  1. Past hour
  2. Because rushing from the blindside also possibly allows for a sack. Rush right at him from where he can fully see it gives more time to fully react and possibly throwing to a quick out or hot read.
  3. Appreciate these details honestly. I really never paid much attention to which Refs oversee gamedays week to week etc. Now I am a little pissed. I did not watch the Game btw But yea Bills needed to overcome the setbacks an win these games to be SB ready. Hope they learn Bills have to overcome new obstacles each week , but let the Players play. Fairly and evenly judged. fg Ed ..... and Coleman ...😶
  4. Eleven fricking penalties enforced. Eleven!!!! Awful.
  5. He needed to get them to 2nd down and long or 3rd down to start calling Time outs. Once they got the first down after the first time out, stop calling them and make NE call theirs. If you happen to get a takeaway, great, you still have two timeouts. If there is a big negative play, great, then call a timeout. Otherwise make them go fast and use their timeouts.
  6. Would've worked out if they'd stopped them there. The first two made sense, but they made the first down. I assume that the one after that came because in some way we needed it to communicate or Sean saw something he didn't like. That third one didn't make sense in terms of trying to get us another chance.
  7. If his only shortcoming was blowing contain, it seems like he's emulating Bosa quite well.
  8. You have to remember we are playing with two less defensive players. No Safeties. I've seen it every game where our Safeties are so far back, slow, reactive vs proactive. The opponents players are catching the ball then these guys decide to take an action on the play. I'm sure their being told to play this way.
  9. Erik is rock solid, perhaps he means like a DB deflecting the ball and not a collision/impact breakup or DL deflection? Pro Football Reference also has us with 11 PBUs. No one on the defense has more than 2 PBUs, maybe that is what he meant.
  10. That had to feel good, and therapists charge by the hour. We are a great deal! I believe they were “experimenting” with a live simulation. Like the famous jet lag “experiment”. Yep! It’s real, Roger! Let’s test gravity next. If I drop a bowling ball, do you think it will affect your foot below?
  11. Coleman gets all the criticism because he’s being benched for poor behavior
  12. This combo might not be the complete solution but it is the kind of creative thinking needed from the coaches. This personnel group and more man-to-man physical coverage play on the back end in combination with the full d line group later in the season could be what's needed to get past the Chiefs and win the SB.
  13. I apologize for the confusion. My post might have been poorly worded. I suspect that the Bills can get any HC to want this job. I don’t think that the Rams or 49ers are trading McVay or Shanahan. Why would they? Why would we trade Josh? We wouldn’t. I have zero interest in those washed up olds. Gruden, McCarthy, and BB are all a hard no. If you aren’t “now” I have no interest. The game evolves too much to be looking for “years ago” to work. That’s an awful idea. I was saying that Patricia may or may not be gettable as the DC. The Bills probably have to make him a $4M - $5M a year guy to do that. He will get a raise at OSU and is already highly compensated.
  14. no … we live in a simulation…
  15. Ya think? There is a lot of BBFS going on here. It's not just the loss, but who it was to and how well Maye played. The fear is that we are now entering a new 20-year Pats dynasty. And because we're Bills fans, we can now imagine a 4-13 record.
  16. No more gimmicks Goodell & the NFL, just let them play football the way the NFL was intended, on grass, In America !!
  17. Come on. They were damn good in the first half. Not in the second, unfortunately. After the break, Maye really had his way. Just a bad game.
  18. This is just McD playing one dimensional chess.
  19. Totally agree - I'd be very curious to see how other key rivals of ours (eg Chiefs, Ravens) look in similar tables. To get at whether it's a Hochuli issue or a Hochuli-Bills issue. Thanks!!
  20. I disagree with you. I think many fans are quick to blame everyone else but Allen, even when he clearly plays poorly. I love Josh Allen and have always been a supporter and will continue to be a supporter. I am not a negative poster. I am often defending Allen, McDermott, and others. But I call like I see it, and that means assigning blame where I see it. If Allen doesn't turn it over twice, takes open receivers, and doesn't scramble out of clean pockets, the Bills win handily. He wasn't the only problem, not by far. There were tons of other culprits as well. But he was one of them.
  21. As others have pointed the Bills have 11 pass breakups. It’s also worth noting that the Bills defense has faced the second fewest pass attempts per game in the league. Hard to get pass breakups when the other teams not throwing it.
  22. I think people are overreacting a bit 🤣
  23. Allen has off Days. For whatever reason(s) Not sure i can reach the full conclusion that nobody has to fear deep threat anymore. If they are not over throwing the LBs much yet and challenging the secondary. They will. They will have to. Ebb and flow of the Season. teams are figuring each other out. Bills coaching did not seem to study Maye and the offense as well as they. should have How did old man Diggs get that many yards on Bills ? Thats my issue !
  24. This will be the logline on Beane's pink slip if that day ever comes.
  25. The advanced metrics were junk His production on the field is what any good evaluator should go by, and it wasn't even good enough to be a starting wideout...yet we paid him a fairly large contract. I think we spent very poorly in free agency
