Where does Khalil Shakir rank in terms of NFL WRs?
Mikie2times replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Catch % is more of a byproduct of ADOT. RB's are always among the league leaders in catch %. In many ways YAC is influenced in similar fashion as passes closer to the line are intentionally designed for YAC (even though we know he's an elite YAC guy either way). Can he play outside? If the answer is no I don't think he can crack the top 30. In addition, we can't call any pass plays more than 10 yards down field and expect his talents to allow him to be open with consistency. That is a pretty serious issue if you rank him that high. He's a human pinball and probably the best WR in the league within 5 yards. Which is perfect for Brady and the Bills, but limiting as far as league wide comparisons. Which is why we see so much variance in what his value actually is. Some have called out mid 30's, which feels right. Probably top 20 in our offense. I think he's the most important player on our offense outside Josh and that includes Cook. He's always allowing us to stay ahead of schedule. Put Allen in 3rd and short and it's almost impossible. -
I'm happy to hear this. What happened to him was really tough - hoping the best for him.

Are we sure he's not getting money from the RNC? Nothing they'd like better than the return of Hunter to public life. -

Where does Khalil Shakir rank in terms of NFL WRs?
GASabresIUFan replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Among WRs Shakir was 35th in total receiving yards, 21st in receptions, 34th in targets, 2nd in total yards after catch (YAC) and 5th in Catch%. At worst he is in the top 35. Given his catch % and YAC, I'd argue he's closer to top 25. I apologize for using facts/stats from which to base my opinion. -
You guess? Lol, I find your lack of conviction a little disturbing, amigo.

Only a damn fool wouldn't read on to note that some of those "Mexicans" are ... MENNONITES! They send out new colonies all over the place. South America. Canada. Texas. Africa. Of course measles is endemic in other places. The point is that the Texas/NM outbreak and most of the Canadian cases are traceable to Mennonite outbreaks first, because those communities have abysmal vaccination rates. Sorry to burst your bubble. White people, including white immigrants: they can spread disease too. Who knew? It's about calling out stupid racist/anti-immigrant tweets that are re-posted here with no concern whatsoever for whether they're true. (I know you didn't post it, but please don't feel compelled to defend it)

My first thought before watching is this. "the wgr interview". Will it be in there?

What Kirby mentioned would be my plan. I can easily pay off a cheap PSL before next season, so it would not be a credit score hit. Just wondering how people might feel if I intentionally am buying seats knowing I'll drop them in 2-5 years, when there may be people that want to buy for 30 years that can't get in, if it sells out.

That wasn't Bishop, it was Kincaid -
If he fails to renew his season tickets then PSL ownership would revert back to the Bills. If the PSLs are not paid off, it doesn’t change much except for the risk of collections and a credit ding. The Bills are not using a 3rd party loan provider (according to AI) so it would be up to them how they handle it.

For sure. Shakir as well. I think his contract is great value for us and also a very smart move for him and his career. Bernard, I think he got a little more than I expected considering his penchant for injury and play in 2024. -
Sharp Analysis: Best front sevens in NFL (Bills 8th)
Thurman#1 replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean, yeah, they have a ton to prove. But knowing the future is impossible, though predicting or guessing right is not. To me it's with the reasonably possible set of outcomes. A bit on the high side, but not irrational or illogical at all. Just looked at Cover1's looks at why the defense had problems on third downs. They largely said the pressure was genuinely good, but the balls came out quickly and the defensive backfield wasn't fooling anybody the way they had in years before with Power and Hyde, so teams were completing the quick routes and converting the longer third downs. They had a lot of quick pressure on 3rd downs, but turning them into sacks, not so good, largely because even when the pressure was quick, the ball was out before they got there. They were 11th overall in quick pressures (2.5 seconds or less), 9th in quick pressure rate, and had the 7th fastest time to pressure rate in the league. (from the Cover 1 video below).
