They also need to keep winning if they want a shot at the division and the 1 seed. It’s going to be a tough road either way

Republican Self Reflection Thread

this what I was disagreeing with "Fortunately for the GOP, the Democrats are going to over interpret the results of last night and double down in opposition to deportations and in support of very niche curated ideas that rich white progressives love like trans issues and socialism."" -
I agree with rest for many of these with exception to two. The Fish are toast. Make sure Hancock and Hairston okays a bunch as they need reps and can be our future.

Let’s have McDermott play Defensive Coordinator!

Ok well how about "compete for a SB this year while preserving our ability to compete for a SB next year and the year after." I might be giving "people who want a more sophisticated passing offense" too much credit. For starters, we already had that, and we became a more productive overall offense in year by moving away from that to more of a ball control offense despite arguably not having the right personnel to do so. Now we do have the right personnel for the latter as well as an OC who wants to run that kind of offense, and yet fans still want to go back to something that didn't work as well under previous leadership. But even if you want to argue that was all on Dorsey and point to the success we had under Daboll, the reality is we have Brady who has the trust of the FO and isn't going to run that stuff regardless of who we bring in. Others have pointed out we made calls for #1s. I understand why we did that - Keon isn't getting better. Hopefully, we're able to find an affordable alternative in the offseason either via draft or trade when we have more opportunities to make it work under the cap. In season trades are tough. Best outcome is usually someone like washed up Cooper who you burn a valuable pick for. Shaheed would've been a complimentary piece for us that doesn't move the needle. So yeah...pining for "more wr weapons" and "more sophisticated passing offense" feels a lot like missing the point of where we were, how we evolved to this point, and who's still in charge running the show.

Why are you saying “nope”.. that’s exactly what Erickson referenced. And Shapiro is 100% correct in that. Gen Z might be more socially conservative but if they can’t get a job, pay rent, afford groceries.. they’ll keep voting back and forth until someone makes that not so. -
I'm an Ohio State fan and if the Jets were smart they would wait for Sayin. That kid is impressive. And if they really manage all those picks wisely they might be able to land the Buckeyes great WR Jeremiah Smith. They could swap their likely #1 pick this season for enough draft capital to enable them to get the first 2 picks in 2027.

If I remember correctly, I think we missed out on getting Addison. So Beane believing in value selected Kincaid who at one point was ranked 10th.

I am excited about the potential upside of DT Phidarian Mathis

Had Star and that was it for a while. Jordan Phillips and Daquan Jones are big bodies. Not having Oliver hurts but also makes it harder to scheme runs against. Off the bus the Bills Oline and Dline are something right now. Slowly becoming ass kickers on both sides. -
Game week thread - Bills at Dolphins

As an aside I wasn't being sarcastic I was actually excited that we might get a healthy Milano for the rest of the season. When he's healthy he is still a force on defense. -
These are insane takes to be making on Wednesday

Love Kincaid and he’s the better player than Knox but that pick was a bit of a headscratcher seeing as they tied Knox into an extension right before. But going back to that 2023 there isn’t a great deal of WRs who are decent after that. Rashee Rice and an up and down Jayden Reed is about it.

Particularly at that position group. This reminds me that Elijah Pitts, the former Packer running back and father of former Orchard Park HS star and Bills player Ronnie Pitts, went to a small school called Philander Smith College. Apparently it took Lombardi a few months before he was certain that it was Elijah Pitts from Philander Smith College, and not Philander Smith from Elijah Pitts College.

Bills Draft History - The Price For Shaheed
Brianmoorman4jesus replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall
Shaheed isn’t good. It’s truly that simple. The price means very little because the Bills are probably smart enough to realize he’s just guy. Oh did you see how little Seattle gave up for him? Yeah…because he isn’t good. -
Fax Hairston and Wax Hairston say no.
