFA stuff, character backgrounds on guys who didn’t make the team, and culture fluff.
  11. 12-team home league draft last night with my son, I had the ninth pick and was shocked that CeeDee dropped in my lap. QB - Josh RB - Cook RB - Isiah Pacheco WR - CeeDee Lamb WR - Marvin Harrison Jr TE - Kincaid FLEX - Travis Hunter K - Ka'imi Fairbairn DEF - Eagles Bench - Rashee Rice, Shakir, Bhayshul Tuten, Quinshon Judkins, Luther Burden III, Joe Mixon Happy enough to get some guys I like and feel good rooting for, but most of my bench look like they could be the starting lineup for Paul Crewe's Mean Machine 😬
  12. The secondary will cost us. Bills.........27 Ravens....30
  13. Nobody looks at your stupid memes. All you stupid Maga who can't think for yourself which is all of you need to listen to RFK.
  14. I kind of feel the same way. Ultimately, there is so much luck involved with winning the whole thing you just never know. We have the QB to do it, just need some post season magic!
  15. There were some examples for sure, but with all the hundreds of hours of footage there were comparatively few moments like that. I get that thay didn't want to make it the Josh Allen show, but my main point was that blaming the Bills for 'not letting them show any drama' as the reason for it being boring is letting Hard Knocks off the hook a little too easy IMO. They should have had plenty of fun/interesting content that was not dramatic/controversial/sensitive, but seemed intent on the structure of following the fringe player 'will-he-or-won"t he' narrative - instead of just including more entertaining/interesting stuff
  16. There appears to be so many "ifs" as described by posters above.. * if Bass is healthy to kick * If White can man the 2nd CB position successfully * If Coleman can see growth in the 2nd year * If Kincaid can come out of his 2nd year funk * If Bosa can stay healthy into the playoffs * If the rookie DTs can make a difference * If Cole Bishop can stay healthy and man the safety position * If Samuel can show a glimpse of what he was in last year's playoffs * If Josh Palmer can be that speed threat to take off the top of the defense and yet this Bills team is favored by many to win the SB this year...I am confident they will be alrigth. Go Bills !!!
  17. On the back end why not Justin Simmons? Played with atl last year had a couple picks but it’s gotta be worth a look right? Once tre and Hairston come back I’d actually like our secondary with that lineup
  18. Hoisting the Lamar Hunt Trophy in January in that stadium as the sun sets deep in the western horizon would be a dream ending to the legacy of Highmark stadium and the Buffalo Bills. The Bills Mafia couldn't have asked for anything more (other than winning the Super Bowl in Josh's home state two weeks from that day) than that. When I look at the three teams in the Bills, Ravens and the Chiefs, the biggest gaping difference between the teams is the Defensive coordinator, especially in the playoffs. Zach Orr and Spagnola have built dominating defenses and provide the extra edge as compared to the Bills. Babich, Nielsen and McDermott need to figure it out in the playoffs. Can't wait to see the Bills hoisting the Lombardi in February. Go Bills !!!
  19. I agree, but aside from this board, I haven't seen or heard anyone recognize just how incredible that throw was. Allen also made a less impossible but still jaw-dropping throw against the Jets a few years ago in the face of a fierce rush, with a damaged elbow and the game on the line, hitting Gabe Davis in the chest in stride 60 yards downfield. Yet, because Davis dropped it (see emojis in OP), that throw, which might have been recognized as one of the best in the history of football had Davis not choked, has been wiped from collective memory. My point is not that his teammates suck or that other players don't make incredible plays that don't count, but rather that these plays should count--in the sense that we (fans, commentators, the league) should celebrate them instead of dismissing and forgetting them. Not to the degree of "legitimate" plays, of course, but more than they do now. For god's sake, how many one in a million plays--literally--does an average fan see in their lifetime? Let's geek out and enjoy it! Same goes with extraordinary game-long performances that get wiped from the memory banks because the player's team lost. Exhibit A: Allen's performance in the 13-second game. Had the Bills won, it would have been rightly considered one of the best playoff games by a QB in league history, along with Allen's previous "perfect" game against the Patriots. But because they lost that second game, both games are either forgotten or shrugged off. I get it: Just win, baby and enjoy the (disproportionate) glory. Still, I'd love to see a compilation reel of the best plays that didn't count for whatever reason. That evidence, besides being very entertaining, might change some minds about who the best players really are.
  20. A lot of this stuff describes our WR2 last year, FWIW. less than 35 receptions, check. 50% of yardage in 4 games, check. more games under 20 than over 100, check. 7 games under 40 yards receiving, check.
  21. Ravens 28 Bills 14 Team begins journey to 3 seed in AFC and divisional round exit with a thumping at the hands of a tougher, more talented ravens team.
  22. I wasn't expecting it and I wasn't surprised. They're only going to showcase players who made or didn't make the roster from the guys who they've already focused on in the show. That's why you saw what became of Jimmy Ciarlo, K.J. Hamler, Joe Andreessen, Ja'Marcus Ingram, Shane Buechele, Frank Gore Jr., Casey Rogers, and Zach Davidson on cut down day and their responses to making or not making the team. They were guys that got focused on in the show. It wouldn't have made sense from a dramatic television show storytelling standpoint and/or for people watching that aren't Bills fans to go "here's Tyrell Shavers, you've never heard of him and he wasn't on the show at all - but he made the team".
  23. Lifelong Bills fan from a faraway land.
  24. Allen's humor was on full display when he broke the QB huddle with deliberate (and uncharacteristic) absence of enthusiasm. When he did the "win on three" (or whatever it is he says), the QBs, obviously affecting apathy and sleepiness for the cameras, all displayed the energy of a sloth. It was hilarious. Side note to the finale...anyone notice Deone Walker's obvious limp in one scene? With only the one clip shown, it's to say if it was chronic or a temporary irritation following a specific play. Starting to worry about this D-line that was supposed to be revamped for 2025.
