  1. Past hour
  2. Pheasants aren't native birds. They were introduced in the late 1800s and early 1900s to establish populations in about 40 states, but changes in agriculture -- especially clearing hedgerows around small fields to create much larger fields -- has decimated those breeding populations, and so most birds used for hunting today are stocked birds. Pheasants need the brushy areas between small grain fields (wheat, oats, corn) for protection and nesting.
  3. Keep him around, use him on kick returns not punt returns. We need him to open up the passing game. Even as mainly a decoy, he serves a purpose.
  4. Judging by his actions he may be trying to accelerate a move, he’s definitely not working out here, I’d definitely dump him for another piece we need. I would be surprised if he’s on the roster next season.
  5. Week 11 results Pick'em The Chargers, Falcons, and Vikings hurt a lot of people this week. Three people, Talley56, BobbyC's Brilliant Bets, and MJS, had the best picks with 13 correct. Sound Of Hobe continues in the #1 spot, with a score of 111. Top 10 still has 5 points spread from 1 to 10. Survivor Nobody knocked out this week, 8 people still remain. Most popular winning pick was Baltimore by 3 people, Dallas and Houston with 2, New England with 1.
  6. Perhaps everything is not always about Trump as you believe? And moving Maxwell to a minimum security facility is in part so the chances of her "committing suicide" like her boss are less likely? I'm going to take a wild guess and conclude she knows a lot more about the "clients" than what has already been said.
  7. And fan talking points are the pinnacle of intelligent discourse!
  8. especially the morning after a game. No one feels good
  9. Agreed. All day long. He's a nice guy, but a bozo who just doesn't get it. He'll be on a PS somewhere else next fall. From a human perspective, they can't possibly keep giving this guy a jersey for the balance of this year when Shavers outworks and outplays him. Shavers (with input from Gabe) took his spot, bluntly, and we can backfill Shavers with a JAG with a good attitude who works hard, plays STs, and puts in appropriate effort on "love of the game" routes and blocking assignments.
  10. She’s gotta know Ron Jeremy though, right?
  11. Dumping him now is like trashing your house than listing it on the market without cleaning up the garbage first.
  12. The obvious counterpoint is that the Chargers fans aren’t talking about trading Ladd lol.
  13. Show up to friggin work. Grow up. Take it seriously. Nobody else does this crap. Stuff like that.
  14. Yep, sometimes the backup QB just gets the ball out of his hand and doesn't mess around too much. Mills is like that. Some Texans fans think he's better. Kind of like Brissett in Arizona. Kyler struggles passing and never has that kind of day with completions.
  15. I think the bills organization is telling us that he is inactive because of immaturity. I think the actual reason is that he is overwhelmed/not good and can't contribute right now...
  16. Well, l the bettors don't see it that way. History matter I guess, as the Bills are 4th overall at +850 behind only the + 800 Chiefs. Bills are favored to win the AFC title at +375. Patriots are +1800 and +600 respectively, although they are heavy favorites to win division at -250. Broncos are +1600 and +600 respectively. What this tells me is the public perception is that all the AFC upstarts are not really that good, and that when crunch time comes they likely will fold. But those are the odds, so take a stab at some of the new "good" teams in the AFC if your convictions are strong as betting against the Bills could be profitable. As Josh said right after the comeback over the Ravens: "next time have a little faith." Not much faith among many here, but what the heck, I understand after Miami. But when the Bills play their game, they will be a tough out.
  17. No, he will be fine. When I was his age I was racing cars down Sheridan Dr at 90 mph ,driving home drunk almost every weekend. And if anyone denies any of the stupid thing we did at 22 years old is lying. Ok, he needs to grow up and when he does, than trade him.
  18. His first few games of his rookie season have (and still do) give me hopes that he can overcome his supposed slowness through effort, practice and study. We have seen - good first few games - lack of production post-injury - him practicing hard in the off-season - good first game of this season - lack of effort, discipline resulting in poor performance This up and down behavior is something I cannot understand. Is it just immaturity ? If yes , I hope the bulb will go on and he will realize what he is at risk of throwing away - a unique opportunity (in the NFL) which once gone will cause him to look for alternate careers with decidedly less pay and fame. I would like the Bills to hold on to him and see what happens in the off-season. If he comes unfocused and disinterested for TC, then by all means get rid of him.
  19. Always appreciate your insight here. Without tipping your hand too much, can you be any more specific on the nature of their frustration? Ability, maturity, etc,?
  20. Roger Stone? You keep connected with a convict? Why should he be relevent to any level headed person?
  21. I don’t mean to jump back in but they aren’t the same. McConkey is going to have another 1,000 yard season, 80+ catches and at least 6 or 7 TDs. This is on the heels of a rookie season where he had 82/1149/7. That isn’t the same as Keon. No matter how many ways, we cut up and manipulate Keon’s numbers to fit our agenda. It’s not only not the same, it’s not similar. If Keon had either of those years we’d give him a key to the city.
  22. Rewatched yesterday knowing they win and was able to see a few things I missed. Poyer had a good game. Closed coverage well, got to the ball quickly (even stopping a first down). Got beat badly on the TD run up the right, not sure many safeties would have recovered on that. Hardman. Having him go long, even incomplete helped open the field for the offense for the game. I’m all for taking shots just to give the offense more room around the LOS. Coleman was addition by subtraction. Shavers had a great game with tons of effort. Gabe. Gave Josh a safety valve on a few plays. Seemed in sync with Josh much more than when he played here last. 3rd and long. They gave up a first down on the left side 12-15 yards deep too many times yesterday and this season. Not sure if they are in zone when they do this but there is a consistent gap in coverage the receiver finds and sits in about 15 yards deep. Seems too easy for the offense to get long first downs. This was too close a game to be giving up easy firsts like this. Josh. Nothing can be said but let him be Josh. Yeah, you get not so great goal line interceptions, but you also get a beast who will take the game over and will it to a win.
  23. Do you think if Coleman was anything of substance as a wr he would be inactive on a team desperate for wr talent? I understand suck is a strong word but everyone drafted relatively early can obviously make a play. "Suck" here means that the player in question was drafted to be a starter, or solid contributor, and is overall a net negative. I am at the point now where I think we can say Coleman getting snaps throughout a game is a net negative. I think if kj hamler was playing, he would be better. Trust me I hate saying this but like I said before in a previous thread everything with Keon Coleman seems extremely forced and awkward. This is just my speculation and I have zero sources, but I think things are way worse than we realize and it's not just because Keon Coleman was late for a few team meetings. I think that's what the bills organization is telling us. I don't think he's a bad person or anything, I just think he's extremely overwhelmed and the bills said just make him inactive. he's going to be traded for whatever late pick in the off-season too.
  24. I'd use a Tortoise vs Hare reference to Shavers and Coleman except that Coleman is also the slow one in this scenario.
  25. This I think was more egregious that shown. The player grabbed his earhole and then the facemask. The yank on the earhole was enough to get the flag
