Rich Kotite wants one more chance at redemption. Matt Patricia would love to get another chance. Ray Handley is tired of retirement, doing nothing but sitting around his living room watching football on TV. Kay Stephenson has a lot more experience than his 1st coaching stint with the Bills. Hue Jackson wants just one more chance.

Would never work. Allen with a Diggs ends up being drama. This offense is not focused on one person. Meaning the Me, Me, Me mindset does not work. Allen is a star but is not a prima donna, if he was I bet he would have been traded already.

Does Emerson, Lake & Palmer count? Jazzed up this Copland classic pretty good too:

The Reids & McVays will outcoach just about any other coach in the league. You just don't pick up the phone & get a HOF coach. KC got extremely lucky that Reid was available after Philly fired him.

Roscoe. The problem is he already has a job in SF, and not going anywhere. Lynch would never be dumb enough to fire him. Most good teams wouldn’t, hint hint.

I sometimes listen to Classical. When I was living near San Francisco, I would drive to Grizzly Peak, put on the classical station KDFC, and just get lost for a couple of hours. We have WNED in Buffalo, and I have Sirius XM, but I go back to listening to KDFC online. It's just a great classical music station.

I would find Shanahan intriguing. He has made multiple Superbowls with much worse QBs. He reminds me of a younger Andy Reid who will probably never get it done in his first stop without a truly gifted QB, but is an unequivocally great offensive coach. And paired with an elite QB, has dynastic potential.

I was stunned 😲 😯 😮

For all the critics, who are you hiring to get over the top? Specifically a name. When approached, no one ever seems to have the answer.

I love how people act like that 9-7 season was some Lombardi-esque coaching job. Mularkey and Marrone both went 9-7 too (and those teams were markedly better than the 2017 squad) but just didn't luck out with seeding.

My main focus will be on the DL. This is the unit we need the most improvement. Hoecht (and where he lines up), Sanders and walker are the guys I’ll be focusing on the most. The backup safeties are next up and they’ll probably be playing ample snaps this season based on Rapp and Bishops style of play/injury history. Not sure what Justin Simmons would take to get into the building, but we probably should’ve brought him in. I’m worried that we might be seeing a lot of the Cam Lewis / Dakar pairing back there this season. Praying that I’m wrong after that, it’ll be interesting to see if any of the WRs (shavers, Gosnell, Wilkerson, Cain or Birgil can elevate their games.

The McD conundrum to me gets simplified by this: What is the purpose of having a defensively minded HC? I get he's the coach for the entire team but why does a team favor an offensive minded coach versus a defensive one? So what happens when the side of the ball your coach is supposed to be an expert in, fails you consistently? Whats the point in having a defensive coach if your defenses fail the team at critical moments in games? I would think you'd want a defensive HC so that it doesnt fail you in the big game. But that is indeed what's been going on. We have the MVP in all of the NFL, playing lights out in the biggest games, playing as close to perfect as can be & we still cant win the big game because our defense cant make the stop when it counts? And i know nothing is ever as simple as that, but im generalizing the situation. Now I'll always credit McD for his role in changing the culture here. But the culture is changed, job well done there. Now its about getting to the SB & winning it. If we keep failing because our D can't make the big play when it counts, then we need to do something to fix that. At some point you have to make a change, something has to change, for Allen's sake & for all our sakes.

I'm not sure he even knows what he meant by his own comments.

I’d offer Cook a touch above the Williams deal and if he balks, run him into the ground this year. All the leverage is with Beane and the Bills. If Cook holds out, he loses money and doesn’t show what he can do on the field again. If he wants to risk playing this year without an extension then give him 75% of the snaps. If he balls out, good for him. We always hav the franchise tag but I doubt Beane would ever use it on a RB because of the hard cap implications.

I thought the same. I guess he’s inferring other teams have to game plan for he and Tee.

Yuuuuuuup. 1st quarter was like 4 of 9 for 35 yards. I'm sure this won't be used in a million memes.
