  1. Past hour
  2. It’s an inferiority complex I noticed when I lived in Buffalo: “We’re just a poor, declining rust belt town that is lucky to have any sort of pro sports franchise. We should be happy with the Bills and Sabres no matter how bad they are.” There is actually some truth to it…if the 4 major sports leagues were starting over today, there’s no way Buffalo has a team in any of the four. But I can’t accept that attitude when the Bills are part of a league that’s built on parity, where small-market franchises are at zero disadvantage vs the NY, Chicago and LAs of the world…
  3. Big game today, not backsliding - keep the momentum, Big game. Go Bills!!
  4. These teams spend a lot of money grading players, hiring people to work the analytics etc. Those analytics and the eye test show there is such a large gap between Bernard [73 of 86 lb] & Milano [83 of 86 lb] vs. Thompson [5 of 86 lb] this season, just puzzled why you wouldn't put your best lineup on the field in such a HUGE game.
  5. So another Groot?
  6. And what about the outbreaks the have zero to do with immigration? They’ve been mentioned in this thread. It’s not a trust me bro moment at all. Just watch over the next few years as these numbers grow due to massive amounts of misinformation after Covid. There’s going to be a point where you just can’t deep blaming immigrants. I’m not saying there’s zero blame there; but it’s yet another excuse for bad policy. Were were also told the immigrants are the cause of crime, housing prices, lack of jobs, etc. now it’s measles. edit: where are you getting your numbers from 5-7%?
  7. He's probably a Herbert level QB. Not on Allens level imo
  8. All I can say is Drake Maye is 2nd string on this team. Any other questions?
  9. I think most of us already realized the team- except the offense has James Cook who is a legit superstar playmaker, and the defense has some emerging playmakers like Benford, Bosa, Bishop, Hairston, Thompson. Of course Oliver and Milano are consistent playmakers when healthy. In other words, while I like much of how Cosell rates players and knows schemes he is a bit weak on this one and actually who cares- because we know this team is capable of winning it.
  10. are you going to tell your kids about how many wild card games you saw the most gifted qb in the history of the league win? and how impressive that is because Chan Hailey couldn’t even make the playoffs with fitz? It’s sad I’m apparently not allowed to have expectations now because the team was bad before.
  11. I hear you. I just don’t see McD keeping a healthy captain off the field. I am offering a solution which puts arguably the two best LB’s on the field in positions they can both play at a high level.
  12. This run defense has been markedly better since Thompson has been manning the Mike LB position. He needs to stay there.
  13. I see our peaceful friends are at it again. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15382321/Bondi-shooting-terror-attack.html
  14. He just needs to be on the field. If Bernard’s ankle is healed and he can move, and the arm won’t limit him getting off blocks, play Bernard at MLB and Thompson at WIL. Sprinkle in Milano and then use Williams as the spy in obvious passing downs. Pressure is all on NE. After listening to Sal talk about how NE is treating this game, it’s going to be a tough victory. NE views this as a return of dominance. A “passing of the torch”. Time for the Bills to step up and say, “not today”. Pats may still win the East, but don’t let them beat you to do it. Go Bills!
  15. Finding steps in a big pile of the iron law of projection. Again.
  16. And I know Bernard is listed as questionable, but, for the love of God Sean, PLEASE keep Thompson in @ MLB.
  17. Casey, i dont have the athletic, so I’ll take your word in it. To me, Coleman should be the 6th and nothing more. Draft status doesn't matter. I believe Cooks will supplant Shavers. Not replace, but his role will grow once settled into this team. I agree with Buscaglia, now that Coleman is on the sideline. They only have to be so dangerous, as the RBs can catch and are more dangerous in soace. Kinkaid looks like he is getting better with his body. Knox and Hawes can keep growing in their roles. We have if Brady uses his head and gets a little more creative. One last thought. BEAT THE CHEATS!
  18. It would be awesome if Cook has like 28 for 148, 4 catches for 50 yds , 2 tds. Today I'm eating, salami sandwiches with provolone, Plus jumbo chili dogs with shredded cheese Carb smart bread for both BBQ pork rinds Zero sugar root beer
  19. yeah its fair; we get all of the AFC West and NFC North next year, meaning both Bills and Pats play the Broncos no matter what and the 1st/2nd placers in the AFC divisions are pretty close, so maybe no real advantage there to finishing 2nd this year. Pats got their real advantage this year with the last place schedule. Pats/Bills play most of the same stronger teams next year. Not sure how they do home and away.. I suppose the 2nd place team gets some leg up there.
