Just take those old records off the shelf I'll sit and listen to 'em by myself Today's music ain't got the same soul I like that old-time rock 'n' roll Don't try to take me to a disco You'll never even get me out on the floor In ten minutes I'll be late for the door I like that old-time rock 'n' roll

This roster is a disaster however…..

I mean does mahomes not have crazy playoff stats too? Lol reminds me of how Brady blocked Peyton manning for years but then manning broke through 9 years in Josh is obviously amazing but there’s a handful of hof-level or close to hof level guys in the afc right now it’s honestly pretty crazy. Idk that the nfc has any…maybe Stafford the way this year is going -
They’re amusing. So next you’re going to tell me power rankings have no merit?

Win the turnover battle decisively, tackle, pressure. -
Among other things, he apparently got his foot stepped on in practice last week. I was watching the Bills on one screen and had the Ravens on the other (love watching them lose). There were so many opportunites for the Ravens in that game. Bizzzaro rulings/overulings, dropped passes and a Buffalo Bills playoff MVP, Mark Andrews, finished it off for them.

the good news is there is more room for you to join on their bandwagon should you choose **** the chiefs

That was kind of my point in mentioning NE. Brady and Belichick won the SB in 2001, then missed the playoffs at 9-7 in 2002. I was relieved that it was a blip on the radar (it being their SB win) and meant they would just go away. I was incorrect in that assessment. Brady tore his ACL in like 2007 or 2008, but that year doesn't count. My point is they might be down now so we should enjoy it, but I wouldn't count them totally out.

Maybe Andrews is looking to make a switch to MLB? Pretty good tip drill there.

I bring up posts from DECADES ago. Great memory. On the other hand, if a person is starting multiple threads on the same topic, and posting multiple times on that same thread like a machine gun (cough, Homelander) then you can argue Trump/Epstein/Hitler and other such concepts are hanging out in that person's head "rent free." That isn't to say he even has a good memory. I think he just goes with whatever social media is telling him that day. No, accusations of "rent free" are not going to make YOUR pertinent posts go away. The internet is forever.

How about being aggressive from the start and not being afraid to send pressure early, do not allow the Pats to dink and dunk up and down the field while chewing up clock. Don't put themselves in trailing situation, playing against a young QB on the road they need to get shots/hits and sacks on him early sand get him off his game -
Honestly, their GM may be responsible for doing the same thing that Beane did: invest in sub-par WRs, hope to elevate mostly C and some B level defensive talent, and hang on to aging players.

9-4 , yet it's a terrible roster 😅

I've said this before during our losses and I think it bears repeating even though they pulled out an all time classic win Sunday: I think the coaches have a real hubris issue when it comes to gameplanning. They often come out with a very similar playstyle no matter who the opponent is, as if to say "We're the Bills, we don't care how you play, we are going to out-execute you". I think McDermott truly believes at the beginning of every game that they'll get home with 4 and that the soft zone will protect them from getting scored on with a high variance big play. This season it hasn't worked at all, which is why we see such drastic difference in the 1st and 2nd halves. They get punched in the mouth and McD realizes the vanilla play isn't gonna cut it, so they adjust and show more exotic stuff that they didn't think they would need until the playoffs. Don't get me twisted though, Brady has the same issue, he just has Allen (and Cook to a lesser degree) who can make something out of nothing at a rate unheard of in the NFL.

I understand what he’s saying, and it’s definitely intended for Hopkins but I’m not sure that football gets there. He was wide open but the ball kind of comes out funny of Lamar’s hands and either wouldn’t have enough on it to get there or allow the defenders would have closed on it.
-
I don't think we changed much as the game went on, we just had guys make great plays at the right times. But in general the soft starts into adjustments has been the story since McDermott got here, even under Frazier. For many years it was just a given that the other team would score on their opening drive, and then the defense would get better towards the end of the game (before sadly going into off coverage and allowing the other team to get the final score they need, but that's a diff story). We needed to make some game-changing plays to have a chance and we did- that's it in a nutshell.

Nope. That was years later.
