New York State (which includes NYC's large population) has a total firearm death rate of approximately 4.7 per 100,000 people, one of the lowest in the U.S.. The New York City area is specifically noted as having one of the lowest rates among major regions in the country. Using a terrible event to try to slam an entire city is just wrong. It was pretty obvious that Bowles set out to stop the quick pass to Shakir and stop Cook from rushing. And it worked up until the end when Cook started finding some room. But that was because the passing game opened it up for him as the game progressed.

If he traded places with, say, Trevor Lawrence, their careers would change drastically - in opposite directions.

This 4 day stretch were make or break for this season. If we lost today and then let down in Houston, we probably would have spiraled and fallen out of the playoffs. Now get ready to go play a very physical team on a short week. That game is huge. Get the W in Houston and you have a week and a half to get healthy and regroup.
