  1. Past hour
  2. Between yesterday and today, probably the best slate of games I can remember in a while.
  3. Chargers need to go 3-2 over their last five if KC wins out. They lose, they play KC in Arrowhead next weekend. Followed by 3 more tough games. If the Chargers lose tonight, KC’s path to the playoffs gets real, if not likely. Depends how much one believes in the Chargers…
  4. Because he was the most overhyped Emperor’s New Clothes player in sports history?
  5. I agree I think they should cut him and save the money but he is 5-11 192 lbs about the size of all the other safeties we have had over the last 2 years except bishop who is 6-2 207lbs. Out of all the times people have mentioned converting safties to corners he makes the most sense. Has played the well run over the year. Excelled in zone coverage and knowing where to be. And although seems on the downside of his career as a corner he is only 29 and could potentially give 2-3 years of quality Saftey play poyer 6’ 190lbs hyde 6’ 196 lbs hamlin 6’ 201 lbs rapp 6’ 208 lbs savage 5-11 198 lbs lewis 5-9 183 lbs hancock 6’ 195 lbs
  6. You need to know whether it requires a C clamp or D clamp. That takes time, usually a half.
  7. Do you think someone on the Colts message board started a thread saying “We should go after Mahomes…now hear me out.”
  8. You make a lot of valid points but football's not always x + y = z Patriots stopped the greatest show on turf and Bill belichick and the Giants kept The k gun under 20 there's a lot of chess pieces even when an elite offense plays an elite defense Fortunately the bills will not play a quarterback who is as good as a passer the rest of the year as Joe b.. his mental makeup and pure passing ability is as good as it gets in the world Even if the other quarterback is having a day your job is to play all 60 minutes and try to make as many plays as you can... Christian Benford did that most when it mattered Ed coming back can really help our defensive front especially in the playoffs with some push-up the gut But I get it... Fortunately Benford, and hairston and bishop is a solid core in the secondary going forward
  9. Everyone rooting for Chargers because of Chiefs? Do people realize Chiefs have 7 losses right now, and Chargers are tied with us if they win in WC race? We need to distance ourselves from other WC teams, and if we cant take division, at least grab the 5 seed. I think Texans continue their run and get the 3 seed/take the South over Jacksonville. Thats the only team to avoid in 1st round IMO
  10. I mean they are down Jones, Richardson for the season and Leonard apparently is hurt. You’re not picking up a street Free Agent or UDFA and winning. A guy like Rivers, sadly, is probably a good option at this point
  11. Hell, they could still win their division. No way they let their backup go, as long as that is a possibility.
  12. I agree but Maye has taken a noticeable huge step forward this year. Mind you I don’t expect him to win MVP this year I 💯 expect Stafford to get it
  13. i would guess those figures you highlight include yards after catch that has to figure into the 'stretching the field' claim
  14. I think the Maye and McDaniels match was perfect for the Pats. He was the Pats OC for the last three SB victories and always has been a top tier offensive play caller.
  15. 44 and hasn't played football in 5 years. What could go wrong?
  16. And if he doesn't work out, there's always......
  17. Yup I’ve said it too Miami is kind of a weird dark horse. Their schedule isn’t easy but none of those games thru can’t win. I want them to lose to the Steelers though so Pittsburgh can stay a top of North
  18. I guess they had to? The top 5 ranked conference winners are automatically in. Duke winning the ACC and the MWC having an off-year created some havoc
  19. How was josh allen not an option for the himmy award?
  20. At +1400, I just threw some money down on it.
  21. If Allen has another 3 or 4 TD performance in a win against the Pats, coming off their bye, and on the road, then it's full steam ahead on the MVP hype train again.
  22. Devils advocate what do you think the Pats record be with anyone besides Maye at QB they are lucky have 6 wins right now..
  23. I would. The colts are a mess and one other collapse could get the bengals a WC. No way I let him go if I’m them. Not to mention they might need him at some point the rest of the way.
  24. So I don't necessarily have a problem with a talented offense putting points on the scoreboard. I get it, Cincy when healthy can do that to just about anyone other than maybe Houston. The path to beating them is what we did yesterday, try to put up 40 and create a couple negative plays on defense along the way. My overarching complaint, and this is more about the roster construction than the coaching yesterday, is that we spent all this money and draft picks on the defense only for us to still end up in these shootouts. Like we're acknowledging before the game even starts that Cincy is putting up 30+ no matter what, so why do we not want offensive weapons that can keep pace in a game like that? What is the point of investing in the defense as much as we have at the expense of the offense if we're just going to throw our hands up and say "nothing more we could have done" when another offense has its way with us? Either it's true that we need to keep making big investments in the defense, or it's true that nobody can stop an elite offense when they're clicking. Those statements can't both be true. If the second statement is true (and I acknowledge that it mostly is) then the only viable solution is an offense that can match.
  25. Dolphin fans aren’t much better talking about their undefeated season and now how they are going to win out and make the playoffs.. All I know is if my Pats don’t make the SB it better be the Bills because any other AFCE team I could be happy for lol
