Cook always looks that way. That doesn't mean he is or ever has been stoned, but yes, it does look that way. I'm neutral on cannabis (have and still occasionally imbibe). It wouldn't work for me to go through life in that state constantly, but I know many true stoners that have absolutely excelled throughout their academic and professional careers (finance, law, engineering, etc.). At the end of the day, perform like 2024 James Cook and I really don't give a crap how high you are.

The annual QB tier rankings from The Athletic

Burrow being in the "top 4" kind of reminds me of how Paul Pierce tried to get himself into the GOAT discussion with MJ, Kobe, and LeBron. -
Again, this is all by design. If they let criminals prey on society for long enough, suddenly socialist/communist "solutions" look like a viable alternative. Destabilization. Once you realize that everything the left is doing is in support of the revolution and not just oh the world has gone insane anecdotes, then these stories aren't WTF moments anymore. That's why they let in 10 million unvetted illegals while insisting that the border was secure. It's all by design.

There was one play hoping someone can find or rememeber. I was in NYC (actually New Jersey) watching the Bills dont recall Jets or Giants, Tasker is the punt returner, as he was catching the ball he gets walloped. Now that would be an easy penalty but not back then. Not only did he not fumble he immediately popped back one, one of the toughest player reaction I had ever seen, like Moorman reaction after the Sean Taylor hit in the Pro Bowl. Those were the days.

and Dawkins for that matter LOL...

I'm actually surprised he didn't get $12.5 just to be ahead of Kamara/Jacobs. But I guess the Gtd money is what's important. Nice, fair deal all around.

I don’t doubt he’s trying to get better. But I also heard a story about running other coverages more when they drafted Kaiir. We’ll see if he succeeds.

Chop Robinson carted off the practice field for Miami. Potentially a very big loss for them. https://www.palmbeachpost.com/story/sports/nfl/dolphins/2025/08/13/miami-dolphins-chop-robinson-injured-detroit-lions/85641775007/ -
LET'S GO BOYS!!!!!

Well I'm certainly glad to hear Ed will eat. He definitely would not have the energy to produce on the field if he went on a hunger strike. At least he won't slim down like Kincaid. This is fantastic news!

Can't execute one... can't stop one.

"Below average run blocker" is another feather in the "reasons not to pay a running back big money" cap.

John Lynch was also a movie star and was vicious... Troy Polamalu does hair commercials for crissakes lol... Chuck Cecil had that prn stache going on... Ronnie Lott was a good lookin guy as far as guys go LOL... ok seriously, I dont see him as unwilling or not violent enough... but I am concerned 2nd year in a row he is missing camp time... seems like he is back today... let see how the season goes... but we need and I mean critically need someone better than Damar in that spot. Alec Anderson I think you mean

Not only all that, but Young quietly put together a string of very nice games in the back end of the year once he replaced Dalton. He took some steps forward and CJ Stroud took steps back last year. Perhaps Young isn't at Strouds level quite yet, but he's narrowed the gap significantly IMO.

Well the Bears certainly have experience in this regard, they did the same with Trubisky. -
Ty reminds me of a faster but less power driven Kevin Faulk back in the earlier Brady Pats dynasty days. Faulk was an elite pass blocking back who was a very good pass catcher. Faulk was the ultimate "third down back" who seemed to always comes up with 1-3 big first downs in key moments and each year would have 1-2 big games while mostly just putting in a few catches here or there. Ty's got more speed but less power than Faulk but he took over that Lions game and always had big moments or just a few helpful keep things on schedule first down catches along with some productive running here or there. Really like having this RB trio in play for another season or two.

There's a danger of him coming back too soon because of the pressure and the injury worsening. I hope McDermott knows what's up with the injury and isn't just venting his frustration. We can afford to do that, he can't.

I have a Question.. From a Business Standpoint.. you think his Agent brought up the fact that he wants to be used more on third downs? There is always more than just money in these agreements. Especially with players as talented as cook. looking forward to reading thoughts on this. If i was cook.. I would want a larger snap count to prove im the same person with 50 or so more snaps a year. And PROVE he can be that dog on 3rd down. Thans for posting this. He is so happy to be in Buffalo. Im happy for the dude!
