  1. Past hour
  2. McDermott needs to have this team ready to go on short rest. Margin for error is gone if they want to win division and compete for the # 1 seed. Offense needs to limit turnovers and on defense figure out how to limit these big runs which continue to kill team. In the offseason need to get bigger and physical on the front 7 tired of seeing undersized defense get pushed around all over the place.
  3. Agreed, but I kind of feel the super dink and dunk passing game we had seen was more due to personnel issues. McD's philosophy for years has been jump onto a lead early. If Palmer, Davis, and Hardman really opened up the offense like how it looked yesterday, we may see a more aggressive (but still balanced) offense.
  4. Palmer has looked pretty impressive whenever I’ve seen him josh just wasn’t lookin his way a while lot early in the year. The two games we’ve looked awful he’s missed significant time in or missed the game entirely
  5. I could wrap my head around him spelling Shakir lightly and maybe some reps for run game. He'd need a good week at practice and a total attitude change. Could be great for him to have to earn it, instead of gift wrapping the snaps hes seen. Could also completely undo him and see him off roster in 2-3 weeks. Im not worried either way about him
  6. So what? We’ll take them down and be on to the divisional round.
  7. There’s 1760 yds in a mile. With the state of our current run defense, would it be outside the realm of possibility to see Derrick Henry rush for a quarter mile or more?
  8. Yeah, I agree. I'm big on going with what's working, and yesterday without Keon it was working well. The only caveat I have is that if Kincaid is still out, which I expect, AND Shakir had any kind of setback, I would have him active to work in the slot with Palmer and Gabe outside.
  9. That would be the wrong strategy with our defense. We need to get ahead especially in this game.
  10. I have no idea what will happen, but the Texans needed a last-second FG to beat the Titans yesterday. So there is that.
  11. You can't. Overall he does pretty well there, and much better in the draft overall, which is how this should be looked at. Certainly two major failures in Cody Ford and Basham. But if you're looking at all early draft picks over 7 or 8 years, you'll find pretty much every team has several poor picks. It's how things go. Look at the Chiefs, who in the top two rounds over the last seven years have picked Felix Audike-Uzomah, Skyy Moore, Willie Gay Jr., Mecole Hardman and Juan Thornhill, all in the 2nd round, and you can throw in Edwards-Helaire in the 1st. Even in the first round, success rates run at around 50%, and it's lower later in the draft where we generally end up. Wanna look at how a GM does in the draft? Simple, look at how he does in the draft. Not some part of the draft that can be separated to further some narrative or other. The draft. That's what you look at if you want to find out how someone drafts.
  12. That's amateur stuff. He's got to learn to step up his game....
  13. Allen will be completely off his leash with scrambling and designed runs IMO. it will go back on at some point. I dont expect 44 or whatever again, but hoping we find a way to make it work
  14. I actually did everything, sat in the same spot, and wore everything I did for the Atlanta and Miami losses. I needed to cleanse the bad Karma from the things that were not working. I was sweating it for a bit, thankfully the team came through.
  15. You seem a little Karen-ish with all your admonitions. Whatever works for you.
  16. Shakir Palmer Shavers Davis in no particular order should be the primary WR's going forward. Clearly
  17. let Josh run the 2 minute drill kgun offense.
  18. I really think it had a lot to do with the short turnaround to a Thursday game. Not sure they thought he way physically ready to play 2 games in 5 days. I fully expect him back on Thursday.
  19. Shaq is older, and you want him ready for January. I wouldn't rush him back
  20. Sal talking about playing a ball control low scoring game against Houston. To me I can’t think of anything that makes less sense. Houston is comfortable playing that way. That’s actually playing into their strengths. Houston’s defense is good but they can’t score. I want to get 24-30 on then there’s very little chance they can score that much. Even on us. The last thing I want to do is to get in a low possession, 13-9 game with them. We need to let it fly and try our best to use our strength. Do not play a low possession game. We need as many chances as possible
  21. Can’t really sit him when Shaq is hurt…we have seen this before with Milano I have to say where he is absolutely terrible after returning from injury then turns it on late. Seems like he is very taped up and it looks like he’s probably got some kind of harness on too. if Shaq was healthy milano would definitely be sitting right now because I don’t think he’s quite healed up in the first place.
  22. Despite the extensive discussion about our needs at WR, DB, and DL during the trade deadline, the gaps at LB often go overlooked.
  23. Idk, I was surprised at how effective Ray Davis was on KO's. I'd leave him on that. And at least that gives him some level of reps to keep him in the game mentally
  24. Would’ve loved to see his career without all of the reoccurring injuries and respect what he has played through in his time in Buffalo but yea hes heading the wrong direction and paired with an undersized Bernard, it really shows in the run game. Dude has been a stud for the bills and could still be a rotational guy maybe grabbing a few snaps to get other some rest but it just ain’t there anymore
  25. Josh does Josh things is fun, but not necessarily winning superbowls. We have seen it for many years now, and the coaching staff has seen it many years. I do not subscribe to the theory that McDermott is such a control freak that he wants to do it his way only, even at the sacrifice of not having a chance at a superbowl. If game manager stuff leads to win a superbowl - like Jalen Hurts is doing for the most part for the Eagles, I'd sign up for that in a heart beat, painful to watch or not. Bills with Josh's history and the superbowl history have showed us without a defense, we are not going far in the playoffs. The Bills management - front office and coaches - have failed to build a capable (not dominating) defense so far.
