For all you McDermott haters, who would you want? (Now a poll)

even then it isn't tbh last season exemplified 'more than the usual' kind of luck -
The final play to Shakir. Samuel was wide open for easy TD

If Allen stayed in the pocket, he was open in NFL terms. Sure yhe safety and corner would have closed in on him. If he goes that way then the underneath receiver was another option because thzmat corner was between those 2 receivers -
The only way to make last night remotely tolerable is a KC loss...which is why it won't happen lol

My god, do you hear that? It’s Gabe Davis’ music!
TheBrownBear replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was told that Palmer and Moore were elite (or at least very good) separation guys. So, what's the deal here? Is it scheme/Brady, Josh or can these guys really just not get open (which does appear to be the case with Keon)? As for Gabe Davis, I had the same thought this morning when the YouTube algorithm sucked me into watching the 13 seconds game again. I know the Chiefs defensive backfield was atrocious, but still it was hard not to think that we could use that version of Gabe Davis again. -
The Chiefs flogging of the Ravens last week looks less impressive now ..

Have that same energy for Dawson Knox

The Case being made here might lead one to an earlier than expected conclusion about our dear Ed. But it's not a good look so far Mr Hochuli Thanks you folks who look sht up 👍

Gabe will stay in the practice squad. He's still busy teaching the young wide receivers how to drop passes. -

Bring in Asante Samuel Jr for a workout/physical -
Definitely calling out either Landon or Bernard on that specific play. We do tend run more contain/spy with LBs, but maybe a different look here? Confusion either way, which reflects poorly on player/prep. I will say, they adjusted in 4th qtr and used Shaq as the spy. Flushed the qb out and Shaq scrapes and makes the sack. I think we got too cute last night, as Coach said himself...on both sides of the ball. Confusion, out of position, penalties, turnovers--- poor execution and coaching. Beane hasn't helped either, when you see Gonzales and Davis lock up 1-1 on our boundary receivers all night and shut them down. Then you can funnel coverage to the middle and drop a safety for the run....takes away 2 of our strengths.

This thread should be in the dictionary next to the definition of “Monday Morning Quarterback”. Allen played a “good” not “great” game. He had a 100+ passer rating, 300 yards, 2 TDs and 1 turnover (I attribute the fumble to Knox). If you are watching the game, you are seeing that nobody is getting open. Allen is floating around buying time and still throwing to blanketed guys. That is a “good” game from a QB. Our team can only win if our QB has a “great” game. 16 QBs had a worse passer rating than Allen this week, and 9 of them won their games. Our team only wins if Allen carries them. Otherwise they lose. In general nobody (other than Cook sometimes) is making a big play in crunch time on either side of the ball (credit to Oliver vs the Ravens, but it is rare). Other teams have QBs like Bo Nix playing terribly and still winning games against good teams on the road. It’s been this way for like 3 seasons at least. -
This wasnt the only one. I dont know how many of hhesexwere designed roll outs you his throwing side vs pressure forcing him that way. There was not that containment on that side. That is why they should have reversed the pressure coming from his preferred D ide to roll forcing him to try and throw from the other side.

1 get the ball to cook in the slot or level 1 2 stop telegraphing the play calls -
Could be wrong but the Jags can win this.

No More Whiteouts again ever in Buffalo Bills history

Amen to that- unless the white out is caused naturally by a blizzard ! I feel partly to blame- I did not have my Bills mug and my wife did not have her jersey on. -

We're in a tough situation. Josh Allen is so good that he'll probably always carry us to the divisional round at minimum - but the roster & coaching isn't enough to get us to a title without "more than the usual" kind of luck. The division race is going to be tight this year. If we don't win it - would they see that as a reason to make a change? Or if we bow out in the divisional again? Josh is going to be 30. I feel unappreciative, because both Beane & McDermott are partly responsible for the change in our fortunes. But if we can't capitalize on this year, when the AFC is weak - it's a real indicator. And you can't wait until Josh is 32 or 33. Now is really the time. -
I just knew it. and we got the low resolution one didn't we Ralph !!!
